Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Ye Jian felt a chill on her back. She said in a low voice, ”There are indeed many extremists in the village, but not all of them are criminals. Q King, we can’t…”

”Don’t worry, I won’t.”

Xia Jinyuan guessed what she wanted to say and smiled. ”Let’s clean up some of the guys here and evacuate immediately. This is their country. We can’t be too arrogant.”

Ye Jian pursed her lips and smiled. That made sense. She was thinking too much.

The gunshots became more and more concentrated. Ye Jian felt No. 26’s back getting tenser. She ended the call. Before she ended the call, Xia Jinyuan said in a low voice, ”You’re a veteran. Let them learn.”

This was a disguised reminder to Azure Bird to take care of the special forces soldiers who had come overseas for their first mission.

Actually, Xia Jinyuan didn’t need to remind Ye Jian. Ye Jian would take care of them regardless. As the gunshots became more and more concentrated, Ye Jian raised her gun and fired at two targets consecutively. She leaned against the corner of the wall and asked No. 26, who was fighting close to her back, ”The leader is in this area. The three of you will guard the periphery. Weaver, White Crane, and I will go in and clean up. Can the three of you fight separately? You each have to guard one of the three intersections.”

”Yes!”

No. 26, who was bringing up the rear for Ye Jian, replied calmly, ”Leave it to us. No problem.”

”Okay!”

Ye Jian wasn’t careless. She didn’t have much time to doubt if her comrades could hold on. Since Captain Xia was at ease letting them come out for a mission, she believed in them.

Gunshots came from the center. The extremists, who were still searching, felt their hearts pounding. They quickly realized that it must be the three fleeing Chinese who caused the gunfight.

Realizing that the gunshots were made by the three fleeing Chinese, the scattered extremists started running in one direction and shouting.

”Quick, hurry up and go to the front! They must be there!”

”Don’t let them escape again! Hurry up and surround them!”

They gathered in one direction. This made it easier for the special forces soldiers from the Xueyu unit who were in hiding to kill several targets.

They stopped assassinating secretly and found a shooting point. They raised their rifles and fired at the black shadows running with guns.

The special forces soldiers of the Xueyu unit would not be soft-hearted when facing extremists who would destroy the peace of the border and even the peace of their country.

The sudden gunshots at a few points in the village stunned the extremists who were running.

What was going on?

What happened? Why were there gunshots in a few places?

”Something’s gone wrong! Something’s gone wrong!”

”Hurry up and inform the leader that soldiers have infiltrated our village!”

”This way, they’re shooting here!”

The village became even more chaotic. Those extremists who thought that they were surrounded by their country’s forces started to escape.

During their escape, a few extremists discovered their companions who were secretly killed and realized that the situation was very disadvantageous to them.

The fierce battle began. The bullets that were fired drew sparks in the darkness and flew in all directions. Some people were shot to death, some fell to the ground and struggled in pain, and some raised their guns to counter-attack in the darkness.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

The gunshots were no longer sporadic. They were so concentrated that it seemed as if guns could be heard from every corner.

The bullets hit the wall. The bullets dug in and kicked up endless dust. Dust splattered into the eyes. They didn’t even dare to blink, afraid that they would lose their position.

After knowing that there was a ’leader,’ Xia Jinyuan adjusted his combat deployment and brought three veterans into the middle of the village. That was where Ye Jian was. It was also the place with the most concentrated and fiercest firepower on the entire battlefield. He needed to bring troops to support her.

After dealing with the ’leader’ of the village, they would immediately retreat back to their country!
