Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

The water droplets that splashed up were illuminated by the rising morning sun until they were as resplendent as diamonds. They were thrown high into the sky with a stream of light, drawing a dazzling light in the morning sun before landing back in the river. They gathered and flowed into the distance.

The veterans gestured for their young captain to come down. They waved their wet hands vigorously and shouted at the shore, ”Captain, come down, come down! Fight with them.”

”They’ve just left their nest and they’re already thinking of turning the world upside down. You have to come down and support us. 30 against 14. There’s no chance of winning. We need help urgently.”

The person who shouted was T6. He wasn’t surprised at all when he saw Captain Xia and Azure Bird holding hands on the shore. He was smiling so widely that his eyes looked like a child.

He knew about the true relationship between the two people on the shore, so he didn’t think that there was anything wrong with them holding hands. After continuous mobile combat, he relaxed and played happily. When he saw the two of them holding hands, he didn’t think of reminding them and even shouted.

T6, who was screaming and asking for reinforcements, was thrown into the water by two intern soldiers who had gone through hardships to become proper soldiers. The tall man fell into the river that was so cold that the top of his head trembled. Water splashed everywhere. In an instant, he was pressed down by his two comrades and shouted for help.

T6, who was speaking, didn’t realize that there was a problem with the couple holding hands on the shore. The team members who pounced on him were also careless and didn’t pay much attention to the shore. They only cared about throwing these veterans who bullied them back then into the water to vent their anger.

They weren’t really angry. They just felt that… Damn it, they could finally bully them openly. They didn’t have to be so submissive as they were in the past, when they couldn’t even say anything even though they were angry. Finally… they had made a comeback.

With T6 being thrown into the river, V8 was thrown into the river too. Even Vice-Captain G3 was no exception. They were all thrown into the river and tortured by the intern soldiers.

K7 and E6, who had fast reactions, had long realized that there was something wrong with the gazes of these team members. They quickly went ashore early and narrowly avoided a calamity.

If they were slightly slower or caught off guard, the veterans would’ve been in trouble. T6 had said that it was 30 against 14, but it had become 30 against 8. Their numbers were overwhelming.

”F*ck, where are you rubbing? Don’t rub my pants!”

”Are you trying to rebel? Aren’t you afraid of my fists?”

”F*ck! Who scratched my feet? Aren’t they afraid of contagion?”

”No, no, no. I’m afraid of tickles. Hahaha… Damn it, help. I can’t take it anymore!”

The clear river that didn’t even reach their calves was filled with laughter. It became a paradise for the young special forces soldiers who had been fighting for three days and two nights.

The flames of war and gunpowder were washed away by the clear river. The thick smell of blood faded as the river water continued to wash it. Finally, it disappeared.

Ye Jian saw the veterans screaming as they were bullied by their new comrades. From time to time, she would hear some inappropriate sounds. Although it was a little awkward, it didn’t make her want to avoid it. Instead, she smiled until her eyes curved like crescent moons. She didn’t even hear the man beside her calling her a few times.

Lieutenant Colonel Xia saw that all her attention was on the river and raised his eyebrows. Then, he bent down and brushed his thin lips against her earlobe. He said softly with a smile, ”Do you want to go down and play too? I’ll carry you over and we can splash water together.”
