Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

V8, who was carrying a gun, was so awkward that he only wanted to stay away from this photographer. He couldn’t take it at all. He didn’t dare to stay with her anymore!

The trucks drove for about three kilometers before turning into a shelter. The sandstorm that swept over from the sky was right in front of them. There was already a layer of yellow dust on the windshields of the trucks.

”Get off, get off!”

Xia Jinyuan was the first to jump down from the truck in front. Right on the heels of that, the door of the truck opened and eight comrades got down quickly. The other trucks stopped, everyone got down immediately.

The sandstorm arrived. Yellow sand filled the sky and swept over. V8 said to Qin Ying in a low voice, ”The sandstorm will arrive soon. Hurry up!”

Qin Ying looked at the young officer whose stiff and cold eyebrows were revealed under his helmet. She pointed at the team member who was carrying the desert camouflage cloth and said calmly, ”I know. Hurry up and go.”

V8 glanced at her and didn’t say anything else. He picked up his rifle and immediately went back to his work.

To prevent the trucks from being covered by sand and dust, the five trucks had to be covered.

Qin Ying didn’t go alone. She stood in the sand less than a meter away from the others. When the young officers threw the desert camouflage cloth over, she joined them and pulled the camouflage cloth that was fluttering in the wind. She covered the car tightly.

V8 tied the tether to the wheel and was about to tie the second wheel when he realized that a woman was kneeling on the ground. She pulled the tether tightly and crawled under the wheel. Then, she stuffed the tether out of the gap between the rims and buckled it to the other end.

She didn’t need any help the entire time and completed the task alone.

After she finished, she didn’t say anything else. She covered her eyes with one hand and ran toward the shelter.

V8 frowned. He took off his helmet and chased after her. He apologized and put the helmet on Qin Ying’s head. Then, he wrapped one hand around the back of her neck and hugged her shoulder tightly to protect her as he sprinted toward the shelter.

The yellow sand was everywhere. The wind carried gravel along with it too. It would hit the soldiers’ helmets. V8, who didn’t have a helmet, was hit on the forehead by the sharp gravel. Blood flowed out and was covered by the yellow sand that hit his face. It actually had a hemostatic effect.

V8 didn’t make a sound when he bled. Qin Ying knew that the young officer who was shielding her while running must have been hit in the head or even injured.

Five years… How many days and nights had it been? That photo she took was developed several times a year. The first photo faded because of her fingers. Now, there was a photo album in her backpack. It was filled with photos of him alone. It was also the only photo. The number of his photos that she had developed in the past five years was equivalent to the number of photos in the photo album.

Even if the photos were worn out, she couldn’t bear to throw them away.

She couldn’t find him for a long time. She didn’t manage to see him again. It was as if he didn’t exist in this world. She thought she would have to wait another ten years…

Unexpectedly, there was a silver lining. She was forced to get married by the madam of her family and escaped to the desert to relax. She also took a few sets of photos to cover her living expenses. Unexpectedly… she met him again!

She hadn’t been able to find the person she was looking for, but she met him this time!

How could she not be excited? She was so excited that she ignored all womanly reservations and hugged his head to kiss him fiercely. She wanted to kiss him, but she suddenly stopped and kissed his face instead.

The kiss on his face was enough to make her so excited that she was drunk. She was really drunk. She was so drunk that she couldn’t believe that she had really met him. She was so drunk that she kept pestering him while secretly pinching her thigh to confirm that she wasn’t dreaming.

She wasn’t dreaming. She wasn’t dreaming. With her bruised thighs as evidence, she really wasn’t dreaming!
