Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

When she turned around, he looked back too. What a familiar face. What a kind smile. Her Uncle Chen… was waving goodbye to her.

Ye Jian cried and smiled again. Ye Jian, who was crying and smiling, raised her hand and waved at the empty Yellow River.

Commissar Yan followed her gaze. Besides the rain and the sky, there was nothing else.

”Let’s go, girl. It’s time for us to return to the Southern Province,” he said softly. He held Ye Jian’s cold hand and left with her.

’Old Chen, I’ll come and see you next time. If there’s a chance, I’ll bring Ye Jian along to see you.

’I still have to meet… Old Liu. I have to tell him that you left. I don’t know what he did in prison. I’ll go over and visit him this time to see if I can understand the situation.

’Now that you’ve left and Old Liu is in prison, our relationship will dissipate.’

Commissar Yan, who had become much haggard overnight, held Ye Jian’s hand and left the Yellow River. They still had to return to the Southern Province together and tidy up Principal Chen’s belongings at the sniper base. Commander Xia had said that Old Chen had left without a trace, but his deeds must not be unknown.

They had to sort it out. They had to find the murderer and the people behind the murderer. Old Chen’s deeds would become a military secret. They had to let the soldiers, who had become top snipers, see and know that their country once had a world-class sniper who had dedicated his entire life to the country.

Heroes should not be unknown. Heroes should live in their hearts forever and become faith!

The soldiers and instructors of the sniper base all knew that their Instructor Chen had been sacrificed. At 3:06 am, when the camp gate slowly opened and Ye Jian walked in with the wooden box, a sorrowful salute sounded like a thunderclap. As all the soldiers raised their arms. Instructor Chen returned had returned to the base.

It was just an empty box covered with the flag, but they still welcomed Principal Chen back to the military camp with the highest etiquette.

Instructor Chen had to leave without making a sound. He didn’t want to alarm the base. However, every soldier here had received Instructor Chen’s personal guidance before. If they couldn’t send him off, they would welcome him home. Even if… it was just an empty box, their Instructor Chen had slept in it before.

In the early morning, the sniper base was shrouded in sorrow. Ye Jian walked past the middle of the tunnel. She even heard the sound of soldiers sobbing.

They remembered Uncle Chen and would remember him for the rest of their lives. ’Uncle Chen, look, you’ve never left. You’ll always live in the hearts of the soldiers. You’re destined to not be unknown forever. In the near future, your name will definitely be carved on a monument.’

The soldiers had already tidied up all of Uncle Chen’s belongings. They only needed to hand them to Ye Jian personally. The leader of the sniper base said to Ye Jian, ”This room will always maintain its original appearance. The soldiers will take turns to clean Instructor Chen’s room. The cups on the table will be filled with water.

There will be hot water in thermal bottles every day, and the bed will be tidied every day… The dust on the bookcase will be cleaned every day. As long as the sniper base is still around, this will always be Instructor Chen’s room.”

They were doing this because they would miss Instructor Chen, who had helped all the soldiers greatly in sniping. The leader wanted every sniper who entered the sniper base to know that there was once an instructor here who had taught countless outstanding snipers.
