Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Ye Jian nodded sleepily. It was a little painful, but it was alright.

After using a few bottles of saline, the doctor raised his head and said to the female soldier who had her eyes closed, ”We can start picking out the thorns now. Some of the thorns are too deep. If you can’t stand it, you can tell me. We’ll stop for a moment before starting again.”

The female soldier, who had her eyes closed, didn’t answer. The nurse took a look and walked closer. She lowered her voice and said in surprise, ”Director Dai, she’s asleep.”

”She’s asleep?” Director Dai got up slightly to take a look. Ye Jian was really asleep!

He thought that she would be in so much pain that she wouldn’t be able to take it. However, he didn’t expect her to fall asleep.

How tired was she?

Ye Jian was too tired after returning to the country. The pain in her legs couldn’t stop the drowsiness from sweeping over her. Even Director Dai, who was in charge of picking out the thorns, didn’t wake her up.

The nurse’s heart ached when she saw this.

It took Director Dai three hours to remove all the broken thorns from Ye Jian’s calves. Looking at the bloody thorns on the tray, the numb nurse rushed out.

Commander Xia, who was about to push the door open, saw the tray in the nurse’s hand. He looked at it with a dark gaze and asked the nurse, ”Have you picked out everything?”

This was the border defense general hospital. The nurse was very familiar with the military ranks. When she saw that it was a lieutenant general, she immediately said, ”Chief, Director Dai has already picked out all the thorns. That female soldier has been sleeping and hasn’t woken up.”

Little Ye fell asleep?

If she was asleep, he wouldn’t be able to wake her up.

Commander Xia, who specially came to take a look at Ye Jian’s condition, stopped in his tracks. After Doctor Dai came out, he asked about Ye Jian’s situation seriously.

The results of the CT scan on Ye Jian’s waist were out. Doctor Dai took the CT scan from the nurse and replied seriously, ”The overall situation is not bad. All the broken thorns on her calves have been picked out. Although there’s inflammation, it’s not a big problem.”

After taking a closer look at the scan, Director Dai saw the stern face of the commander sitting in front of him. He didn’t dare to look at him directly, but he smiled.

Seeing the doctor smile, Commander Xia’s tense expression relaxed.

”It looks like there’s nothing major with her waist. Her waist muscles are injured, and she needs to rest for two to three months. She can’t undergo excessive training for the next few months.”

Commander Xia remembered everything. He planned to let Ye Jian have a good rest for the next two to three months after she went to the National Science University.

While Ye Jian was sleeping soundly, Commander Xia went to visit other wards. However… everyone was asleep. Those who needed to be checked and those who needed to treat their wounds… had all fallen asleep after they were examined and treated.

The border defense had sent an armed police soldier to keep an eye on the patients’ IV drip at every ward. When they saw a chief with the military rank of a lieutenant general pushing the door open and entering, they hurriedly saluted. However, Commander Xia stopped them gently.

The Chinese soldiers lying on the sickbeds were too tired. They should have a good sleep. They shouldn’t be woken up because of him.

Not all the comrades were asleep. G3 wasn’t asleep. He was looking through the medical records of his comrades so that he could know about their situation immediately.

Commander Xia pushed open the last ward at the end of the corridor. G3, whose arm was still on an IV drip, looked up. Commander Xia was here!

He pulled the needle out of his arm. His actions were so fast that Commander Xia didn’t even have the time to stop him. G3 pulled the needle out and jumped down from the bed. Then, he saluted and said, ”Chief.”

Commander Xia didn’t expect him to move so quickly. It was so fast that he was shocked.
