Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

All the people they sent out were illegal infiltrators. If they were caught by General Minlai’s men, the Chinese would not be able to negotiate with them. Everything depended on their soldiers avoiding danger and reaching the port of the Mekong River.

”The distance is far. Even if the journey is smooth, we need to walk in the forest for around three days. Now, because of Minlai’s obstruction, the entire journey back to the country will be dragged out.”

The Xueyu unit, which was much faster than the Cloud Leopard Commando Brigade, received the news that General Minlai was stopping the Chinese female soldiers from returning to China.

The members of the Xueyu unit felt that what General Minlai did was correct. If it were them, they would do the same.

They won a battle in other people’s territory last night. It was normal for the loser to want to take revenge secretly.

”We’ll catch up with the Cloud Leopard Commando Brigade as soon as possible. We’ll definitely reach the port within 75 hours!” G3, who was talking through the domestic satellite, said calmly and informed the time they would arrive at the port.

Minlai wanted to find the Chinese female soldiers. If he gave the order directly and surrounded the Chinese female soldiers openly, the Xueyu unit and the Cloud Leopard Commando Brigade would face a dangerous journey back to their country.

However, he didn’t. He only set up his cards secretly. From this, it could be seen that he was worried. That meant that if they avoided his checkpoint, they could avoid danger.

At 1:00 pm the next day, Zhou Yijin, who had been walking since last night, sat under a tree and took out the cell phone she had obtained not long ago. After looking at it for a while, she turned on her cell phone and saw the unread message she had received in China a few days ago.

She entered the message box and scrolled to the bottom of the unread message. She saw an unread message from ’Sixth Cousin-in-law’.

Sixth Cousin-in-law… There was still no news of her sixth cousin-in-law. She wondered how she was doing. Did she meet her cousin? Did her sixth cousin come back with her sixth cousin-in-law? Were the two of them alright? Were they hurt?

Thinking about it brought tears to her eyes again. Zhou Yijin sniffed hard and opened the unread message.

[I’ll come and find you.]

Ye Jian didn’t say anything else. Her words were concise and powerful.

When Zhou Yijin saw these five words, the tears that she wanted to hold back flowed out. It caught the attention of the male soldiers of the Cloud Leopard Commando Brigade who were on guard at the side. They looked at each other and secretly glanced at the other female soldier who wasn’t crying for the time being.

They wanted Liu Le to coax Zhou Yijin, but who knew that… when Liu Le saw Zhou Yijin crying, her nose started tingling. She couldn’t help but cry too.

The male soldiers were speechless.

Forget it. There was no need to coax them. They just needed to cry. They had been crying all the way here. There was no need for the male soldiers to comfort them. They would stop their tears voluntarily.

Zhou Yijin buried her head in her arms and cried until she couldn’t breathe. She sent a distress message and her sixth cousin-in-law replied, ”I’ll come and find you.” Her sixth cousin-in-law really did as she said.

She risked her life to get her back!

Now, she was out of danger. What about her sixth cousin-in-law?

Was she okay?

Burying her head, Zhou Yijin cried until her eyes were swollen again. Then, she recovered.

The male soldiers heaved a sigh of relief. It was good that she was no longer crying.

After contacting their superiors again, the Cloud Leopard Commando Brigade soldiers quickly learned that after a night of intense fighting, their mysterious comrades, who had a zero casualty rate, were rushing back to their country. At the same time, they encountered the checkpoint set up by General Minlai and were also detouring into the Mekong River.

They would take a boat back to their country at the same port. Thus, the two military units that had lost contact with each other contacted each other again and agreed on a place to meet. Then, they would take a disguised assignments boat back to their country.
