Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Xia Jinyuan raised his hand again and touched Ye Jian’s face gently. His tall body bent down, and his slightly warm thin lips landed on Ye Jian’s face. Who would dare to step on what he cherished?!

”Wait for me.”

He left her with these two words. Then, he turned around and walked toward the wooden house. He didn’t look back at all. He walked out of Ye Jian’s sight firmly.

Ye Jian watched him leave with a soldier’s salute.

Just now, the person who hugged her was just an ordinary man who loved her deeply. Now, the person who was walking away was a soldier who had a huge responsibility on his shoulders. When he turned around, there was a clear distinction between a lover and a soldier.

V8’s soft voice came from the earpiece. ”Is it over? All the sentries and covert sentries have been taken care of.”

Ye Jian’s facial expression froze. She seemed to have forgotten to communicate with V8. What had V8 heard?

He must have heard something. That was why he asked if it was over.

Ye Jian’s face was burning. She hid behind a tree and adjusted her breathing before replying, ”My target hasn’t appeared yet. I think we’ll have to wait for a while. Q King just told me that General Minlai from Myanmar will arrive in about an hour. Our mission must start before he arrives. We can’t let him see us directly.”

”There’s a warehouse in the village that stores drugs. I’m not sure where it is. If you can find it, burn it. We shouldn’t let the drugs out into the market as that’ll only hurt people.”

”Roger that. Take care of Qin Maosheng properly. Two comrades are rushing over to receive you.” V8, who could feel Ye Jian’s awkwardness through the wireless communication, chuckled. ”When you see the target appear, inform us to cut off the power. You can take advantage of the chaos and take care of him. G3 and the rest are in position.

The two comrades who are supporting you are near the wooden house. It’s up to you now.”

G3 and the rest finally arrived ten minutes ago. Without resting, they immediately completed their combat deployment according to the topographic map provided by V8 and the scouts from the Cloud Leopard Commando Brigade.

At this moment, Zhou Yijin and Liu Le, two female soldiers, were escorted back to China by seven male soldiers from the Cloud Leopard Commando Brigade.

They were safe.

”Roger that.” After answering, Ye Jian started to change her hiding spot. If she wanted to assassinate her target, she would have to get closer. She glanced at the roof of the wooden house. That would be her hiding spot.

Before ending the call, V8 smiled and said, ”Azure Bird, I’m a gentleman.” Hence, he knew not to see or listen to things he shouldn’t.

…

Ye Jian’s face was a little hot. She maintained her composure and pretended that she didn’t understand. She replied, ”I understand.” Then, she quickly ended the conversation.

V8, who was hiding in the dark, smiled and told his comrades that General Minlai had arrived in about an hour. As soon as he finished speaking, his footsteps were as light as a beast that could sneak attack its prey from behind. He sneaked toward the entire village’s power station with his comrades.

Qin Maosheng was very vigilant. He even arranged for people to guard the company’s power station. If there was a power outage, they could repair it immediately.

”You take the left, I’ll take the right. We’ll twist their necks.” Under the dim lights of the power station, V8, whose eyes were shifting, made a hand gesture to his comrades. Then, he went to the back of the power station to kill his way in from the right.

The two of them, one on the left and one on the right, covered the mouths of the two Myanmar men guarding the power station. They locked their elbows and twisted forcefully. The sound of bones breaking could be heard. The two Myanmar men holding guns were killed cleanly without any blood.

At this moment, the soldiers couldn’t care about whether their targets were innocent or not.
