Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

Xia Jinyuan was the least worried. He knew that the people behind him were all his comrades and hoped that they could rush over as soon as possible.

Time passed slowly. Cobra took out his phone again and looked at it. He still couldn’t contact the outside world. They were still under signal blockage. Cobra almost crushed his phone.

It was already 10:00 pm. They had been running in the mountains for almost an hour.

The gunshots in the mountains were getting weaker and weaker. This meant that Qin Maosheng’s subordinates were almost finished off by the Chinese. This meant that his defenses were getting weaker and weaker. Maybe… the Chinese would be able to find them soon.

Luke, who was bringing up the rear, shouted, ”Go!”

Someone was coming!

F*ck!

Damn it, someone is running toward them.

”This way, hurry up and chase!”

Right on the heels of that, everyone around Cobra heard a voice as cold and hard as a knife. Amazingly… the voice wasn’t speaking Chinese at all. It was speaking English!

What?

These people weren’t sent by the Chinese?

A huge black question mark appeared in Luke’s mind. Did he hear wrongly? Were they not from China?

Now was not the time to clear their doubts. They heard the unlucky fellow running toward them. God, if it was possible, they could help to take care of that fellow!

”Luke, Xia, attract their attention. The two of you run this way while the other two run this way! Hurry.”

The danger was getting closer and closer. It was already beside him. Cobra immediately made his arrangements. Besides the four bodyguards following him, the rest of the people split up to attract his attention.

”Split into three groups and chase them upward…”

Ye Jian held her breath and told her comrades about her observations in time. After entering the mountain, Ye Jian’s speed didn’t decrease. Instead, it increased.

The four years of hellish training wasn’t for nothing. They didn’t walk around in the forest. The Xueyu unit was used to jungle combat, and Ye Jian was the same.

As a sniper, she was able to find an advantageous observation position quickly. It was also because she surpassed E6 and M and kept an eye on Cobra and his men.

This way, she could get closer to the man she loved.

Xia Jinyuan knew that his comrades had been beside him. The gazes that landed on him were so familiar. He and Luke quickly hid and raised the guns in their hands.

Now, he wasn’t their captain or their comrade. He was their enemy.

”There’s more here. Catch up, catch up!”

”Damn it, there’s more here!”

”You guys go up. We’ll chase this way!”

They were conversing in fluent English. When Xia Jinyuan heard Luke tighten his grip on the gun, he stared ahead… Even if he couldn’t see anything, he widened his eyes and stared…

Bang, bang, bang…

Gunshots were heard again. This time, the gunshots were heard beside Cobra. The bullets hit the trees, and the wood shavings even splattered on Cobra’s face.

The atmosphere suddenly became tense as the two sides confronted each other.

The bodyguards beside him started to retaliate. They had already been targeted. They had to retaliate!

Luke fired too. He fired at the spot where the leaves swayed. He wasn’t sure if he hit his target.

”We lack a set of night-vision equipment now. Xia, we need a set of night-vision equipment!” said Luke in a low voice, panting heavily. He quickly hid after firing two shots.
