Rebirth: General, Don't Mess Around!

”That’s good. We can take a few more shots at him!” V8 said in a cold voice. ”We’ll let him know the consequences of insulting the Chinese soldiers.”

”Q King is taking care of him. Don’t worry, he won’t have a good time,” M added.

Ye Jian didn’t have the time to answer. She took care of the two Burmese soldiers and hid behind a tree. She adjusted her breathing and said, ”Where’s Captain Xia? E6, M, keep an eye on him. Don’t let Cobra find him.”

He came back unexpectedly. Ye Jian frowned slightly.

If her one shot didn’t kill Qin Maosheng, she would continue firing a few more shots. She didn’t want Captain Xia to take the risk and come back.

E6 said, ”I’ll keep an eye on him. Don’t worry. Cobra is already escaping into the mountains. We have to catch up. Azure Bird, you come and keep an eye on him. The two of us will follow Cobra.”

”Okay!”

In a short period of time, the three of them quickly changed their positions. Two of them chased after Cobra while Ye Jian stood guard for Xia Jinyuan.

The bodyguard beside Qin Maosheng who was shot in the shoulder ran out of bullets. Panting heavily, he found another position and took out his phone to call for help again. He realized that there was no signal at all.

The village he was in was already under the control of another party.

In that case…

The injured foreign bodyguard, who had planned to look for his employer, gritted his teeth and held his bleeding shoulder. He wanted to leave alone.

It was impossible to guard this place!

There was no need to stay in this place. He couldn’t bring his employer along too. He was injured too. If he brought his injured employer along, the two of them wouldn’t be able to leave.

Also, his employer was shot in the throat. There was no way he could be saved!

The foreign bodyguard stopped resisting and quickly left this dangerous place where he could lose his life at any moment.

At this moment, Qin Maosheng’s face was stepped on by Xia Jinyuan’s combat boots. He stepped on it very hard. It was even harder for him to breathe. All the oxygen was taken from him. He couldn’t breathe anymore.

There were so many gunshots in his ears, but they seemed far away in his ears.

”Heh… Heh…” He opened his mouth wide. He didn’t want to die, so he wanted to breathe harder. In exchange, blood flowed out of his throat that was temporarily blocked by gauze.

”You like to step on other people’s faces. In that case, you must like other people stepping on your face too. Isn’t this comfortable?”

Xia Jinyuan, who was wearing combat boots, dragged Qin Maosheng to a blind spot before taking revenge. Ye Jian didn’t know where he was.

Qin Maosheng was in despair. He seemed to have understood something. He grabbed the corner of Xia Jinyuan’s pants tightly and let out a broken scream. He wanted to speak loudly, but he couldn’t say a word.

”Why did Mr. Cobra leave overnight? He knew that you wouldn’t be able to live for long. You kidnapped Chinese soldiers? Did you hear the gunshots? Did you hear the screams of your subordinates?

These sounds are telling you what happens if you kidnap Chinese soldiers!”

Xia Jinyuan’s eyes were cold and ruthless as he stared at Qin Maosheng, whose facial features were deformed. He used his combat boots to crush Qin Maosheng’s face. He hated Qin Maosheng so much that he wanted to use his dagger to cut his flesh. The soles of Xia Jinyuan’s boots rubbed against Qin Maosheng’s face that was no longer as arrogant as before. Xia Jinyuan moved toward his neck slowly.

He only moved slightly, but Qin Maosheng knew what he wanted to do. He was even more panicked and desperate. His grip on Xia Jinyuan’s calf tightened.
