I Just Started College, How Could I Become a Part-Time Papa?!

Chapter 42: Chapter 42: Are You Addicted?

”Alright, moms and dads, that’s all for today’s early education class. If you have any more questions, you can find Teacher Hua Hua at the door. She’ll be happy to answer them for you.”

Everyone gradually got to their feet, and Chen Yuan picked up Mili.

”Wait for me a second. I’m going to ask a few questions.”

”Okay.”

Chen Yuan stood by the door with the baby while Jiang Wanyi and the other parents gathered around the early education teacher to ask their questions.

”How many months is your baby?” a parent next to her asked.

”She’s almost nine months.”

”About the same as mine. Is your husband always the one taking care of the baby?”

”Yes, he’s always the one.”

This wasn’t the first or second time she’d been misunderstood, and Jiang Wanyi had no intention of clearing things up.

They were just strangers who met by chance; it’s not like they’d ever see each other again. It didn’t matter what their relationship was since no one would ever know. There was no point in wasting time and energy explaining it.

”I’m so jealous, you have such a great husband. At my house, I’m the only one who takes care of the baby. The second I let my husband watch her, it’s total chaos. It’s more trouble than it’s worth.”

”It’s true, I have it pretty easy at home. I don’t have to do a thing.”

This feeling of showing off was just too good. Jiang Wanyi couldn’t help herself.

She even wanted the woman to ask a few more questions.

’Chen Yuan isn’t here anyway. I can brag all I want.’

”I need to have a good long talk with him when I get home. I look at your husband, then I look at mine... there’s just no comparison.”

Even though it wasn’t true, at that moment, Jiang Wanyi’s vanity was a little satisfied.

After chatting for a bit and asking a few more questions, Jiang Wanyi left.

”How was it? Do you think we need to sign up?”

”No need,” Chen Yuan said, shaking his head.

”We can kiss at home. No need to do it here.”

Huh?

Jiang Wanyi paused. She had expected Chen Yuan to comment on the early education content, not the kissing part.

”You brat, be serious,” Jiang Wanyi said, embarrassed.

”We can do the other stuff at home, too. No need to waste money.”

”I was thinking the same thing.”

They were both on the same page, but Jiang Wanyi still habitually asked for Chen Yuan’s opinion.

If he thought it was useful, she would sign up for a few classes to try it out.

”Let’s go check out the baby store and buy some other things.”

”Okay.”

The two of them went to the baby store, then had a meal before driving home.

After parking the car, Jiang Wanyi hurried home. She was definitely engorged again.

Sure enough, after changing her clothes, she came out holding over 200 milliliters of milk.

”If I keep drinking this, I really feel like I’m going to have a growth spurt.”

”Then grow a little more.”

Jiang Wanyi was used to this kind of teasing.

After he drank the milk, they had a clear division of labor. They played with the baby for a while, and then it was time for her bath.

Around nine at night, Chen Yuan sang a nursery rhyme and lulled Mili to sleep.

The awesome part about the reward was that even though his English sucked, as long as a song was in the system’s music library, he could sing it perfectly.

Meanwhile, Jiang Wanyi had changed into yoga pants, ready for today’s postpartum recovery session.

The gap between her thighs was still there. Chen Yuan held up two fingers and gestured at the space between her legs.

”Looks like it’s having some effect.”

”All I can say is, you’re amazing.”

”Let’s keep going. After a few more sessions, there should be a noticeable effect.”

”You’re the professional. I’ll listen to you.”

”Okay.”

Jiang Wanyi lay flat on the bed. Mili was sleeping right next to her, and as she lay down, she habitually gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Chen Yuan continued with the postpartum recovery routine, following the same method as yesterday.

First was the rectus abdominis, continuously pushing it together toward the center.

Jiang Wanyi noticed that he was spending noticeably more time on her abs today than yesterday. Looking at his eyes, she could see he was very focused.

”Are you getting addicted to touching me?”

”You know, it actually feels really nice. It’s so soft.”

’It’s just a slightly fleshy stomach,’ Jiang Wanyi thought, both annoyed and amused. ’How could it possibly be that charming?’

After finishing the rectus abdominis recovery, next was the pelvic floor muscles. While applying pressure, he also tapped back and forth on the area.

As he tapped, the flesh of her bottom trembled along with it, like ripples on the surface of water.

Jiang Wanyi lay still with her eyes closed.

It hurt a little, but it was bearable.

But while Chen Yuan was tapping her pelvis, a few of his taps went astray and landed on her butt...

’That brat... he didn’t do that on purpose, did he...?’

’Probably not. Chen Yuan definitely isn’t that kind of person.’

’But...’

’He’s definitely peeked before...’

Unconsciously, a faint, almost imperceptible smile appeared on the corner of Jiang Wanyi’s lips.

’He’s great most of the time. It’s only on rare occasions that he gets a little lecherous...’

About an hour later, today’s postpartum recovery work was considered complete.

The remaining exercises didn’t require Chen Yuan. He had taught her yesterday, so she could just use the props herself.

Jiang Wanyi went to the living room, and Chen Yuan stayed in the bedroom.

He felt the changing pad; Mili had wet it. He changed the pad for her, applied some baby powder, and then covered her with a small blanket.

Mili was sleeping soundly. Her posture was rather abstract, with her body spread out like a star.

Looking at her rosy little face, one really felt the urge to kiss her. But she wasn’t his child, so he couldn’t just kiss her whenever he wanted.

Chen Yuan suddenly remembered how, at the early education center, he had first kissed Mili, and then kissed Jiang Wanyi.

’Mother-achievement unlocked.’

’That’s a bit perverted.’

But Chen Yuan couldn’t figure it out. He’d never had any particular feelings about children before, so why had he grown to like them now?

’Could it be a case of ”love the house, love the crow”? Because of her mother?’

”You should see how contorted your posture is.”

Chen Yuan turned his head and saw Jiang Wanyi standing at the doorway, holding a yoga mat. She hadn’t gone out yet.

He looked down at himself. He was sitting on the floor, leaning over the edge of the bed, watching Mili.

His posture really was a bit contorted.

”You’re already like this with my child. If you have your own in the future, you’ll probably have them strapped to you all day.”

”Depends on if it’s a boy or a girl.”

”Oh? You’d treat them differently?”

”You have to be more careful with a girl. For a boy, as long as he doesn’t die, it’s fine.”

PFFT—

Jiang Wanyi couldn’t help but laugh.

”You should go lie down for a bit, too. Don’t worry about her. Get some rest.”

”I’ll carry her to the spare bedroom. You get a good night’s sleep today.”

”No, don’t,” Jiang Wanyi said, stepping forward to stop him.

”I let you stay here so you wouldn’t have to go back and forth, not so you could take care of the baby all night.”

Jiang Wanyi also had a strong sense of propriety. Sleeping with the baby was no easy task. She had already rested for a whole day and her energy was mostly restored, so naturally, she didn’t want to burden Chen Yuan.

’He’s already helped me so much and gone above and beyond. I can’t push my luck.’

”I’m full of energy right now, too. You rest for one more day.”

With that, Chen Yuan picked up the baby and went to the spare bedroom.

Chen Yuan had his own little selfish reason for doing this. Maybe another mission would pop up tonight, so he wanted to spend as much time with the baby as possible.

He lay in bed, the sleeping child on one side, and on the other side of the door, Jiang Wanyi was doing her Kegels.

’This is pretty nice, too.’
