I Just Started College, How Could I Become a Part-Time Papa?!

Chapter 24: Chapter 24: Does This Count As Me Enlightening Him?

Jiang Wanyi couldn’t stop laughing.

”Oh, stop it. There’s no need to pay attention to people like that.”

Chen Yuan came into the living room. Mili was crawling around in her playpen, playing energetically by herself, which was a relief.

Next to the playpen was a half-finished glass of iced Americano.

”In your current condition, it’s best if you drink less of this stuff.”

’This handsome young man is quite considerate.’

”I know, but I’m so tired. I can’t get through the day without a little. I’m drinking it slowly, and my stomach doesn’t hurt.”

”That’s one thing, but I’m also worried that after you drink it, the ’inventory’ will be affected. If the baby drinks it, she won’t want to sleep...”

”I forgot about that. It should be fine, right?”

”It’s not a huge problem. The main things to avoid are greasy and spicy foods.”

”I haven’t eaten any of that in so long. I see all that rich food on my phone every day, but I just can’t have it.”

Jiang Wanyi sighed. ”I had it all figured out before. I didn’t have much milk anyway, so I was just going to stop breastfeeding. But after I met you, that problem was fixed, and now I can’t eat anything.”

”So, do you want to eat some?”

”Can I?”

”Why not? We’ll do it again today, and then supplement with some restorative foods. After that, it won’t be a problem anymore,” Chen Yuan said. ”We’ll build up a bigger supply. The day after you eat, just throw out the fresh stuff and use some of the stored milk.”

”I’ll do as you say.”

”Okay.”

Chen Yuan went to the playpen and played with Mili for a while, after which she got hungry.

Jiang Wanyi took the baby back to the room, fed her, burped her, and she fell asleep.

Coming out of the bedroom, she tied her hair up with a hair tie.

”Should we start now?”

”Yeah.”

After putting her hair up, Jiang Wanyi went into the spare bedroom.

”Aren’t you going to change?”

”No. Even if I wore something else, it would just get wet anyway. Besides, you already saw everything yesterday,” Jiang Wanyi said nonchalantly. ”And this is serious business, so there’s no need to be shy about it. Direct contact might even be more effective.”

”That... is true...”

In the spare bedroom, Jiang Wanyi sat on the bed. First, she took off her outer blouse, revealing a nude-colored bra underneath.

When she went to take off her bra, she wasn’t as composed as when she’d removed her blouse.

She reached a hand behind her back and quietly unclasped it. Freed from its restraint, her full form was revealed.

’For an 18-year-old college freshman, this was a little much. They were absolutely gorgeous...’

Jiang Wanyi’s face was a little red, but she could only pretend to be calm and lie down.

’I’m a grown woman. I have to stay calm. This is nothing.’

Jiang Wanyi tried to console herself. ’I’m a married woman now, this is no big deal...’

Chen Yuan took a deep breath and got down to business.

Many years later, when facing Jiang Wanyi, the 18-year-old college freshman Chen Yuan would recall the afternoon his father took him out to play with water guns.

”Mili didn’t eat much, did she?” Chen Yuan asked.

”Why do you ask?”

”There’s still so much. It’s obvious she didn’t eat a lot.”

”Didn’t you say I had potential? Well, now you’ve unlocked it all.”

Jiang Wanyi chuckled, handing him a tissue and saying with a smile, ”Wipe it off.”

’Wiping it off would be a waste.’

Jiang Wanyi gave him a seductive smile. ’This little rascal...’

About half an hour later, the third session was over.

”That should be enough for now. You won’t need any more massages after this.”

”Okay.”

Jiang Wanyi sat up, using her clothes to cover her chest, and Chen Yuan left the room.

Sitting on the sofa, Chen Yuan’s mind was racing.

’The allure of ’partially hidden, partially revealed’ was one thing, but this kind of direct impact was something else entirely. It’s tough to handle. I have to calm down.’

After changing her clothes, Jiang Wanyi was back to her gorgeous, young wife persona.

Seeing Chen Yuan sitting absently on the sofa, she felt like laughing.

’It must be his first time seeing something like that, right?’

’The little rascal is still trying to process it all.’

”Want an ice-cold Coke?”

’On a day this hot, it’ll help him cool down.’

”Sure.”

Jiang Wanyi took a Coke from the fridge and handed it to Chen Yuan.

”You’re in college now. Are you dating anyone?”

”There’s one school activity after another. I haven’t really thought about it.”

’As expected.’

’Did I just initiate him?’

’Probably not. Kids these days are different from how I was back then. They have so many ways of getting information...’

’What is all this nonsense? Why am I even thinking about this...?’

She hadn’t slept well the night before, so Jiang Wanyi was tired. After chatting briefly with Chen Yuan, she went back to her room to sleep with the baby.

Chen Yuan also lay down on the sofa and slept for a while, only waking up when he heard the baby crying.

Mili was always well-behaved when she saw Chen Yuan, which freed up Jiang Wanyi.

They ordered takeout and filled their stomachs.

After the meal, there was a knock on the door. It was a delivery driver from JD.com, dropping off several packages.

”Come try these on. I bought you some clothes.”

”You bought them for me?”

”I washed your clothes yesterday, and you didn’t have anything else to wear, so I bought you two outfits.”

”Uh...”

’She’s already bought them, so I can’t really refuse.’

”Don’t be so formal with me. Hurry and try them on. If they don’t fit, I’ll exchange them for you.”

”Okay.”

Jiang Wanyi had bought two outfits in total: one from Nike and one from Adidas.

In recent years, these two brands had fallen from their pedestals, but they were still pretty good for everyday wear.

Besides the clothes, there was also a pair of shoes. All together, it must have cost over a thousand yuan at least.

”They fit perfectly.”

”I have pretty good taste, don’t I? You look really handsome.”

Jiang Wanyi looked Chen Yuan over. He was already a clean-cut young man, and in these fresh clothes, he looked even neater.

”Is the uncle handsome?” Jiang Wanyi asked, looking at Mili.

”Goo goo... ga ga...”

Mili couldn’t talk; she could only giggle happily.

”I’m only 18 and I’m already an uncle.”

”If she called you ’big brother,’ wouldn’t that make me a generation older than you?” Jiang Wanyi said with a charming laugh. ”And I can’t accept you calling me ’auntie’.”

’I’ve been calling her ’sis’ this whole time without ever really thinking about the generation gap.’

”That makes sense.”

Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, the sky was filled with the setting sun. Jiang Wanyi asked tentatively,

”Are you in a hurry to go back?”

”If you want me to stay, I won’t go.”

”Of course I want you to stay. You should stay here. It’s so boring with just the two of us at home every day.”

’Chen Yuan thought about last night. They had talked very late. She must be really bored.’

’He figured that wouldn’t happen today, since she hadn’t slept well.’

”Then let’s go for a walk downstairs.”

”Okay.”

Jiang Wanyi went back to her room and changed into a very casual outfit: denim shorts and a gray T-shirt. Her hair was casually pinned up in the back, and she exuded a kind of beauty that had been refined by time.

’That ’feminine charm’ thing really is about age and temperament. If it were Song Jianye, she wouldn’t have this feeling even if she wore the same clothes.’

’Dammit, my occupational hazard is flaring up again.’
