The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1408: Chapter 1408: He is so talented, and so handsome...

”Comprehended?”

Carson Flores stopped purifying his swordsmanship, looking at Spencer Steele with amazement. It had only been ten days.

”Show me the routine.”

Spencer Steele took out her sword, took a moment to compose herself, and struck with her blade.

Carson Flores’s pupils contracted slightly.

The power of this sword was not all that impressive to Carson at the moment, but it already bore the shadow of the ”Dao.” If it had been someone at the same cultivation level in the Divinity Transformation Stage, they definitely wouldn’t have been able to withstand it.

She truly had completely comprehended the First Move of the Heavenly Sword.

Impressive!

Ten days!

He himself had directly inherited the legacy from Bank Austin, taking three months to understand the Sword Dao and the first move, while she, with just one explanation and demonstration from him, had taken merely ten days to fully comprehend it.

Over ten times the comprehension speed!

Carson Flores felt that perhaps he really had found a treasure.

This treasure was not for himself, but for the White Crane Immortal Sect.

”Not bad, your comprehension ability is quite good. I’m going out to handle some affairs, you can follow me for now. Once the matter is settled, I’ll take you back to the mountain.”

Spencer Steele breathed a sigh of relief and carefully asked, ”Uncle Carson, when you say back to ’the mountain’... which mountain do you mean?”

Carson Flores smiled and said, ”The place where I cultivate. You’ll know once we get there.”

Carson Flores still hadn’t revealed his identity; he wanted to observe her a bit longer.

Considering his young age, he hadn’t thought about taking a disciple, but since he met her on his way out, it would be somewhat wasteful not to take her in.

Perhaps this was the fate between him and her.

Carson Flores has always been someone who follows the natural course of things, thinking so, he also felt at peace with the decision.

Although Spencer Steele wanted to know Carson’s identity, since he didn’t speak of it, she didn’t feel entitled to ask further and kept her curiosity within.

She also wondered if Carson would covet the map, but since he never mentioned it from the beginning to the end, and even when she actively offered to give him the map, he didn’t agree. This left her somewhat puzzled; what exactly does Carson want?

Thinking that her life had been saved by Carson, Spencer Steele then let go of her concerns.

Anyway, she just needed to follow his instructions.

If he wants the map, she will give it to him.

If he wants her, she would belong to him too!

He’s so capable and also handsome; it’s not a loss!

Carson Flores naturally couldn’t guess the girl’s thoughts, or he might have chosen to clarify things to prevent any wild thoughts.

Continuing their journey, they finally arrived at a city near Eastflow Cave.

Finding an inn, Carson Flores continued to close himself in purification, ceasing only the day before the Eastflow Cave Master’s birthday celebration.

In six months’ time, Carson Flores had re-purified all the Sword Bones in his body. Now, his bones were jet-black and shiny, exuding a metallic luster. At the moment, he had the power to withstand any magical treasure directly, yet this was imperceptible from the outside.

Carson Flores’s body was his most formidable weapon!

The next morning, Carson Flores put on a brand new white Magic Robe, looking every inch the scion of a distinguished family with a graceful demeanor.

”Let’s go celebrate the birthday and you can enjoy a good meal,” he said.

Spencer Steele nodded obediently: ”Okay.”

Carson Flores smiled and said, ”For now, your identity is my maiden.”

”Yes, Master.”

Carson Flores corrected, ”Like the others, just call me Peak Master.”

”Yes, Peak Master!”

Spencer Steele didn’t ask any superfluous questions and simply obeyed obediently.

She had already given up on trying to uncover Carson Flores’s identity. In the half-year since they met, he had made no demands on her, only throwing her a bunch of Sword Scriptures to kill time, he said.

Aside from cultivating, she devoted herself to trying to understand those Sword Scriptures, but Carson Flores never tested her on them, which made her feel somewhat disappointed, as if she had been forsaken and wasn’t valued anymore.

The Eastflow Cave didn’t rank as a top-tier Sect, and its disciples weren’t numerous, but the name of the Eastflow Ancestor was still quite notable.

The entire Eastflow Mountain was festively decorated, with guests coming and going in a bustling scene.

Carson Flores, accompanied by Spencer Steele, landed in White Jade Plaza on the mountainside of Eastflow Mountain. Here, Eastflow Cave disciples were welcoming the guests, led by the Senior Disciple of the Eastflow Ancestor himself, Blaze Rollins.

”Esteemed Daoist, welcome! May I ask where you hail from?”

Carson Flores greeted with a smile, ”Carson Flores of the White Crane Immortal Sect has come to extend birthday greetings to the Ancestor.”

Blaze Rollins’ face brightened with a cordial smile, ”So you are a friend from the White Crane Immortal Sect, how thoughtful! I am Blaze Rollins, the Senior Disciple of the Ancestor. Please, Daoist Flores, come this way.”

A disciple of Eastflow Cave guided Carson Flores towards the birthday feast hall. As they proceeded, an exclamation of surprise suddenly came from nearby.

”It’s you!”

Carson Flores turned his head to see a lady in palace attire staring at him with a mix of surprise and animosity in her eyes.

Carson Flores was also quite astonished; wasn’t she one of the pursuers after Spencer Steele? How had he run into her again here?

The lady in palace attire was not alone; she was accompanied by a middle-aged man whose imposing aura suggested considerable strength.

Spencer Steele tensed up all of a sudden.

When Carson Flores reported his identity at the gateway, she had learned that he was a disciple of the White Crane Immortal Sect.

The White Crane Immortal Sect was one of the powerful and historical Sects on the Skyland Continent. However, considering Carson’s youth, he was likely a disciple of the most recent generation of the Sect. Could he protect her?
