The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1398: Chapter 1398: My opinion? It’s to wait a bit longer.

”You needn’t worry about having nowhere to go; I’ve even had Kelvin James join the White Crane Immortal Sect. Although all of you possess the strength of a Demi Immortal, though not true Human Immortals, becoming First-generation Disciples is completely within your reach. With the identity of disciples from the White Crane Immortal Sect, you will no longer be rootless drifters...”

Carson Flores didn’t have much affection for Kelvin James, but he was much nicer to the four of them; after all, they truly helped him with many matters.

However, the four of them were very determined, unanimously wishing to follow Carson Flores.

Carson Flores generally understood their thoughts. Becoming disciples of the White Crane Immortal Sect, their status as Demi Immortals was quite awkward; neither high nor low, and without any opportunities, their lives would remain the same. Clinging to life for another couple thousand years would only bring them to their end.

Currently, he was the Master of Heavenly Sword Peak, a peer of the Supreme Elders, holding a weighty identity within the White Crane Immortal Sect with boundless prospects for the future. Plus, there was the prior bond of master and servant. Between following him and being a regular First-generation Disciple, did they even need to choose?

Any smart person would know how to choose!

Carson Flores thought for a moment and said, ”If you want to stay, that’s fine. How about this: you join as First-generation Disciples of the White Crane Immortal Sect, but you will reside at Heavenly Sword Peak, considering yourselves as people of my Heavenly Sword Peak. You don’t need to address me as ’Great Uncle-Master’; just ’Peak Master’ will suffice. As for seniority with others, let it be as it should.”

As the Master of Heavenly Sword Peak, Carson Flores naturally had the authority to decide whether to accept people into Heavenly Sword Peak or not. It wasn’t ideal to leave these four elsewhere, so he might as well take them in himself.

As for the issue of seniority, he was a special case by nature and couldn’t possibly grant them the same privilege. Thus, giving them the status of First-generation Disciples was very fitting for their age and strength.

Princess Hail and the others had no objections, as long as they could follow Carson Flores.

Carson Flores was their opportunity!

By seizing this opportunity and striving hard, maybe one day they might stand a chance to become true Human Immortals and not remain as these half-baked Demi Immortals, awkwardly straddling different levels?

Demi Immortals created by Immortal Origin Pills might be formidable in the Barbaric Wilderness Realm, but in the Immortal Realm, even those at the Hollow Void or Divinity Transformation stage would probably look down on them in their hearts.

Princess Hail promptly gave a respectful fist salute: ”Thank you, Peak Master!”

Carson Flores waved his hand, ”A salute will do, no need to kneel.”

”Understood!”

Soon, the four were inducted into the White Crane Immortal Sect, received their Magic Robes and Tokens among other items, and finally followed Carson Flores to Heavenly Sword Peak.

Carson Flores pointed out an open space on the mountainside: ”Build your houses there, and that will be where you live from now on. Engage in your cultivation practices when you’re free, and I will send you a message if there’s anything.”

”Understood!”

The four were clear about their status; they joined the White Crane Immortal Sect and received the identity of First-generation Disciples just to minimize unnecessary troubles. In reality, their status was as subordinates of Carson Flores, and they would act only upon his commands.

After arranging things for the four, Carson Flores turned and headed to Lance Matthews’s Cave Mansion.

”Sect Master, are you there?”

Lance Matthews came out and invited Carson Flores into the Cave Mansion.

”Little Uncle-Master, with a year in secluded cultivation, you must have had substantial gains, right?”

Carson Flores smiled and said, ”I’ve advanced a stage.”

Lance Matthews’s eyes lit up: ”One stage in a year, that’s a very fast pace.”

Carson Flores replied, ”It’s all thanks to the Misty Moon Peaches, nothing noteworthy. I’m here to inquire about the results of the conference you attended last time?”

Lance Matthews smiled, ”As you’ve said, the Supreme Heaven Sect pushed all matters onto Angelina Newman, which is actually the truth since she was the one in charge at the time, making all the decisions. Then there was a fight, and no one gained the upper hand. But in front of all the sects present, the Supreme Heaven Sect did lose face...”

Without waiting for Carson Flores to continue inquiring, Lance Matthews proactively brought up the Soul Separation Technique, ”I’ve asked around many sects, and it seems that there is a sect called the Spirit-Separation Sect on the Dragon Spirit Continent, which specializes in Divine Spirit. Even their offensive techniques are often aimed at Divine Spirits, and it is said their sect masters the Soul Separation Technique.”

Carson Flores’s eyes shone brightly; he came to Lance Matthews to find out whether there was any news about the Soul Separation Technique, and now he had received some promising news.

”The Dragon Spirit Continent? Where is that?”

According to Carson Flores’s understanding, changing continents was equivalent to changing planets, which would undoubtedly mean a great distance.

Lance Matthews answered, ”The Dragon Spirit Continent is next to the Skyland Continent, basically neighbors. If you want to go to the Dragon Spirit Continent, you would need to go to Heavenly River City in the Extreme East of the Skyland Continent, then pass through a teleportation gate to reach the Dragon Spirit Continent. However, I’ve heard that the Spirit-Separation Sect is very secretive. The person who told me about them only heard of their existence and doesn’t know their exact location or details.”

Carson Flores was already very satisfied with this. Considering the distance separated by an entire continent, expecting others to know a lot about it was unreasonable. Knowing that such a sect existed was already quite an achievement.

”Little Uncle-Master, are you planning to head to the Dragon Spirit Continent now?”

Carson Flores was indecisive in his heart: ”What do you think?”

Lance Matthews suggested, ”Little Uncle-Master, if you were to ask for my advice, it would be best to wait a bit longer. I’ve heard that the Dragon Spirit Continent is currently in the throes of a great war, which is quite unstable. Although your Combat Power far surpasses that of a Human Immortal, traveling there alone is unsafe...”
