The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 1397: Chapter 1397: Me too!

Carson Flores was very calm.

Being famous was nothing new to him; after all, he had been a Human Emperor, the supreme ruler of an entire realm.

Fame had its advantages and disadvantages, but with the vast expanse of the Immortal Domains and countless cultivators, if you didn’t announce your name, who would even know who you are?

Beneath the Thunder Immortal Realm, there are many continents, each existing independently, but there are Teleportation Arrays between continents that allow for direct travel.

After spending three months in the Scripture Pavilion, Carson knew the Immortal Domains well. Simply put, an Immortal Domain is like a galaxy, and the continents that people talk about are actually planets. They interact with each other but exist as relatively independent entities.

”Oh, right, your servants have already been brought to the White Crane Immortal Sect. Since we didn’t know how you wanted to settle them, we temporarily placed them in the guest area.”

Carson’s eyes lit up slightly, and he rose from his chair: ”Then I should go take a look.”

It’s not that Carson was particularly concerned about them, but they had previously been with his family. He wanted to find out about his family’s situation and also the current state of the Barbaric Wilderness Realm.

Carson leaped up and quickly arrived at the guest area.

Carson soon met Franklin Wyatt, Princess Hail, and others. Upon seeing Carson, their eyes brightened and they excitedly knelt down on one knee.

”Boss!”

Carson replied with a smile: ”Get up, no need to be so formal.”

The five people gazed at Carson with eyes full of heat, gratitude, and admiration.

Carson really did what he promised. It hadn’t been that long, but he had actually brought them all to the Immortal Realm!

After arriving here, they heard the legend of Carson Flores.

He faced more than twenty Late Human Immortals or Peak Human Immortals alone, besting a group single-handedly and slaying a Peak True Immortal with one strike. Such feats were indeed shocking.

In less than two years of entering the Immortal Realm, Carson had transformed into the Master of the Heavenly Sword Peak of White Crane Immortal Sect, Sect Master’s junior uncle, and the peer of numerous Supreme Elders.

Carson asked: ”Tell me about the situation down below.”

Stella Rios replied with utmost respect: ”Your family is all safe and sound, living peacefully and cultivating, Boss. Your master and three senior fellows have been devoted to comprehending the Emperor Sovereign Scripture, seeking their final advancement, preparing for Ascension together.”

Carson breathed a sigh of relief: ”What about the Demon Emperor?”

Princess Hail answered: ”Since your Ascension, the Demon Emperor has been in seclusion and has not emerged to this day...”

Carson frowned, what was he waiting for?

Never mind, let him be. Whether he Ascends or not is his business. Speaking of which, Carson was somewhat worried the Demon Emperor might fail his Ascension and be annihilated.

”How is the Barbaric Wilderness Realm now?”

Princess Hail responded: ”Everything is in order. The Immortals of White Crane Immortal Sect once came down to the realm and set some regulations. For the sake of Ascension, who would dare not follow? The strongest ones are obedient, so of course the rest wouldn’t cause trouble. Now, the Human Race and Demon Race live in harmony.”

Carson chuckled: ”That’s pretty much what I expected. When everyone can Ascend, who would bother fighting to the death? Besides, with Immortals descending at any time, even if you win, what’s the point? One move from them could overturn everything, and it would all be for nothing.”

Carson’s gaze swept over the few people, and then he took the initiative to release the True Souls of Princess Hail and the others, breaking their master-servant contract.

”I’ve dissolved our contract. From now on, you are free.”

Carson’s gaze rested on Kelvin James: ”I won’t dissolve your contract. You were never a good person to begin with; that body of yours was obtained through forceful possession. But since I took you in at the beginning, killing you now would seem callous.”

”You’ll stay in the White Crane Immortal Sect as a First-generation Disciple. Start over and live anew. If you do not change your ways and continue to do evil, then I will simply destroy you.”

Kelvin James’ forehead beaded with sweat, but his heart finally relaxed. He had been on tenterhooks these days, but now this shoe had finally dropped.

Although he was not granted freedom, he was given the identity of a First-generation Disciple of White Crane Immortal Sect and a chance to start anew. Carson had indeed shown extreme mercy and righteousness.

Kelvin James knelt on one knee: ”Thank you, Boss, for your magnanimity in sparing my life. I will definitely reform and lead a good life.”

Carson waved his hand dismissively: ”Go on, then.”

Kelvin James expressed his thanks again and stood up to leave.

Franklin Wyatt, Princess Hail, Stella Rios, and Heath Wells looked at each other, never expecting that Carson would dissolve their contracts upon meeting, returning their freedom.

Without any hesitation, Stella Rios knelt down on one knee and bowed: ”Boss, I admit that initially I followed you because I was compelled by the contract. But you are a rare man in this world, Boss. Following you has convinced me completely. Even without the contract, I hope to continue following you.”

Princess Hail knelt down crisply: ”We are like rootless ducksweed in the Immortal Realm, with nowhere to go. I am willing to become your subordinate or servant, at your disposal without any complaints, just to have a place to stay.”

Franklin Wyatt and Heath Wells exchanged a glance and quickly followed suit, kneeling down on one knee and bowing.

”The same goes for me!”
