The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 938: Chapter 938 The Transformation of the True Dragon

Carson Flores poured the True Dragon’s Blood into a specially made round barrel, then stripped off his clothes and stepped directly into the barrel, soaking his body in the True Dragon’s Blood.

The True Dragon’s Blood contained pure Immortal Spiritual Force, which was a more pure and essential energy than Spiritual Energy.

The moment Carson stepped in, he felt a surge of energy madly pouring into him from every pore. The energy was so violent that Carson felt as if his body was about to explode.

Carson’s body endured an extremely immense pressure. If he hadn’t been of the Sword Bone Body, he would have probably been crushed by this tremendous pressure.

It was a terrifying energy storm!

Carson’s pores oozed fresh blood due to the immense pressure, his muscles tensed as if they were about to snap, and his bones crackled loudly.

Carson clenched his teeth and frantically absorbed the vast energy that flooded his body, directing it into his meridians and then into his Dantian. The energy flowed through his Nascent Soul with each inhalation and exhalation, circulating throughout his body to form a rapidly moving internal cycle.

With each cycle, the True Dragon’s Blood seeped a bit more into Carson’s body. The blood merged into his veins, infused into his tendons and bones, and into his marrow, gradually changing his body.

As time passed, Carson’s body showed more and more red bloodlines. These thin spiderweb-like lines spread gradually over his entire skin, making his capillaries seem externally visible, which was quite terrifying.

Carson kept his eyes closed, oblivious to everything. He was only focused on frantically absorbing the energy entering his body, madly circulating, madly absorbing, and madly integrating it into every part of himself.

This bath lasted half a month.

The originally dark red True Dragon’s Blood had now turned light red. The intense pain and feeling of exploding had vanished, replaced only by boundless strength in his body.

Carson inspected his body internally and was surprised to find that each of his bones had turned a dark red, marked with blood-red fine lines wrapping around them, omnipresent.

His muscles had become even tighter, his tendons even more resilient and powerful, and even the blood flowing in his body seemed to have a hint of dark gold.

What shocked Carson the most was that the color of the Nascent Soul in his Dantian had also changed, from purple to blood red. The Nascent Soul took on an indescribable aura, ethereal, seemingly transcendent and otherworldly.

The aura of a True Dragon?

The aura of an Immortal?

Carson was puzzled and ended his internal inspection.

Opening his eyes, Carson noticed his skin was also flushed red, with countless tiny red bloodlines covering his entire body. However, they were so fine that from a distance, his skin just appeared to be red.

Would he remain like this forever?

From a handsome young man to a red-faced brute?

Carson wasn’t too concerned about that. He walked out of the room to an open area, picked up a few metal blocks used to test the strength of Sword Bones, and easily deformed them with a squeeze as if they were clay. With just a poke, a hole appeared on the metal instantly.

Carson was astonished. Although he had been able to do this before, it had never been with such ease. His strength, hardness, and reflexes in every aspect had increased by leaps and bounds.

Before, refining Sword Bones and tempering Sword Bones meant just focusing on the bones. His muscles and tendons were no different from those of an average Cultivator. But now, Carson had undergone a complete transformation, unrecognizable from his former self!

Too exhilarating!

Carson tossed out three members of the Demon Race, fed each one a cup of True Dragon’s Blood, and then threw the Vine Demon, Josy, directly into what had been his ”bathing water.”

”True Dragon’s Blood, digest it slowly. I also want to see what kind of changes you’ll undergo...” he said.

Dragon and Logan Moss’s eyes quickly reddened as if they were drunk, collapsing immediately. The Vine Demon soaking in the blood water crazily grew vines, which although emerald green, also began showing countless bloodlines within, creating an eerie appearance.

Carson let them absorb it on their own while he consumed the Dragon Blood Pill and began his Cultivation.

The Dragon Blood Pill quickly transformed into endless Spiritual Power, which carried a hint of the True Dragon’s aura.

In the Dantian, the blood red Nascent Soul started to frantically absorb, undergoing changes bit by bit.

For a Cultivator, there are no days or months. Carson sat for half a year.

In half a year, Carson consumed all the Dragon Blood Pills, and his strength rapidly climbed by two minor stages, reaching Nascent Soul Great Perfection.

This rate of advancement was rarely seen in the world.

Carson opened his eyes, feeling the invisible barrier that came with the bottleneck. After hesitating for a moment, he decided against using the Enlightenment Fruit directly.

In that moment, he understood why Samantha Tate had refused to continue using it.

Directionless!

No path at all!

Not to mention touching the gate that led to the higher realm, there wasn’t even a hint of direction.

Three Enlightenment Fruits were not enough!

Maybe he needed to wait until he had some sort of insight, a vague feeling of that gate, and then use the Enlightenment Fruit to give him a boost, maybe then he would be able to surge through in one go and Breakthrough.

For now, he would take it slow and search for that feeling...
