The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 915: Chapter 915: Slaying

”Be careful, she’s trying to take over your body!”

Carson Flores understood the little girl’s intention instantly and loudly warned Lilianna Norman.

The little girl’s solid body had been crushed by him; now, she was like a wisp of light smoke, fragile and weak. Despite her strength, her damaged body prevented her from using her powers, so her priority was to find a stable body that wouldn’t collapse.

Carson didn’t know the conditions for possession, but the opponent had just mentioned it, even acting as if she could choose from anyone present, clearly indicating she was prepared and confident.

Violeta Herrera’s expression was cold as she watched the rapidly approaching black light.

Just as the black light neared, suddenly, a white bead the size of a fist appeared in front of her, enveloped by swirling white mist.

The white bead suddenly emitted a strong white light that enveloped Violeta Herrera, and when the light splashed onto the black light, the black light was directly frozen in mid-air.

Carson was thrilled; worthy of the Demon Race Holy Maiden, she indeed had plenty of good things on her.

”Soul Settling Bead!”

Kash Lam whispered in shock, ”This magical treasure is incredibly effective on the Primordial Spirit, she came prepared indeed.”

The white light continued to converge on the Soul Settling Bead, constantly falling on the black light, which seemed to evaporate like wisps of black smoke rising outward.

The black light trembled violently, and the little girl’s agonized wails echoed in the air.

Carson’s eyes gleamed, seeing this, it seemed that if this continued, the fragmented Primordial Spirit of the True Dragon might be completely eradicated, vanishing into dust!

The next second, a mighty roar of a dragon suddenly filled the air.

Lilianna Norman bore the brunt, her face turned pale instantly, and she was sent flying.

The Soul Settling Bead hovered above Lilianna Norman’s head, moving away from the black light, and as the white light moved away, the black light reverted to the appearance of the little girl.

This time, her figure was even more tenuous, almost transparent.

She was even weaker now.

The little girl’s eyes filled with resentment, she hadn’t expected Violeta Herrera to have a magical treasure specifically against the Primordial Spirit.

If it were her earlier state, she wouldn’t need to fear at all; she could have dispatched Lilianna Norman with a slap, but Carson’s actions had destroyed her body completely.

A fragmented Primordial Spirit, like a wandering soul, how could it resist the Soul Settling Bead?

Unfortunately, her power had already diminished greatly; even though she desperately tried to emit a dragon cry, it no longer held the power it did before, and even Lilianna Norman, who was close by, only got injured, let alone anyone else.

Although Violeta Herrera was injured, the Soul Settling Bead still hovered above her head, the white light still protecting her body.

The little girl’s gaze shifted to Bryant James not far away; Bryant’s expression hardened as he pulled out a horn-shaped magical treasure, aiming it at the little girl.

The little girl hesitated for a moment, not daring to approach.

Bryant James was powerful, and if his magical treasure was like the Soul Settling Bead, another attempt by her would probably spell her doom.

She turned to glance at Carson Flores, her eyes brimming with immense hatred.

She transformed into a streak of black light again, shooting towards Carson.

Although Carson possessed the Emperor Seal, he hadn’t demonstrated any power from the Emperor Seal just then, indicating he couldn’t activate it.

Carson merely possessed the Emperor Seal, but he wasn’t yet truly the master of the Emperor Seal—he hadn’t received its acknowledgment; he wasn’t the Human Emperor yet!

To steal his body, to possess the Emperor Seal!

Carson was startled, irritation surged within him in an instant. Lilianna Norman didn’t work, you targeted Bryant James, so why come after me?

I’m merely made of Sword Bone, which is acquired; I’m nothing special!

Carson didn’t have the Soul Settling Bead, nor did he have experience dealing with possession by Primordial Spirits; he could only watch helplessly as the black light shot towards his forehead.

It’s over!

However, at that moment, the Emperor Seal floated up by itself again.

Just as the black light was a mere three inches from his forehead, the Emperor Seal gently trembled.

”Dang!”

Like a resonant, majestic bell, the black light instantly froze in mid-air.

An invisible force restrained the black light; it trembled and struggled, attempting to escape, but it couldn’t break free from the restraining power.

The tiny Emperor Seal floated up lightly and then gently pressed down towards the black light.

Silent and effortless, much like a common person stamping a seal on paper, the Emperor Seal pressed onto the black light.

Pitiful dragon cries echoed through the air, then the black light completely collapsed, disintegrating visibly, and disappeared.

The Emperor Seal, as if having done a trivial thing, floated down lightly and fell back into Carson Flores’s palm.

All eyes were focused on the Emperor Seal and then on Carson, their expressions strange.

The Emperor Seal had actually moved!

This time, it certainly wasn’t Carson using it to hit someone by relying on its ”rebound” damage; it truly demonstrated its power, directly obliterating the soul of the True Dragon, vanishing into nothingness.

Throughout the cavern, all was silent for a time, until Kash Lam suddenly burst into laughter.

”Haha, we’ve slain the dragon! We’ve survived...”
