Three Towers Game

Chapter 424: Chapter 136: Arrival at the Orange Vortex_5

Due to its chaotic nature, the devouring trajectory of this vortex does not follow usual theories.

Maybe people don’t even need to stand under the vortex to be sucked in.

Without a doubt, this is the most malignant existence within the orange vortex.

”If we don’t resolve this vortex... I’m afraid it might evolve from orange to another color, right?”

If the entire second layer is now like Van Gogh’s starry night...

Then in the twisted vortex above the night sky, the speed of this vortex’s expansion is visible to the naked eye.

If this vortex is left unchecked, the entire second layer might eventually be devoured.

Within a short period, 145 people have already been devoured, and the number is continuously increasing.

[Seal Chamber of Evil Entities. Level - Orange.]

[Recommended Anti-Magic Value: 50 points.]

[Recommended number of participants: 30-300 people.]

[Brief Information: Legend has it that a woman with unparalleled charm existed and no one could resist her allure. But it all stemmed from her shoes. Those shoes granted her supreme charm.

She was the first owner of the shoes. Wherever she walked, countless people knelt, wishing to kiss her toes. She could easily make men, and even women, die just to kiss the surface of her shoes.

With those shoes, she gained supreme charm and supreme status. But as a result, she constantly felt that her shoes weren’t clean.

No matter how the surface shimmered, reflecting her face, she always felt they were dirty.

No cleaning agent seemed to make her feel completely satisfied with the cleanliness of her shoes.

Until one day, she discovered a method of maintaining the shoes, causing the population of the country to start crazily diminishing...]

[Additional Information: This vortex belongs to a special level of the Deceit Tower. Completing it based on a rating higher than level five completeness will reward equivalent level completion prizes during traversal of the corresponding Deceit Tower.]

Seal Chamber of Evil Entities...

This name reminded Wen Xishu of the ”Mental Hospital Museum” used for appraising.

However, clearly this is different from appraising. If the Mental Hospital Museum had a personality, a vortex’s personality should also be lawful. Lawful good, stable.

But it’s evident that this Seal Chamber of Evil Entities, from its mission description to the current vortex manifestation, is filled with evil.

This is also the first time Wen Xishu encountered a mission recommending thirty to three hundred participants.

”What kind of vortex must this be? The strangest part is, this vortex... doesn’t have a noted level? Belongs to the special level of the Deceit Tower?”

Wen Xishu never thought there was even talk of ”special level.”

At this point, Xiaojin said:

”My grandpa once said that some levels will ’upgrade’, as the inherent difficulty of the level is deceitful...”

”Even the ’Three Towers’ might not be entirely accurate, so some levels will present a ’specific level’ post-major devouring. Once the major devouring finishes, they’ll upgrade.”

Who is Xiaojin’s grandpa? This was Yue Yun’s first reaction.

Wen Xishu knew who it was, so he didn’t doubt the authenticity of Xiaojin’s words.

Wen Xishu exclaimed...

Could it be there’s competition among the vortices involving major devouring? Some vortices are content with their respective levels, considering their difficulty matches the levels...

Thus, their disposition is stable, good, and lawful.

Other vortices think differently, hence being aggressive and evil, crazily devouring?

This is the first time he faced such a situation.

But as the saying goes, the more special it is, the richer the rewards.

Wen Xishu said:

”Initially, I thought... the recommended number of participants for all vortices wouldn’t exceed ten, but this time I see the starting point at a hundred. Our team seems insufficient.”

”However, this vortex has already absorbed more than a hundred people, and these hundred people won’t all die just upon entry...”

”So now we’re dealing with a very terrifying vortex as it has made our teammates unreliable.”

Yue Yun and the others understood Wen Xishu’s meaning.

If it’s just the current small team of six, everyone’s trust in each other can be assured...

But the upcoming small team... no, the entire team, will total more than a hundred people.

Wen Xishu’s reputation might intimidate these hundred people, but with a large base number, the variables increase accordingly.

A small gesture from someone might lead the team into danger.

This vortex is too uncontrollable.

Wen Xishu said:

”Personally, I’m planning to go for it... but whether you go depends on your own decision.”

”The vortex has already absorbed more than a hundred people, theoretically... I’m not lacking teammates.”

Ah Miao said:

”In other words... this time’s mission essentially means you don’t have teammates. Those hundred plus people are ordinary individuals, untrained, emotionally unstable when facing danger.”

”Ah Shu, take me along, I think you’ll need me. If... if there’s a risk requiring someone to test... at least I’m willing. Others might not be.”

Yue Yun was slightly moved; this was almost bluntly saying... I’m willing to die for you...

What did Wen Xishu do to make this girl entrust her life?

But Yue Yun himself didn’t retreat:

”So am I.”

Zheng Zai raised his hand:

”Brother, so am I!”

Nissen naturally didn’t shrink back:

”If I join this vortex... will I become a Bunker hero?”

Xiaojin whispered:

”Brother Nissen, if this vortex is eliminated, I’ll ask my grandpa to look after you!”

Nissen didn’t understand the weight of this promise, just felt extremely excited:

”Oh oh oh! I can’t wait to set off!”
