Three Towers Game

Chapter 406: Chapter 133 The Correct Thing to Do Beyond Slaughter_5

This was Wen Xishu’s approach to breaking the deadlock, providing the Mage with some insight.

And the Mage’s methods also inspired Wen Xishu; perhaps there was something even more important than breaking the deadlock through killing, though he had no concrete idea of what that might be.

The simulation ended here, and Wen Xishu’s journey in the Desire Tower was also coming to an end at this moment.

”Oh dear, I forgot to mention, if you can’t win, you can escape Hujiang and head to Wind City...”

”Never mind, I guess Master Lingqing wouldn’t leave Hujiang either.”

As Wen Xishu’s thoughts shifted, the scene around him began to change.

He returned to the Deceit Tower once again and saw that room, but this time, the game’s content had completely changed.

...

...

Deceit Tower, forty-second floor, Rokkasho.

The room covered in Child-Banning Talismans appeared before Wen Xishu.

[After many choices, you have found another room. But do humans live in this room? If so, can you get them to open the door for you?]

[The radiated moon will appear soon, and the thick fog will dissipate... your time is running out. Please find the room before the ”Moon High” time comes. Remaining attempts: 5.]

Wen Xishu knew from this hint that his gameplay had completely changed.

”Holy cow, I’ve gone from being someone who opens the door to someone who knocks on the door?”

Wen Xishu began to carefully search through his memories, discovering that the game’s gameplay had undergone a drastic change.

The original gameplay was about deciding whether to open the door or not and surviving in the room for seven days.

The current gameplay is about searching for a room and requesting to be let in...

Only one room is the correct one.

In other words, all other rooms are occupied by monsters.

But if you enter a monster’s room, don’t be afraid; the monster will verify whether you are a human... this process takes time.

Because in the monsters’ cognition, all humans live in the safest house.

Every night, there will be a ”Moon High” time. Moon High means the moonlight becomes extremely intense.

And being exposed to the moonlight for too long... will turn you into a monster.

Once you become a monster, you can no longer return to the bunker; you will forever become part of this place.

This is a kind of mechanism for smuggling into the Three Towers from the bunker, but no one would want to do it because once you become a monster, you lose your memory, and your cognitive abilities decrease.

So, bunker players have seven days here... The game begins with bunker players in a dark cave.

At night, players can choose to go out before the Moon High time arrives and search for a room.

Those who open the door for you, or do not open the door, could both be monsters. Players need to determine whether the occupants of the room are humans or monsters.

Additionally, if players enter a monster’s room, they must find a way to disguise themselves as a monster, to avoid being discovered by the monster.

The luckiest players can find a human room on the first night before Moon High time arrives, ending the game...

But such luck is one in a million.

And as players repeatedly enter the wrong rooms... it also accumulates their chances of encountering the correct room.

This is the new survival game.

”It seems this time the Deceit Tower will not drop levels... Rokkasho truly lives up to its name, even though a few core monsters are missing, changing the gameplay still makes the death difficulty very high.”

Wen Xishu recalled that in the old version, the night was safe, and the day was dangerous.

In the current version, the night is only safe during the ”Moon Low” phase. If you don’t find a room to enter during the ”Moon High” phase, the game ends.

Both daytime and nighttime are unsafe.

”Does this mean... the radiation has deepened? Has some kind of inhuman policy been enacted in Hujiang?”

”Moreover, the chance of finding the correct room in this game is minimal. Simply put, it’s almost impossible to get it right in one go.”

”So, you must enter the wrong room, which means the room inhabited by monsters, and forcibly disguise yourself as a monster...”

”This difficulty actually feels... slightly harder than my previous version?”

In the previous version, at least those seven people could check and balance each other.

In this version, in the monster’s household, there should be no such balance.

”Interesting. The Mage’s departure has completely changed the gameplay.”

”However, I have already survived three nights... In other words, I haven’t encountered the correct room for two nights in the new version.”

”So logically speaking, my chances of finding the correct room have significantly increased.”

Wen Xishu started pondering on the recent hint—

[After many choices, you have found another room. But do humans live in this room? If so, can you get them to open the door for you?]

”Even if I find the correct room, I still need to make humans believe that I am human... I guess taking off my pants won’t work.”

Wen Xishu stopped overthinking and walked forward.

The only thing he could see into the room through was the peephole, so after he knocked...

The people in the room also observed him through the peephole.

”Turn around.”

A voice came from inside the room.

This scene... really seemed familiar; Wen Xishu obediently turned around.

He missed an old principal’s tool—a forgotten key.

”Take off your pants, and your clothes too.”

Actually, it wasn’t much of a deal, just take them off, what was it compared to life and death?

But Wen Xishu quickly realized...

there was a problem here, if the people inside were monsters, then once you stripped...

they would know you were human.

As a result, once you entered the room, you could not disguise yourself as a monster.
