Incredible Insight: Toy Factory Discovers Swarm Drones

Chapter 481 A Surprise Attack! QR Codes Flying Through the SkySomewhere in the Middle East.

Inside a hidden underground command post.

The raging sandstorm outside was completely sealed off by thick blast-proof walls. A few incandescent lamps emitted a slightly dim, yellowish glow, stretching the shadows of the figures inside the room.

The air was somewhat heavy.

The bald leader was full of anxiety, pacing back and forth in front of the sand table.

After circling a few times, he stopped, ripped the windproof scarf off his head, and slammed it heavily onto the table.

He looked at the man sitting in the main seat.

”Brother Hassan, what exactly is the plan?”

”The brothers on the front line just sent back news that Country A has completely changed its strategy this time.”

”They have deployed a large number of drones, abandoning high-altitude reconnaissance to fly specifically right above the ground.”

”At this oblique shooting angle, the things we drew on the ground simply cannot fool their lenses!”

The bald leader’s voice carried unconcealable urgency.

Once these words were spoken, the leaders of the armed groups standing around also chimed in.

”That’s right, we finally managed to catch a breath thanks to those painting machines.”

”If they check like this, all the fake targets will be eliminated.”

”Won’t the real ones left behind be bombed again?”

Everyone was as anxious as ants on a hot pan.

Under everyone’s expectant and anxious gaze, Hassan remained calm and composed.

He even picked up the enamel tea mug in front of him, blew on the tea leaves floating on top, and took a leisurely sip of the warm water.

His fingers tapped lightly on the table, making a rhythmic ”tap, tap” sound.

Not until everyone’s emotions were stretched to the breaking point did Hassan put down the tea mug, no longer keeping them in suspense.

”No need to panic.”

After standing up, he strode over to the huge topographical map.

He picked up a long, thin wooden stick and pointed it at a marker for an empty Gobi desert area.

”Since they want to see the ground clearly, we will give them plenty to see.”

Immediately, Hassan began to speak, explaining the step he had just figured out in a calm and unhurried manner.

The wooden stick traced several rising curves on the map.

Ten minutes later, the entire secret base gradually fell into silence.

Even the sound of breathing became barely audible, leaving only the buzzing of the exhaust fans in the ventilation ducts.

All the leaders stood where they were, their eyes widening.

Their brains were spinning rapidly, frantically digesting this camouflage and counter-attack tactic that could only be described as magical.

In the minds of these Middle Eastern men who were accustomed to holding rifles and shooting at each other in the Gobi desert for years, war was simply the pouring out of firepower.

But just now, Hassan told them to use a batch of balloons printed with special square patterns to intercept the expensive, cutting-edge reconnaissance drones of Country A.

As long as the drone’s scanning lens captured that pattern called a ”QR code”… it completely subverted their common sense.

The bald leader swallowed a mouthful of dry saliva, feeling a tingle in his heart.

”My Allah…” he muttered to himself, ”So this is how war can be fought?”

The bearded leader also took a deep breath, his previously furrowed brows completely smoothing out. In their place was unconcealable ecstasy.

”Brilliant!”

”As long as their drones fly over to scan the ground.”

”The balloons in mid-air simply cannot avoid being captured by the lenses!”

”Once they scan it, their control systems they are so proud of will turn into a pile of scrap metal!”

Having figured this out, the panic that had permeated the command post was swept away.

A moment later, the leaders looked at each other, their eyes full of admiration.

Everyone raised their hands and gave Hassan a thumbs up.

They even gave a thumbs up toward the direction of the East, to that mysterious and unseen Factory Director Li.

Listening to the praise of his allies, Hassan turned around and threw the wooden stick onto the table. His gaze became sharp.

”Time is tight.”

”Action, immediately!”

Following Hassan’s order, the entire base began to operate at high speed.

Communication officers from various armed groups constantly called the peripheral troops over the radio. Orders were passed down layer by layer.

Several trucks arrived at a certain location. Then, not long after, the soldiers on these trucks first used the automatic painting Bird-repelling machine to paint patterns of fighter jets on the designated wasteland, setting up the most perfect three-dimensional bait.

Not far from this fake airport, behind several leeward hills, another arrangement was being carried out intensively.

Dozens of huge wooden crates were forcibly pried open with crowbars. Wood chips flew everywhere, revealing bundles of rubber balloons inside.

A dozen small pickup trucks pulling high-pressure helium tanks were parked nearby.

”Connect the valves, two people per group, move fast!” The officer in charge of this area shouted his orders.

The soldiers wore rough gloves, grabbed the deflated balloons, and put them on the inflation nozzles of the gas tanks. They turned the valves.

High-pressure gas flowed through the rubber hoses into the rubber, making a sharp hissing sound.

In just a few seconds, colorful balloons quickly inflated and became round.

As the volume increased, the black and white square pattern printed on the surface of the balloon was also fully stretched out.

The QR code of the chick wallpaper was very eye-catching in the faint light before dawn.

Several young soldiers tied the seals of the balloons while curiously examining these light, floating things.

”Can this thing really deal with Country A’s drones?”

One soldier pulled the taut thin line in his hand, feeling the upward lift of the balloon getting stronger and stronger, and couldn’t help but mutter.

”It’s the leader’s order, just do it.”

The veteran next to him glared at him, his hands not idle, quickly tying the inflated balloons in strings to the ground stakes driven into the ground.

Time ticked away second by second. More and more balloons gathered behind the hills.

Thousands of balloons printed with QR codes were crowded together, looking like a large, colorful cloud.

As the sandstorm blew by, the balloons collided with each other, making a rustling friction sound.

Everything was ready. Just then, the personal radio in the command vehicle suddenly emitted a harsh static sound.

Immediately following was an urgent report and alarm from the peripheral observation post.

”Post No. 1 reporting!”

”Enemy engine sounds detected in the northwest!”

”It’s Country A’s drone formation, less than twenty kilometers away from us.”

”Altitude is extremely low!”

Hearing this intelligence, Hassan, standing on the top of the sand dune, raised his military binoculars and looked toward the northwest.

On the grey horizon, a few tiny black dots were rapidly enlarging.

That roar unique to advanced turbofan engines was gradually approaching along with the sandstorm.

Hassan lowered his binoculars, a cold sneer appearing at the corner of his mouth.

He pressed the talk button on the walkie-talkie in his hand. His tone was steady and decisive.

”Release!”

Upon receiving the order, hundreds of soldiers lurking behind the hills simultaneously drew the tactical daggers from their waists.

With a swift motion, they cleanly cut the securing ropes tied to the ground stakes.

The restraints were released. The balloons filled the sky, rising up against the strong sandstorm on the Gobi desert.

The colorful group of balloons spread out rapidly in mid-air, forming a dense, floating barrier spanning several kilometers.

Driven by the wind, the balloons rolled and swayed continuously.

The clear QR code of the chick wallpaper on the surface of the balloons was fully exposed to the windward side, quietly waiting for the low-altitude reconnaissance drones to approach.
