Incredible Insight: Toy Factory Discovers Swarm Drones

Chapter 461: The Ingenious Ground Promotion Method of Casting a Long Line to Lure the Foreign Devils!Looking at this notification on the screen, Li Jiajun put down his teacup and fell into deep thought.

Inside the office, he leaned back in his boss chair, his brows slightly furrowed.

The excitement he had felt just a moment ago from seeing the high download commission had already faded significantly.

His thoughts gradually became clear. After calming down, a very realistic promotion problem stood squarely in front of him.

The name Little Bird Wallpaper, while famous in the domestic internet circle, truly had a terrible reputation.

As one of the rogue software programs recognized by domestic Netizens, the characteristics of this thing were simply detestable.

As long as you accidentally clicked on the installation package, it would stick to you like a dog-skin plaster that you couldn’t shake off, crazily bundling a bunch of messy, unnecessary plugins in the background.

It would also forcibly hijack your browser homepage. Furthermore, the pop-up ads were pervasive. You couldn’t even find a clean file path to uninstall it.

Facing such rogue software with a reputation that had hit rock bottom, his job as a business promoter was indeed difficult to do.

’If I were to hang the download link for Little Bird Wallpaper directly in the livestream room,’ he thought, ’and then scream at the top of my lungs, urging the family to click and install it, the consequences would be unimaginable.’

The Netizens in the country were all sharp cookies. They were more than capable of arguing in the public chat, so how could they be willing to download such cancerous software?

By then, let alone earning that one-yuan-per-download commission, he would probably be scolded into a pulp by the indignant Netizens for taking such trashy business deals.

Just thinking about a screen full of barrages greeting his ancestors made Li Jiajun feel speechless.

Although he was big-hearted and thick-skinned enough, he still cared about his reputation.

What’s more, he had always painstakingly cultivated the persona of a diligent toy factory director.

If he completely ruined his reputation just to make some quick cash, wouldn’t that be losing a watermelon to pick up a sesame seed?

Li Jiajun let out a long sigh. ’Am I just going to watch this guaranteed, risk-free base slot fee slip away?’

This clearly didn’t fit his money-grubbing personality.

Just as he was racking his brain, trying to find a perfect solution that would allow him to make money without being scolded, a flash of lightning suddenly crossed his mind.

A brilliant blind spot jumped into his thoughts without any warning.

That’s it! The reputation of this Little Bird Wallpaper in the country was indeed rotten to the core. Everyone knew it was rogue software and guarded against it like a thief.

But! It wasn’t like that abroad! Those foreign devils in Country A had never experienced such a beating from the internet, with those characteristic Eastern Country forced-bundled plugins!

In the minds of those foreigners, wallpaper software was just a tool to change the desktop background. There was absolutely no defensive mindset.

As long as he promoted this thing abroad and utilized this huge information gap, wouldn’t that massive overseas sinking market be like rows of green leeks, just waiting for him to harvest the download numbers?

Having figured this out, Li Jiajun’s eyes lit up, and even his breathing became much lighter.

He immediately knew how to do this promotion for the other party.

...Just at this moment, the phone screen on the desk lit up. Accompanied by a slight vibration, the staff from Little Bird Wallpaper happened to send a message at this exact moment.

[Little Bird Wallpaper]: ”Mr. Li, you can take your time thinking about the promotion plan, there is no rush.”

Seeing this, Li Jiajun picked up his phone, his fingers flying across the virtual keyboard. He hurriedly typed a reply.

”I’ve already thought of it. I’m going to do an offline promotion and push it to foreign countries for you.”

He clicked send. ...At the same time, in the office area of a high-end office building, the business specialist from Little Bird Wallpaper was sitting upright in front of the computer screen.

The employee was holding a cup of freshly brewed instant coffee. But the next moment, when he saw Li Jiajun’s reply clearly, his brain crashed instantly.

He stared blankly at the screen, his mouth slightly open. It took a full few seconds for this staff member to recover from that state of extreme astonishment.

He put down his coffee cup, his fingers resting stiffly on the keyboard, and slowly entered a few question marks. ”？？？？？”

What the hell? Offline promotion? And pushing it to foreign countries? For a purely domestic computer wallpaper software, you are actually going to run abroad to do offline promotion?

This span is way too big! In the conventional perception of publicity in the internet industry, software promotion is nothing more than buying some traffic slots, finding a few Streamers to hang links in their livestream rooms, and shouting a few slogans.

Who would run across the ocean to do offline promotion just to promote a wallpaper software? This completely violates basic commercial common sense.

...Returning to the office at Li Family Toy Factory, Li Jiajun looked at the question marks sent by the other party on the screen. He certainly understood what the other party was thinking right now.

However, he didn’t care about this confusion at all. Li Jiajun leaned back in his chair and smiled smugly.

The offline promotion method he conceived actually sounded very simple. There was no need to hire any overseas sales team to hand out flyers on the street.

His idea was to take the corresponding download QR code for Little Bird Wallpaper, find a printing factory, and print it in large quantities on those brightly colored hydrogen balloons.

Foreigners were naturally curious. Seeing such a rare object falling from the sky with strange square patterns printed on it, if anyone had itchy hands and used their phone to scan that QR code...

Well, sorry, but the foreign phone would automatically download and install this Little Bird Wallpaper with amazing power, without any defense.

By then, all kinds of rogue behaviors like pop-up ads and homepage hijacking would take root and sprout on devices in a foreign land.

His strategy, to put it bluntly, was called using a long line to catch foreign devils. He earned the domestic promotion fee, harmed the foreign internet environment, and didn’t have to get scolded by domestic Netizens. It was simply killing three birds with one stone.

Thinking of this, Li Jiajun tapped the screen lightly and sent another message over. ”You don’t need to worry about it, the effect will definitely be top-notch.”

He said this with full confidence. In reality, he didn’t even know if this trick was actually top-notch. After all, whether the foreign devils would scan the code was an uncontrollable variable.

But these things didn’t matter. First, brag to stabilize the sponsor. After all, he had to secure this initial service fee for real.

...Inside the office building, the Little Bird Wallpaper staff member looked at this confident assurance and his mouth twitched. The employee felt speechless.

Although he felt that this promotion plan sounded unreliable, facing this top-tier Streamer who had millions of real active fans and could get any toy on the trending list, what else could he say?

He was just a business specialist working for a salary. ”Alright.” In desperation, the staff member could only type on the keyboard and reply, ”Then I’ll leave it to you, Mr. Li.”

...In the office, having settled the confirmation work with the sponsor, Li Jiajun immediately exited the current dialog box after finishing the chat with the other party, without a moment’s delay.

He turned to scroll through his WeChat contacts, looking for the key person for the next step of the action. Contact: I Am Really Not A White Cloth on the Head.

For this buyer who claimed to be an overseas farm owner on WeChat and was generous with money, Li Jiajun’s abacus had long been clicking away in his heart.

He intended to treat this batch of balloons printed with the rogue software QR code as a convenient add-on. He would let the big client who had just ordered one hundred painting machines help release them locally after receiving the goods.

With this pride in the perfect integration of resources, he quickly edited a message to explain to the other party that he intended to gift a batch of special balloons with patterns along with the goods. The message was sent successfully.

...At the same time, in the Middle East, Hassan was sitting at his desk. Having just finalized the painting machine that could paint fake crops, his tense heart had been slightly relieved.

The phone screen next to his hand suddenly lit up. He picked up the phone and opened the new message from Factory Director Li from the Eastern Country. At first, Hassan looked at the translated text on the screen.

He seemed somewhat confused by terms like ”special balloons,” ”offline promotion,” and ”release” mentioned in it. His brows were slightly furrowed.

After all, in his view, Mr. Li had long seen through his disguised identity as a farm owner. How could the other party really be asking him to release a bunch of useless balloons in the desert for some commercial promotion?

This so-called offline promotion was definitely not a real offline promotion! Hassan was conducting intense deduction in his heart.

In this war facing annihilation at any moment, the bomber formation of Country A possessed absolute air superiority. Those reconnaissance radars circling at an altitude of ten thousand meters were the Sword of Damocles hanging over their heads.

Combining this with the current predicament and looking at the word ”balloon”... then, suddenly, his eyes lit up. He understood what Li Jiajun meant.
