Hearing Fang Kang say this, Gu Xi couldn’t help but ask.

”Enemies to the death?”

Gu Xi had encountered such things before. Liu Kai of the Poisoned Lich Liu Family had faced such situations.

But that was their family’s internal conflict. For family inheritance, these things were quite common.

What kind of situation is Fang Kang facing now?

In response to Gu Xi’s question, Fang Kang shook his head.

”Yes, an enemy on the same path. I’m not afraid to tell you; we both follow the same route, aiming to seize the opportunity for advancement to Level 15.

This opportunity was provided by my teacher. Whoever reaches Level 10 first will get this chance.”

Gu Xi understood immediately; this was a matter of academy factions’ inheritance.

As for why there was only one opportunity.

Isn’t it clear?

Inheritance has only one heir.

Missing this opportunity, Fang Kang would have to change paths, or he would never reach Level 15.

Gu Xi had seen Fang Kang’s previous strength.

His potential was quite good too.

If no one sabotages him, reaching Level 15 wouldn’t be a problem, and he might even push towards Level 20.

Such things are blocking Fang Kang’s future path.

Naturally, he would feel angry.

However, observing Fang Kang’s expression, Gu Xi felt that his opponent was not weak at all.

In fact, that opponent might be lurking around Fang Kang, hindering his every approach to success.

Gu Xi’s eyes flashed as he communicated through the Eye of the Soul, ”Here’s the architectural design plan I obtained, take a look first.”

But on the surface, he said, ”Help me see if it’s real, and on the way, estimate a price, so I can put it up for sale at the auction house.”

Upon hearing Gu Xi’s words, Fang Kang understood that Gu Xi was willing to help him.

A hint of joy flashed in his eyes, but outwardly he said nothing thankful, and instead said seriously, ”Rest assured, I’m most familiar with this type of architectural design plan and won’t misjudge its price.”

So the two pretended on the surface that Fang Kang was helping with the valuation, while in reality, Fang Kang was carefully selecting the architectural design plans he wanted.

”Your architectural design plan for the Golden Tent isn’t complete; only these three plans are related to the Golden Tent.

Silver Tent, Bronze Tent, and Zenith Tent.

But what’s trained inside are some misdirected Nagas, not in line with the conventional approach.

However, I need this as a prerequisite, so it doesn’t matter.

On the contrary, your Cloud Hall architectural design plan is already branching towards different directions; look here, Nebula Hall, Dark Cloud Hall, White Cloud Hall, Lu Guang Hall. These seven different Cloud Halls represent seven different ideas.

The one that fits my needs most is Nebula Hall.

But I want the other types too.

Plus the previous three of Silver Tent, a total of ten architectural design plans.”

”No problem.”

Gu Xi didn’t expect Fang Kang to want so many in one go, but this was favorable too, as he could ask for a high price.

”My condition is, I purchase these ten, but you cannot resell them externally within five years.”

Upon hearing Fang Kang’s condition, Gu Xi chuckled.

”Alright, but it’ll cost more.”

”Considering this, what you made are handwritten copies. Without a specialist architectural designer rewriting them, these items could only be used once.

I would offer at most half the price for such items, but if you agree to a five-year delay, I’ll buy them at the price of the originals.

Three architectural design plans of the same rank as Silver Tent, plus seven of the same rank for Cloud Hall.”

Gu Xi had no objections to Fang Kang’s offer.

He was just curious if Fang Kang had so many architectural design plans at hand.

”Do you have enough money?”

”For the same rank as Silver Tent, I have enough. For the same rank as Cloud Hall, I prepared two. I thought two would be sufficient, but I didn’t expect you to have so much supply.”

”So I’m exchanging with this.”

As Fang Kang spoke, his hands moved swiftly, swapping a few architectural design plans from the stack Gu Xi had taken out.

As Gu Xi flipped through the design plans, he saw the few Fang Kang exchanged, and nodded in satisfaction.

It seemed Fang Kang had prepared well before coming.

Gu Xi was somewhat surprised by the seven Cloud Hall architectural design plans he brought out.

In other aspects, however, Fang Kang really prepared quite impressively.

[Pale Temple (Large): Using 6000 resources, 20 units of stone, 20 units of wood, 20 units of metal to build a Pale Temple (Large Building) in the city.

Upon completion, two Pale Knights can be trained weekly.

Prior construction prerequisites include a Level 2 Magic Tower (Core Building), Level 2 Blacksmith Shop (Core Building), Tomb or Tomb (Large Building), Level 2 Armory (Medium-sized Building), and Level 2 Library (Medium-sized Building).]

This Pale Temple design was the one that caught Gu Xi’s eye immediately.

It’s clearly also a design plan for training Death Knights as a replacement route.

Clearly, this is different from the current development paths of Gu Xi’s Red Knight and Cyan Knight.

Gu Xi hadn’t examined in detail how these Pale Knights were made, but one thing was certain: it could definitely be exchanged for the kind of architectural design plans like the Silver Tent that Gu Xi just offered.

The next two were not related to the Undead.

After all, Fang Kang didn’t have much Undead-related products; a Pale Temple was already his limit.

Plus, Gu Xi mentioned he had acquired a complete set of tower architectural design plans, so the most abundant items in Fang Kang’s hands could not be taken out, and he had to choose some design plans from other forces for Gu Xi.

Fortunately, Fang Kang remembered that Gu Xi was on the Undead path, so even when selecting design plans from other forces, he leaned towards the Dark, Undead direction.

[Bloody Demon Pool (Large): Using 6000 resources, 30 units of stone, and 30 units of metal to build a Bloody Demon Pool (Large Building) in the city.

Upon completion, two Bloody Giant Snakes can be trained weekly.

Before construction, prerequisites include a Level 1 Magic Tower (Core Building), Level 3 Blacksmith Shop (Core Building), Level 1 Flying Dragon Forest (Large Building), and Level 2 Armory (Medium-sized Building), and Level 1 Altar (Medium-sized Building).]

[Dark Cave (Large): Using 6000 resources, 40 units of stone, and 20 units of wood to build a Dark Cave (Large Building) in the city.

Upon completion, two Dark Giants can be trained weekly.

Before construction, prerequisites include Level 1 Magic Tower (Core Building), Level 4 Blacksmith Shop (Core Building), Level 1 Cliff Eagle’s Nest (Large Building), Level 2 Armory (Medium-sized Building), and Level 2 Slaughterhouse (Medium-sized Building).]
