——————————

Compared to the Illusion Magic Wand already in Gu Xi’s hand, this Titan Slayer seems determined not to give its user a good chance to survive.

Other Purple Armor items are controlled by people, but this Titan Slayer clearly chooses its wielder.

Moreover, with the increasing number of Titans it kills, it’s probably getting harder to find a suitable candidate.

However, Gu Xi is not worried about these things.

Placing the Titan Slayer on the ground, he pondered whether to make this weapon a wieldable item.

But after thinking it over, Gu Xi gave up on this idea.

It’s clear that the Titan Slayer is a weapon highly specialized in its function.

Unless specifically dealing with Titans or giant-type enemies, there’s basically no need for such a thing.

He wouldn’t want to waste such an opportunity.

As for giving it to his subordinates’ three Death Incarnations?

Gu Xi still shook his head.

Right now, only the Death Incarnation - Death God has two new arms, allowing him to wield another pair of weapons, but Gu Xi’s idea is to equip him with ranged weapons, like a bow and arrow.

The Titan Slayer as a specialized weapon is better left aside.

As for the newly joined Death Incarnation - Titan, Gu Xi initially had the idea to give it to him.

But this Death Incarnation - Titan strongly resisted the weapon. When Gu Xi intended to hand the Titan Slayer to him, he didn’t even look at it and had the urge to directly destroy it.

From the attitude of the Death Incarnation - Titan, Gu Xi could discern a few things.

But given the limited number of Purple Armor items in Gu Xi’s possession, he couldn’t afford to have the Titan Slayer destroyed.

In the end, the weapon just stayed as it was, not assigned to anyone.

Aside from these two weapons, all other purple items were tools or insets.

Most of them were retrieved from the Ancient Battlefield, and the best among these was a diamond body.

[Diamond Body (Purple): A special body made of diamond, can serve as the main part of a Puppet, and has effects such as automatic operation, magic reflection, and poison resistance.]

[Your temporary quest: The sealed power has changed, and you have found a suitable chest component for the quest.]

[Quest requirements: Find seven sealed components (4/7), assemble them, and defeat the assembly (0/1)]

This diamond body not only is of good quality but also propels Gu Xi’s temporary quest, now only three components short of completing the necessary parts.

Thinking of this, Gu Xi reviewed the items in his possession and finally nodded affirmatively.

That’s right, now just three pieces are missing.

Beneath the diamond body, another purple item that caught Gu Xi’s attention was a red-covered Magic Book.

When this Magic Book was revealed, Gu Xi thought it was an off-hand item.

But upon picking it up, Gu Xi realized it was not equipment, but indeed a tool, one to be placed in a Magic Tower.

[Ancient Magic Book (Purple): Can be placed in a Magic Tower, increasing magic research and study speed by 50% and enhancing the output of the affiliated Magic Academy or Mage Tower by 25%.]

Apparently, this is what the Seven Great Forces used to enhance their Magic Towers back then.

After all, the core forces of the Tower forces are just these two types, Golem Puppets and Mages.

This kind of enhancement item targeting Magic Towers was actually quite abundant in their hands.

However, after several wars, few items could be retrieved.

This Ancient Magic Book before him is considered the best among the many Magic Books, as the others are all of Blue Quality, still beneficial but not as effective as the Purple Magic Book.

Besides this, there aren’t particularly good purple items here.

Mainly, there’s the Lamp God’s lamp oil, Stone Golem’s base, Bell Tower’s clock hand, etc.

Though these items are of decent quality, they don’t hugely attract Gu Xi, nor do they notably enhance combat power.

Gu Xi considered whether to distribute these tools to his subordinate heroes upon returning, to see if it could improve their combat power.

Instead, some Blue Quality equipment and tools caught Gu Xi’s eye due to their unique utilities, leading Gu Xi to take them directly.

The best among the Blue Quality equipment was a blue Grand Mage Robe, adorned with extensive star map patterns, most notably with a collar that could rise to cover half the face.

[Grand Mage Robe (Blue, Topwear)]

[Defense: 15]

[Equipping grants: Intelligence +6]

[Equipment Requirements: Constitution 5, Intelligence 5]

[Special 1: Self-Protective Shield, automatically forms a magic shield on the body surface to protect when the wearer is attacked (magic shield mode is selectable).]

[Special 2: Concentrating Breath, randomly enhances the magic effect by 0-3 levels when casting magic.]

[Sockets: Empty, Empty, Empty, Empty]

[Note: This robe was worn by a Great Mage during their lifetime, and after all these years, its function remains undiminished.]

This Grand Mage Robe came at quite a convenient time for Gu Xi.

It precisely filled in the gap of lacking upper garments in Gu Xi’s inventory.

At least Gu Xi no longer needs to worry about not having a suitable outfit for outings.

Reflecting on this, Gu Xi found it somewhat incredible.

After all this time, having reached Level 7 with countless Blue and Green Armors at hand, yet this was the first piece of topwear Gu Xi set his eyes on.

If it were in another player’s possession, they might have been ridiculed to death by now.

But for Gu Xi, it’s quite a reasonable event.

Additionally, some Blue Quality items in Gu Xi’s possession stood out quite prominently.

Just like the Thunderstruck Stone Gu Xi currently held, which was one of such items.

[Thunderstruck Stone (Blue): A stone repeatedly struck by lightning on the battlefield, containing a portion of the lightning’s power, can be used to charge some tools or create current-related devices.]

Holding the Thunderstruck Stone, Gu Xi gave it a glance up and down, then turned to the Bone Titan behind him.

”This should be useful to you, right?”

The Bone Titan nodded affirmatively.

With a lift of his hand, Gu Xi tossed the Thunderstruck Stone to the Bone Titan.

Gu Xi didn’t watch the Bone Titan absorb the Thunderstruck Stone’s power but turned to study another Blue Quality item, analyzing its functionalities intently.

At that moment, a surge of electricity suddenly burst from the Bone Titan as it had just received the Thunderstruck Stone.

The Bone Titan leveled up.
