Ice Age Apocalypse: I Hoard Billions of Supplies

The eyeless demonic people wandered confusedly, ”looking” around left and right. Their vitality seemed exceptionally tenacious; even with their heads severed, their bodies twitched twice due to neural instinct before finally collapsing on the ice.

Old You was also going all out.

He wore exoskeleton armor specially customized for him by Lu Keran.

His exoskeleton was several times heavier than everyone else’s because it was equipped with many heavy firearms.

Old You was now completely covered in black armor, holding a Gatling cannon in each hand, with a small-caliber shoulder cannon on his shoulder, pouring firepower frantically at those giants!

Even though the bodies of those demonic people were as solid as steel.

Under the firepower of advanced-era firearms, even the hardest steel would be melted by artillery.

”Pupupupupupu!!!”

Three giants charging towards the Pagyi family were riddled with holes under Old You’s gunfire, massive amounts of blood gushing out like waterfalls.

Fatty Xu, who had been a bit scared at first, now looked smug.

”I thought these demonic people were supposed to be so powerful, but they’re actually this weak!”

”Old You, pass the baton, pass the baton, it’s my turn to shine now!”

Fatty Xu took a deep breath, a serious look appearing in his eyes.

His hair fluttered without wind, the surrounding temperature rapidly dropped, and large amounts of seawater churned, transforming into countless sharp ice spikes around him.

”Go!”

Fatty Xu swung his right hand fiercely, sending the sky full of ice spikes piercing towards those giants.

”Pupupupupu!!”

Many giants’ bodies were pierced, huge blood-colored ice spikes making them look like hedgehogs.

Fatty Xu was extremely excited; his abilities received a massive boost wherever there was water.

Soon, those giant demonic people attacking the Allied Forces were slaughtered and scattered.

The Allied Forces’ morale soared. They never expected this assault to go so smoothly, and relaxed expressions appeared on everyone’s faces.

”What’s the big deal? I thought the demonic people who dominated the Snowy Plateau Region a thousand years ago were supposed to be terrifying, but they’re actually so weak!”

”Hahaha, forget superhumans, it feels like just a fully equipped army could sweep this place clean!”

Everyone said happily.

Yang Xinxin’s voice sounded calmly in the communication channel.

”The Gate of Eternal Severance separates two worlds. People outside have undergone three industrial revolutions, and technology has developed by leaps and bounds.”

”The combat advantage brought by technological superiority is utterly overwhelming.”

If they had come here three hundred years ago, riding wooden boats, carrying muskets, and without advanced combat suits, they probably wouldn’t even have been able to handle the blood corpses and strange insects they encountered initially.

”Huh, these demonic people... seem to just be corpses too.”

Liang Yue suddenly said to the people around her in surprise.

Her way of killing enemies was simple and direct, always attacking the heart and head.

But when she cleaved a giant in half from the middle with one slash, she discovered the blood flowing inside his body was black, and his brain had already withered, clearly not a living person.

A lama from the esoteric sect said, ”This is a method of refining corpses into puppets, recorded very clearly in the esoteric sect’s archives.”

Zhang Yi thought of the bloody sacrificial methods in the esoteric sect’s traditions, and the ways of using human organs and body parts to make ritual implements, and couldn’t help but take a deep breath.

It seemed those were also traditions passed down from the Demon Kingdom era.

The horrors in the Sea of Blood seemed dangerous, but after two rounds, the Allied Forces slowly realized that these things, quite terrifying in ancient times, couldn’t stop modern firearms and powerful superhumans at all now.

They forcibly opened a path. Along the way, more sinister creatures appeared, all yin evils nourished by the Sea of Blood, but they were all blasted to pieces by the Allied Forces using scientific methods.

Soon, they approached the other side of the Sea of Blood.

In the distance, they actually saw an ancient city underground.

Shrouded in mist, everything was faint and indistinct.

Zhang Yi took a drone out from his Dimensional Space. The temperature underground wasn’t cold, so the drone could operate normally.

Others followed suit, sending drones ahead to investigate first.

The images transmitted back by the drones came in real-time.

This ancient city was enormous, at least half the size of Lhasa City.

Those moving inside were the descendants of the Demon Kingdom.

But contrary to expectations, these demonic people didn’t seem any different from ordinary humans.

They were right there underground, with neat houses, even forming bustling markets.

Only, each person had a demon eye tattooed on their forehead.

”They don’t look any different from ordinary people!”

Fatty Xu said softly while watching the footage.

”Wrong, observe their body sizes carefully.”

Chodak said sternly from the side.

Upon hearing this, Zhang Yi directly analyzed the demonic people’s heights by retrieving parameters.

The resulting data was astonishing. Their average adult height was around three meters. Even half-grown children were a head taller than Fatty Xu.

Deji had a separate communication channel with the supervisors from each family.

He reminded everyone, ”These are all sinful immigrants. Their existence will always be the greatest threat to the esoteric sect. Do not harbor any pity for them! The descendants of heretics and devils must all be eliminated!”

A thousand years ago, the bloodshed the Demon Kingdom wrought upon the Snowy Plateau Region still sends chills down one’s spine just through historical records.

So Deji wouldn’t show any mercy; they were basically ruthless killing machines.

Coming here this time, even the Demon Kingdom’s children wouldn’t be spared. Even a passing dog would get slapped twice.

The drones flew high in the air.

The Demon Kingdom’s technology was very backward. They even used oxen and horses to pull carts when going out, and their houses were the simplest stone structures.

It seemed as if their technology hadn’t improved at all over a thousand years.

To avoid detection, the drones stayed a full kilometer above the city’s ground, but with the Demon Kingdom’s technology, they couldn’t possibly be discovered.

”Boss, I feel like something’s not right.”

Fatty Xu whispered to Zhang Yi in the communication channel.

Even the usually laziest Fatty Xu sensed something was off.

Zhang Yi also frowned, ”What did you notice?”

Fatty Xu said, ”This is clearly a small country, but we didn’t come here to help the esoteric sect clean up heretics! We came to find the Demon Kingdom treasure that Pagyi Gesang mentioned.”

”But this place... where does it look like there’s any treasure?”

Zhang Yi’s frown deepened.

The Demon Kingdom treasure he imagined was a secret realm like Mist Valley or the Qinling Mountains Abyss, containing something like Divine Source or sacrificial spirit.

But a place like this didn’t resemble that kind of location at all, let alone having any sacrificial spirit.

Could it be that Pagyi Gesang had tricked him?
