The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 1496: Chapter 1496: Like an Angel Guarding Her

Little Taotie hummed softly for a while, then moved closer to Ghost Sister, speaking in a gentle voice: ”Ghost Sister, have you entered her dreamscape?”

Feng Qi, standing nearby, smirked: ”Careful, you might sniffle out your snot!”

Little Taotie got even angrier, giving Feng Qi a big-eyed glare.

Feng Qi became even more interested, grinning: ”Who have you been learning from lately? Always humming, are you a little piglet?”

”You’re the little piglet! You snore, you fox pig!”

”Taotie pig!”

”Fox pig, humph!”

”Taotie pig!”...

Watching them argue endlessly, Ghost sighed and rubbed her forehead.

The master is really getting increasingly childish!

Ghost Sister coughed to draw both of their attention back to herself.

A pair of lively fox eyes, a pair of bright starry eyes, both looked straight at her.

Ghost Sister coughed again: ”Let’s get back to business, I entered her dreamscape and found that there are three of her living inside her body.”

”Three of her?” Little Taotie tilted his head, his big eyes filled with confusion.

Feng Qi squinted his fox eyes, looking thoughtful, his expression becoming serious: ”Go on.”

Ghost Sister recalled the sights and sounds from the dreamscape and lowered her eyes: ”It was indeed a nightmare, but it was also a memory dream.”

Feng Qi was surprised: ”A memory dream? You mean, something she has experienced before?”

Ghost Sister nodded solemnly: ”The dream started with her parents arguing and getting a divorce, her mother went mad, even self-harming in front of her. She was very young at the time and got terribly frightened, that night, another her awoke, one that was a bit mischievous and unruly.”

Feng Qi frowned: ”Sounds a bit like a psychological disorder known in this world.”

Ghost Sister nodded: ”Yes, similar to a case of dissociative identity disorder.”

Recently, Feng Qi, having nothing better to do, binge-watched quite a few dramas, most of which Little Taotie acted in.

She never admitted it, but actually, as long as Little Taotie was involved in a show, TV series, or commercial shooting, she would watch it. She’s truly a devoted fan of Little Taotie.

Little Taotie had always been a detective novel enthusiast, and in these detective novels, there are always a few characters with psychological disorders, such as dissociative identity disorder, explosive disorder, etc., so Little Taotie wasn’t completely clueless about the subject.

Little Taotie looked at Ghost Sister with his big round eyes full of concern for Tiger Sister, ”So, is the current Tiger Sister the primary personality or one of the split personalities?”

Ghost Sister’s eyes wandered for a bit. She didn’t want to tell the truth and upset the young girl, but she couldn’t lie to her either. Finally, she sighed lightly and softened her voice: ”The one that awoke that night isn’t the current Tiger, but another her, this her is somewhat eerie, like a villain, but although her actions were extreme, in essence, she was protecting her. It’s hard to say if it’s good or bad, but it might be good for her because if not for this eerie split personality, she would definitely encounter very bad things.”

Thinking of the bathroom scene that appeared in the dreamscape, if it hadn’t been for this split personality’s ruthless hand, torturing the teacher, who knows what terrible thing might have happened.

Given the primary personality’s frail appearance, she would definitely have succumbed, perhaps leading to a tragedy from which she couldn’t recover. So, the appearance of this split personality was, for the primary, more like an angel guarding her, even though the actions seemed villainous.

”So Tiger Sister isn’t the primary personality, nor the second to appear, but the third to emerge?” Little Taotie lowered his eyes, feeling a bit sad. Detective novels often write that for a split disorder to heal, the primary personality must take the lead, eradicating the secondary personalities one by one, until the other personalities cease to appear.

In other words... only if Tiger Sister disappears, will the disorder be cured.
