The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Capítulo 1475: Chapter 1475: The Delivery Guy Isn’t Bad

The host who lost her job due to scandals arrived at the set where Little Taotie was filming a new drama, full of resentment.

She was here in the capacity of an investor.

Even though she lost her job, she still had substantial savings and properties, mostly obtained from “ex-boyfriends.”

She sold off her properties, gathered all her money, and finally got the qualification to invest in this drama, putting all her money into it.

Although she disliked Little Taotie, she had to admit that Little Taotie was indeed notoriously known as the “Little God of Wealth” in the industry.

On one hand, she despised and loathed Little Taotie, while on the other hand, she wanted to leverage Little Taotie’s wealth-bringing ability to make money.

She was like the filthiest rat hiding in a dark corner, watching the direction of the nanny car, seeing Little Taotie being escorted by bodyguards out of the car and entering the set.

She had always wanted to find a chance to take revenge, to vent her anger, but ironically, there was never an opportunity.

She was not someone who would give up, so she kept lurking, searching for a chance to strike.

Little Taotie had long known about her existence through Ghost Sister, and had already sensed a pair of resentful eyes staring at him, so how could he possibly give her any opportunity?

On this day, Little Taotie was hungry, and Chen Zi ordered a cake delivery.

Just as the Delivery Guy arrived, he was intercepted by the host who had been lurking for a long time.

Delivery Guy: “What are you doing?”

The host blinked, with a mischievous smile: “Hey, is this delivery for Chen Zi?”

The Delivery Guy glanced at the delivery slip and nodded: “Indeed it is.”

The host clapped her hands: “That’s right, I’m Chen Zi’s girlfriend, I’ll take it in for him.”

She reached out to take the package but was avoided by the Delivery Guy.

The Delivery Guy’s face turned stern: “This delivery is for Chen Zi, it must be signed by Chen Zi. You say you’re his girlfriend, but without proof, I can’t believe you.”

The host looked at the delivery bag. She had always ordered cakes from this place, her eyes rolled as she said: “I love cake, this is the cake he ordered for me, it was meant for me, just give it to me.”

She reached out once again, but to no avail.

The Delivery Guy frowned tightly, his tone unfriendly: “You say it’s for you, so it is? This cake isn’t cheap, and if you’re a scammer, it’s me who’ll have to pay for it. I won’t give it to you, I must hand it to Chen Zi personally!”

The host was infuriated but tried to maintain her smile: “This cake isn’t expensive. How about this, I’ll give you enough money to cover the cake, even more than the cost, so you give me the cake first. If there’s trouble, you won’t lose anything, you can even make extra money, wouldn’t you want that?”

Delivery Guy stepped back, his expression unfriendly: “Why are you giving me money for no reason? You look shady, definitely not a good person, clearly ugly yet wearing heavy makeup to scare people!”

Insulted by harsh words, the host was furious and didn’t waste more words, immediately attempting to snatch it.

The Delivery Guy held the delivery bag tightly and yelled: “Robbery! Help, someone is robbing!”

The voice was loud, and soon attracted attention.

“Shut up, shut up! Isn’t it money you want? I’ll give you money, shut up!”

“Who wants your filthy money! You think I’d take money for no reason? I don’t want it!”

The Delivery Guy shouted even louder: “Help, someone is robbing!”
