The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 997: Chapter 997: Did Cai Cai Put On Makeup?

”Although my big sister doesn’t have a pretty face, she’s working hard to lose weight, and she’s great at dancing. Her body has such nice lines that if she went to a masquerade, she’d definitely be the most eye-catching in the crowd.”

Xiao Lingzhi nodded: ”When the face doesn’t cut it, the body can make up for it, that’s also a good way.”

Little Jinzi helplessly said: ”That’s pretty much it, we can only rely on the body to raise the average score.”

”That celebrity realized this and actually got my big sister drunk and sent her to the room of a really ugly boss, scaring my big sister sober on the spot, she almost killed someone.”

”That’s a bit horrifying!” Xiao Lingzhi clutched her chest: ”Is your big sister alright?”

Little Jinzi giggled: ”She’s fine, my big sister freaked out on the spot and gave them a beating, she was so fierce! I’ve always believed that if my big sister went to make martial arts films, she could definitely play a major villain, like a Big Witch type, ruthless without blinking! It’s a pity she only sings and dances, doesn’t act.”

Xiao Lingzhi thought for a moment: ”Actually, a surgically-enhanced face isn’t suitable for acting, acting requires a lot of expressions, and a surgically-enhanced face is unnatural, a bit stiff. Small productions might accept it, but big productions don’t want surgically-enhanced actors.”

Little Jinzi was surprised: ”There’s no such saying in my country, there are few celebrities who haven’t had surgery!”

”But the truly famous ones, even internationally, definitely haven’t had surgery.”

”Eh, now that you mention it...that seems about right.”

Xiao Lingzhi spread her hands: ”So you better think carefully, if you’re going into showbiz, it’s best not to have surgery. You don’t have a voice as good as your big sister’s.”

Little Jinzi fell into thought, this problem was too difficult for her at her young age.

While the two were talking, Little Taotie had already devoured half the table’s worth of food, her mouth still having a bit of cream on it.

Xiao Lingzhi looked at her, hesitated a moment, and spoke: ”Sister, have you gained weight?”

Little Taotie’s eating actions froze.

It’s summer, time for short sleeves, and there’s no hiding the chubbiness!

Little Taotie’s eyes wavered, she put down the spoon, ”I’m full.”

Xiao Lingzhi reached out a magic claw and pinched Little Taotie’s plump, white, tender arms, ”You really have gained weight!”

”No, I haven’t!” Little Taotie broke free from her magic claw and ran off.

Little Taotie and Xiao Lingzhi chased and played around for a while until they both lay on the bed, a bit tired.

Xiao Lingzhi lay on her side, looking at Little Jinzi, who was ”working on the rest of the food,” trying to finish off the remaining half of the table’s delicacies.

”Little Jinzi, are you acting in your country?”

”I’m considered... a comedy artist.”

”A comedy artist?” Xiao Lingzhi was surprised.

”It means I participate in variety shows, responsible for the comedic aspect, some nonsensical movies and TV shows would look for me to cameo, so my label is comedy.”

”So, you’re still mainly focused on acting, right?”

”I guess you could say that.”

”Then I advise you not to have surgery, if a surgery goes wrong, it would even be harder for you to get work, since your label is already clear, you’re on the comedy actor route, it requires more expressive faces than regular actors.”

Little Jinzi thought Xiao Lingzhi made a lot of sense, she took out a small mirror to look at her own face, ”But I... still want to become prettier.”

”There are many ways to become prettier, like makeup!”

Little Jinzi shook her head: ”Makeup won’t achieve the effect I want.”

”That’s because your country is used to surgery, they fix what they don’t like, without thinking about other ways to complement it.”

Little Taotie softly interjected: ”Actually, Little Veggie seems to be quite good at makeup.”

Little Jinzi was surprised: ”Little Veggie wears makeup?”

Little Taotie looked at her, even more surprised, ”You couldn’t tell?”

Little Jinzi nodded: ”I couldn’t tell at all.”

Little Taotie sighed: ”Maybe her makeup skills are just too good.”

Xiao Lingzhi clapped her hands: ”That’s right, R country’s makeup technology is top-notch, comparable to surgical face changes! I heard that girls in R country even use sleeping-specific cosmetics to put on makeup before sleeping.”

Little Jinzi was eager to try: ”Then I’ll go ask Little Veggie how to do makeup like a beauty!”

The three Little Cubs decided to act and went to Little Veggie’s room, Little Jinzi stepped forward to knock on the door.

For a long time, no one answered the door.

Little Jinzi was puzzled: ”Not there?”
