The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 967: Chapter 967: Bizarre Incidents on the Island

Teacher Beibei was just about to offer some words of comfort when a scream echoed from afar.

The screaming faded away shortly, only to be replaced by an angry roar from another direction.

Little Jinzi was startled, turned around, and hugged Little Taotie, ”Sister Little Taotie, you must protect me!”

Little Taotie: ”...”

You’ve got your arms and legs wrapped around me; if a bad guy comes, I have no way to protect you!

Little Veggie suddenly sat up, his eyes also filled with fear.

Because the screams were incessant, one after another, coming from different individuals.

Excluding those who quit the contest, there are still over ninety contestants on the island.

In just a short time, at least a dozen screams have been heard.

Suddenly a woman began to cry out: ”There are ghosts! There are ghosts on this island, I want to quit, I want to quit!”

...

The director looked at the assistant director, frowning: ”What’s going on?”

The assistant director quickly adjusted the footage, displaying nine different screens on the large monitor.

”Rewind back! Let’s see what’s really happening!” the director urged.

The assistant director nodded, also growing tense.

In the first screen, the woman yelling to quit was running frantically, occasionally glancing back, screaming, and continuing to run with all her might.

”No one’s even chasing her; why is she running?” the director was puzzled.

The assistant director’s face was solemn, ”But her fear doesn’t seem to be fake.”

In the second screen, a man was lying flat on the ground, initially lying peacefully, but suddenly his limbs started twitching as if trying to get up, yet pressed down by something invisible.

”Let me go!”

”Help!”

”What ghostly thing is pinning me down! Help!”

In the third screen, two young girls were leaning on each other, a pair of twins.

Both had fallen asleep.

Suddenly one of them began to frantically scratch her head, while the other started screaming wildly.

They remained with eyes shut, as if trapped in some terrifying dream, unable to wake up.

In the fourth screen, a couple was shown.

Initially, they were under the starlit sky, deeply in love, but suddenly the woman stood up and kicked the man.

”Bastard, how many people have you been cheating with behind my back, just how many times have you made me wear the green hat!”

The man was dumbfounded by the kick.

But the woman wouldn’t stop, crazily slapping him.

The man tried hard, giving her a push: ”What madness is this!”

The two of them started tussling together.

In the fifth screen, a sleeping man stood up with his eyes closed, as if in a sleepwalk.

He walked toward a big tree.

”Bang!” His forehead hit the tree.

Yet he didn’t wake up, stepped back a few steps, and set out again, heading toward the tree.

The director grew anxious: ”Stop him fast, he’s going to get himself killed!”

The assistant director arranged for personnel to locate them and stop their crazy actions.

In the nine screens, none of the situations was good.

The director wiped his sweat and muttered: ”Could this be some kind of evil influence?”

The assistant director’s face turned pale: ”Doesn’t this look like the situation when we used to shoot supernatural movies?”

The two had worked together for years, having filmed many projects, including supernatural-themed movies. However, something happened later, and they hadn’t dared touch such a genre again for many years, feeling apprehensive.

The director took a deep breath: ”Could it really be so cursed?”

The assistant director, his hands trembling, dialed a number.

The director asked: ”Who are you calling?”

The assistant director rasped: ”The Island Master, asking him if anything eerie has ever occurred on this island, he surely knows something!”
