The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 665: Chapter 665: Why Did the War God Run Away?

In an instant, the Little Beast Bai Bai opened its eyes, and within those pupils seemed to be the vast universe, encompassing everything, with countless stars converging into a Milky Way.

Mysterious and unpredictable, those vast and strange eyes.

A tremendous phantom appeared behind it, revealing the true form of the Taotie Fierce Beast, immensely huge, eclipsing the sun, shaking one’s heart, and commanding awe and submission.

The horn growing atop the head of the Little Beast Bai Bai turned into a pair of dragon horns, and its body began to grow. It was no longer the chubby and round shape of a little cub, but its back arched with muscles and limbs became strong and vigorous, taking on the power and ferocity expected of a Fierce Beast.

The colossal beast form didn’t last long; a wisp of blue smoke rose up, and its body transformed once more. It was shrouded in a misty white light, gradually shrinking and elongating, and through the haze, one could discern the delicate figure of a young girl.

When the War God pushed the door open, it was right when the white light dissipated, and the naked girl gently closed her eyes, just as her body floated down from mid-air.

The War God flashed forward and caught her falling body with his hands.

The touch in the palm of his hands was too soft; the face hidden within the helmet blushed.

The War God was invincible, won every battle, yet at this moment he was at a loss, so flustered that he didn’t know whether to hold onto or let go of the girl in his arms, his mind was completely stuck.

The girl in his embrace was even more beautiful than the Jade Pool Fairy, with a petite face small enough to fit on a palm, cheeks with full apple muscles, a bit of baby fat, blossoming between a girl and a woman.

Her perky little nose was white and fleshy, lacking any sense of aggression, making her look extremely adorable.

Her red lips were like cherries topped with dewdrops, tempting one for a kiss.

The War God frantically averted his gaze.

Nowadays, the War God’s status was such that he didn’t know how many people offered him beauties, nor how many beauties offered themselves to his bed, but he always felt that women could cause trouble and would affect the speed of his swordsmanship.

Throughout history, heroes have found it difficult to resist the allure of beauties, with many wasting their battle prowess on them. He always thought that beauties were to be avoided more than Fierce Beasts; hence, he steered clear of them and remained a pure young man.

The War God didn’t accept beauties and even demoted those who offered them. Everyone knew that offering beauties to the War God was courting trouble, and eventually, people stopped doing so.

Most of the beauties who offered themselves were sent away by him without any compassion, and he even accidentally killed a few. The beauties valued their lives as well and dared not offer themselves afterward.

The War God had lived for many years, becoming an old immortal, but had never seen a woman’s body.

Now, as his eyes drifted downwards, as if scorched by fire, he hastily closed them, chanting in his heart, ”Look not upon impropriety...”

He felt the person in his arms move slightly, as if about to wake up, which made him even more unsure of what to do.

He’d been holding her for quite a while without realizing there was a bed beside him; in his flustered state, he finally noticed it and hurriedly placed this hot potato on the bed, covered her up tightly with the blanket, and fled with greased heels, the figure of his getaway sloppy and embarrassed.

In this world, who else could make the invincible War God show such a state, turning him into a deserter?

Luckily the girl on the bed was still unconscious and didn’t see this scene, nor was there anyone else present.

The War God believed this incident would remain a secret forever.

Little did he know, at this moment, a Little Cub had witnessed everything. Little Taotie watched it all, blinked its big eyes, and in a child’s voice filled with confusion asked, ”Why did the War God run away?”
