Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Rushing back to the Tower of Secrets knowing that he didn’t have the time to attempt another celestial trial, Xuan Hao did his best to try and stabilize the dao seed inside of his dantian. Doing his best to try and delay his dao seed from blooming before he could break through to the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

After all, he wouldn’t automatically break through to the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm after getting his hands on the information, he would still have to understand the process of breaking through to the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm before he could attempt it, something that would undoubtedly take time.

Not to mention, he still didn’t even know if he had managed to gather enough celestial coins in the first place. The only thing that made him somewhat confident in having enough celestial coins for the information on breaking through to the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm was the fact that the preservation golem taking care of the Tower of Secrets had mentioned a discount.

Smiling a bit sarcastically to himself as he thought about having to rely on a discount for being able to break through to the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm before his breakthrough to the Profound Immortal Realm, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a bit regretful that he hadn’t looked more into breaking through to the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm beforehand.

Instead, he had just believed that he would automatically break through to the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm after his comprehension had reached the required realm…

Deciding that it would be for the best to not think too much about this mistake of his, Xuan Hao focused his full attention on increasing his speed. Soon enough landing in front of the entrance to the Tower of Secrets again.

”Trail participant detected, temporary elder status acknowledged, trail participant, what would you like help with?”

”Can you give me a rundown on my current status.” Hearing the familiar voice of the preservation golem before it appeared in front of him, Xuan Hao directly asked about his current status.

Not just because he was curious about the number of celestial coins he had, but also because he was curious about whether his status as a tier three trial participant had changed now that he had completed more than 6 celestial trials.

After all, even if he knew that he would also have to complete some kind of special trial according to what he knew about the participant status, he could have already completed one such special trial without knowing.

”Question acknowledged, proceeding to look through trial participant’s information… Total number of trials completed, 7, normal trials 7, special trial 0, current status, tier three participant… Special privileges, temporary elder status… Celestial coin, 237.

It is recommended that trial participant completes a special trial and upgrades to a tier two participant.”

”Still a tier three participant…” Feeling a bit disappointed that none of the celestial trials he had gone through so far could be considered special trials, Xuan Hao wanted to investigate the special trials further, but… Given the current state of his dantian and the fact that he didn’t really have much time to complete a breakthrough to the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, he didn’t linger around the entrance to the Tower of Secrets any longer and directly made his way inside before rushing up to the third floor of the tower. Not daring to look at any of the techniques along the way. Fearing that he might get tempted by them.

It was only when he reached the third floor of the tower that he realized that he had absolutely no clue where the information he was looking for was located. Resulting in him having to awkwardly turn around and ask the preservation golem for assistance…

But after that, nothing major happened, as the preservation golem guided him to the location of the information he wanted.

[Insights into the Dao Domain Lord Realm. Written by Holy Lord Chang Ye]

[Price: 500 Celestial Coins]

[Discounted Price for those in the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm: 200 Celestial Coins]

”…”

However, after laying eyes on the price of the information he wanted, he couldn’t help stopping for a second to think about whether it was really worth it for him to break through to the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

After all… With 200 celestial coins, there were countless precious combat techniques that he could buy inside the tower of secrets, even a few Saint Rank combat techniques that he might have seen on his way over.

Of course, this thought didn’t last long, as he soon focused back on the book in front of him.

No matter how much he might have wanted to get his hands on a combat technique above Heaven Rank, he also understood just how important it was for him to reach the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

Not only because it would mean that his strength would be lower after reaching the Profound Immortal Realm would be lower, but also because his future progress would be smoother.

Because of this, Xuan Hao reluctantly picked up the small book and paid the 200 celestial coins that it cost. Bringing his 237 celestial coins all the way down to a measly 37 celestial coins.

Although this was still a lot of celestial coins, it didn’t feel like a lot when he glanced around at the different combat techniques around him all costing at least 50 celestial coins each.

What made it worse was that the price of 200 celestial coins was the discount price for someone at the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm like himself.

If he had to buy it at the original price of 500 celestial coins, he might not even have managed to gather enough celestial coins by completing the remaining three celestial trials inside of the mystic realm.

Shaking his head as he thought about ending up in that kind of situation, Xuan Hao soon found a place to sit down before starting to read through the relatively small book.

Starting from the Initial Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm the book went into detail describing the Dao Domain Lord Realm from both the Myriad and Singular Path, the benefits and demerits of both paths, along with the most effective ways to progress through the two paths.

Even including a profound technique suitable for anyone in the Domain Lord Realm to learn that would make it far easier for someone to step onto the Singular Path of the Dao Domain Lord Realm. Far more in-depth and at the same time, simpler to understand compared to the techniques that his disciple and Feng Chen had managed to get their hands on.

However, none of this was why Xuan Hao had paid so many celestial coins for this small book. Instead, it was the information on how to break through to the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm that he had been missing… And sure enough, it didn’t take him long to reach the section of the book that covered the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

”So… Reaching the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm is something done alongside the blooming of the dao seed into a dao lotus?” Reading through the section on the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm in a few short minutes, it didn’t take him long to grasp the main points for breaking through to the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

Reaching the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm was not that difficult when one reached the requirements; the only somewhat difficult part was that one would have to do so while also breaking through to the Profound Immortal Realm.

The breakthrough in question only requires him to integrate his dao domain into his dantian while breaking through to the Profound Immortal Realm, something that wasn’t that difficult to accomplish.

The main difficulty of reaching the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm came from comprehending three Daos to the Perfection Realm and six to the Large Success Realm…

”But… Integrating my dao domain into my dantian while breaking through to the Profound Immortal Realm… Doesn’t that mean I will have to integrate it while undergoing the Immortal Soul Tribulation…?” Suddenly realizing that he might have overseen a rather crucial part of breaking through to the Profound Immortal Realm, Xuan Hao quickly skimmed through the section on the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm again.

And…

It indeed looked like he would have to integrate his dao domain into his dantian while undergoing the Immortal Soul Tribulation.

No… Not just that, but he needed to fully integrate it before the Immortal Soul Tribulation ended, as his cultivation realm would break through to the Dao Seed Realm after the tribulation ended.

Of course, this breakthrough to the Dao Seed Realm wouldn’t last for more than a few seconds before his breakthrough to the Profound Immortal Realm began, but it would still take him out of the Dao Domain Lord Realm. Meaning that he would have to reach the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm before he ended up completing the Immortal Soul Tribulation.

”How bothersome…” Silently muttering a few words under his breath in response to this realization, Xuan Hao didn’t wait around inside the Tower of Secrets after he had gotten his hands on the information on how to reach the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm. Turning around to leave in search of a location to break through to the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm and then proceed forward to directly reach the Profound Immortal Realm in a single step.
