Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Standing in front of the half broken celestial gate looking down at the celestial compass in his hand just to ensure that the broken-down gate in front of him really was a celestial gate with a trial inside of it, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a sense of hesitation thinking about the potential state of the spatial passages on the other side.

But… With his current comprehension of the Dao of Space, he felt a sense of renewed confidence welling up inside of him. Not hesitating for much longer before taking a step forward to enter the broken-down celestial gate, while silently praying that the spatial passage that he was going down was intact…

Rumble~

Unfortunately, a spatial anomaly soon proved his earlier hesitation correct, as the spatial passage passed right through a minor spatial storm.

RUMBLE-!

As the spatial storm grew closer, Xuan Hao’s figure flickered, his expression grim as he continued following the spatial passage directly towards the spatial storm.

Even though he could try and move away from the spatial storm, there was always the risk of this provoking a response from the formation guarding the celestial gate.

With all of that in mind, he prepared himself for the inevitable, as he watched how the space in front of him began twisting unnaturally. Changing the originally calm spatial passage into an ominous vortex of shattered space, swirling cracks, and chaotic storms of energy.

A spatial storm, even a minor one, was one of the deadliest calamities in the boundless heavens.

Yet, he had no choice but to continue forward. Steeling himself, as he plunged into the maelstrom.

Almost instantly, reality warped around him. The concept of up and down shattered as space stretched and compressed erratically before blades of fractured void energy howled through the storm, each one capable of severing mountains, splitting souls, and reducing one’s existence into nothingness.

Even for someone who had comprehended the Dao of Space to the Perfection Realm and had a cultivation at the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, they proved to be a deadly threat, as he barely avoided a slashing rupture of space by vanishing, reappearing several meters away with a flicker of his body, Drifting Cloud Steps, his priced movement technique becoming a lifesaving tool in his current situation.

Yet, even with his mastery of a movement technique attuned with the Dao of Space, survival was not guaranteed.

He still had to find his way through the spatial storm and back to the spatial passage that he had originally been travelling along…

Whoosh~!

Barely reacting in time, Xuan Hao’s body flickered out of existence before reappearing a few meters away, narrowly dodging another collapsing spatial fissure.

The spatial storm around him warping the void into a chaotic labyrinth of deadly currents.

Each step he took requiring absolute precision, as a single wrong step could result in him being swallowed by the spatial storm.

Because of this, he wasted no time in using his divine sense to search the surroundings for traces of the original spatial passage.

However, even with his powerful divine sense, the storm distorted everything. Even his perception, combined with his mastery over the Dao of Space, struggled to pierce through the chaos.

RUMBLE-!

However, as he was focused on trying to find the original spatial passage, a sudden shift in the storm sent a spiraling void current crashing toward him. Leaving him with no time to evade, as the chaotic current of energy suppressed the space around him. Preventing him from using the Drifting Cloud Steps to avoid.

Unable to evade and faced with a chaotic amalgamation of spatial energies capable of reducing even someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm to dust, Xuan Hao could only exhale sharply before his dao domain rapidly expanded outwards to meet the void current-

Rumble~!

The moment Xuan Hao unleashed his Dao Domain, the very fabric of space trembled.

However, the spatial current was not a mere force of nature, it was a calamity born from the broken laws of the void, an untamed storm that devoured all in its path!

BOOOOM-!

A deafening explosion of spatial energy erupted the next second, as the spatial current slammed into Xuan Hao’s dao domain before the two forces began tearing into one another, creating a cataclysm of pure destruction.

RUUUMBLE-!

The spatial current surged wildly, seeking to unravel his domain with its raw, chaotic power. Howling like an angered god, as it tore through his domain like a knife through butter, his domain barely offering any resistance as space itself fractured under its might, rifts opening and closing in an instant, as if the void itself were being ripped apart and stitched back together.

But Xuan Hao did not yield.

Even faced with a power he couldn’t resist, his domain pulsed with power, expanding and contracting in rhythmic waves, using his own comprehension of the Dao of Space to redirect the wild current and avoid being immediately overwhelmed by the chaotic current.

However, this was far from a solution to his problem, as his domain could only hold on for so long before breaking under the pressure.

Because of this, he didn’t waste any time searching through the chaotic, shattered space for the original spatial passage. Soon enough, spotting what should have been remnant of the original spatial passage amidst the chaotic currents-

Whoosh-!

And given he was on limited time, he wasted no time in throwing himself in the direction of the shattered fragments of the original spatial passage, his domain barely managing to resist the sudden shift as he momentarily stopped redirecting the chaotic spatial energies.

Luckily, this proved to be the current choice, as he soon found the original spatial passage amidst the spatial storm. Wasting no time in using all his strength to follow the original spatial passage out of the spatial storm. Barely managing to escape before his dao domain shattered under the terrifying chaotic spatial energies.

Almost like nothing had happened, as he resumed travelling along the spatial passage leading him towards the celestial trial again…
