Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

As the first Soul Ascension Realm cultivator slowly started to familiarize himself with the Star Shattering Sect and the main sect located on the Seventh Star Peak, it didn’t take long for him to realize that the strongest people present on the Seventh Star Peak were only at the Earth Immortal Realm. However, this didn’t seem weird, as he also learnt about the existence of the Main Star Peak that was out of reach for the elders and disciples of the sect. Only accessible by an ancestor who resided on the Seventh Star Peak as well.

From this alone, it wasn’t difficult for him to put two and two together and conclude that the truly powerful elders of the sect were located on the Main Star Peak or the Second Star Peak that were inaccessible to the weaker elders and disciples of the sect. Possibly only accessible for those who managed to break through to the Celestial Immortal Realm.

In the end, this information ended up making him even more excited when it came to improving his own cultivation in the future. Especially so considering that he now seemed to be able to realistically see himself reached the Earth Immortal Realm in the future and potentially even challenge the Celestial Immortal Realm with a bit of luck.

However, just as he found himself getting excited about reaching the Earth Immortal Realm in the future and striving towards the Celestial Immortal Realm, he finally encountered information about higher cultivation realms that were rather easily accessible throughout the Star Shattering Sect.

To say it was surprising would be an understatement, as he felt his entire world being turned upside down with his perception of the rigid cultivation structure that followed a simple line being completely overturned.

Dao Domain Lord Realm? Profound Immortal Realm? What was that? Dao Seed Realm… Someone at the Half Bloom Stage standing at the Peak of the Earth Immortal Realm is only at the Middle Stage of the Dao Seed Realm?!

Learning about the existence of the Dao Seed Realm and the fact that the Earth Immortal Realm was a relatively new name for the realm that essentially cut off anyone who wanted to reach the Profound Immortal Realm, a realm that stood above even the Celestial Immortal Realm in terms of strength, the wandering cultivator in the Soul Ascension Realm instantly felt his plans for his own future shifting.

No longer did he think about reaching the Earth Immortal Realm and striving to reach the Celestial Immortal Realm. Instead, he now wanted to reach the Peak of the Dao Seed Realm and break through to the Profound Immortal Realm.

Even if this was a far more difficult endeavor, he wanted to do the best possible thing and become as strong as possible.

Not to mention, even if he couldn’t reach the Profound Immortal Realm in the future with his talent, he would always be able to turn around and go for the less desirable option of the Celestial Immortal Realm. Especially so considering that his chances of reaching the Celestial Immortal Realm would be increased the further he progressed through the Dao Seed Realm.

If he managed to reach the Late Stage of the Dao Seed Realm in the future, but was unable to reach the Profound Immortal Realm, he would almost be guaranteed to breakthrough to the Celestial Immortal Realm.

All things considered, this wandering cultivator was fully stratified with his new position in the Star Shattering Sect and couldn’t wait to start earning contribution points by teaching the younger disciples of the sect. Already planning what to use the contribution points on the Dao Enlightenment Monument that he had heard about from a few of the sect’s elders and disciples during his walk through the sect together with the person guiding him through the sect.

Speaking of the person guiding him through the sect, he had found out that the person was someone highly respected throughout the sect for his management ability and unmatched teaching ability, something that had earned him a position in the sect far beyond even that of the Dao Seed Realm Elder he had managed to spot during their journey through the sect.

With a cultivation base only in the Nascent Soul Realm, to have a position above that of a Dao Seed Realm cultivator… It was clear to anyone that he should have some ability, as it would have been impossible to have such a high position even if he had the backing of some powerful figure inside of the sect. Especially so considering that it was clear that everyone he encountered while walking through the sect clearly respected the old man, even if their cultivation was above his…

Following Elder Song finishing the tour of the sect for the first Soul Ascension Realm wandering cultivator to join the sect, it didn’t take long before a second one appeared, thus resulting in Elder Song once again spending another few hours guiding this new Soul Ascension Realm cultivator through the sect after determining that this person was also a good addition to the sect.

Soon enough, Elder Song found himself getting increasingly busy showing the different wandering cultivators coming to join the sect around, while also making sure to keep an eye on them to ensure that his first judgement of them had been accurate.

Because of this, the time he could dedicate towards the normal management of the sect decreased. Resulting in the little apprentice from the half spirit race that he had been training for the past few years to help alleviate the workload, ended up taking over most of what he would normally have overseen.

Although this did end up causing some delays around the sect, it didn’t affect the overall daily management of the sect nor cause any problems for the elders and disciples.

The only ones with a problem, so to speak, were the ones in charge of the daily management of the sect, as they found themselves facing a backlog of work that started accumulating the moment Elder Song’s attention was focused elsewhere.

Then again, this was also a good experience for these elders and disciples, as it gave them an opportunity to personally work with what Elder Song did daily.

It was an especially enlightening experience for the young one from the half spirit race who ended up taking over the lead position in place of Elder Song.

Outside of the elders in charge of managing the sect feeling the change from the wandering cultivators in the Soul Ascension Realm slowly starting to trickle into the sect, the elders in the Domain Lord Realm were the ones who felt this change the most, as they suddenly found themselves in a rather awkward position when faced with so many Soul Ascension Realm cultivators entering the sect all of a sudden.

Of course, this awkwardness didn’t last for long, as these elders all collectively decided to take full advantage of the new influx of powerful cultivators into the sect to advance their own cultivation. Understanding that if they wanted to keep their elder position in the future, they would have to reach the Soul Ascension Realm at the very least.

As for the elders who were still stuck in the Nascent Soul Realm… It was only now that they began realizing that it was far too wishful for them to think that they would be able to become elders if they managed to breakthrough to the Domain Lord Realm in the future.

This was especially so for Cheng Huang, who had already personally experienced this after his breakthrough to the Nascent Soul Realm.

In the future, he really didn’t want to remain the oldest disciple of the sect even if he managed to break through to the Domain Lord Realm…

Of course, outside of the panic that this sudden change caused to the elders of the sect who felt like their chances to remain elders in the future was decreasing, it also made them prouder to be elders of the Star Shattering Sect. Ending up spurring their drive for cultivation, as they all collectively made their way to the Grand Mission Pavilion to take on as many missions from the sect as possible to earn more contribution points.

In turn, a situation that had never happened since the establishment of the Grand Mission Pavilion ended up taking place, as the missions available for elders to take on ended up being fully swallowed up, with some elders not having the chance to take on any missions in time.

However, before it ended up becoming a problem, the sect management elders ended up jumping at the opportunity as they used their control over the Grand Mission Pavilion to send out countless new missions related to helping them in their work for a relatively meager amount of contribution points.

And… The elders, with no other mission available, ended up happily taking these brand-new missions without any complaints. Helping the sect’s internal situation to completely stabilize and even show signs of reaching an unprecedented height that it had not even reached under Elder Song’s constant personal management.
