Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

A few minutes before the first Soul Ascension Realm cultivator that Xuan Hao had managed to recruit the sect crossed the border and officially stepped inside the Iron Sky Kingdom, the rabbit demon beast that had recently decided to return and spend some time in the small kingdom it had managed to build for itself inside of the Iron Sky Kingdom through the help of the human it had taken in, noticed the unfamiliar Soul Ascension Realm cultivator suddenly appearing.

Given the rabbit demon beast’s past job of guarding the borders of the Iron Sky Kingdom and the fact that it had prevented no small number of Soul Ascension Realm cultivators from attacking the iron Sky Kingdom in the past, the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator ended up drawing the attention of the rabbit demon beast.

Of course, it didn’t directly charge forward to attack the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator, as the person in question was just lingering around the borders of the Iron Sky Kingdom with a somewhat nervous and excited expression plastered all over his face.

Squeak!?

However, this didn’t last for long, as the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator soon stepped into the Iron Sky Kingdom. Directly trespassing on the territory of the Star Shattering Sect, something completely unacceptable in the eyes of the rabbit demon beast who saw itself as a guardian of the Iron Sky Kingdom. Not just because of its past guarding the Iron Sky Kingdom’s borders, but also because it had its own little kingdom of humans that followed it around and helped gather spirit stones for it to eat whenever it wanted inside of the Iron Sky Kingdom.

Swish-!

For this reason, the rabbit demon beast didn’t even bother thinking about contacting Yi Min about whether this Soul Ascension Realm cultivator was someone that she knew about or not, as it directly charged forward with all its strength to prevent this unknown Soul Ascension Realm cultivator from causing any damage… And...

”Huh? Wha-!?”

Bang!

The result was rather obvious, as the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator that had barely managed to reach the Second Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm stood no chance against the rabbit demon beast that had reached the Sixth Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm.

Not just because of the massive difference in realm between the two of them, but also because the speed of the rabbit demon beast had reached a level that even surpassed that of ordinary Dao Seed Realm cultivators.

Even someone at the Peak of the Soul Ascension Realm would have a hard time even reacting and defending themselves in the face of such a terrifying speed, let alone someone at the Second Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm.

At the very least, the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator who suddenly found himself in the ground without any clue as to why or what had just happened, was lucky that the rabbit demon beast had just launched him flying as a warning instead of killing him on the spot.

In part, this was thanks to Yi Min now being the person back in control of the Iron Sky Kingdom and the fact that she had explicitly told it not to kill everyone at the Soul Ascension Realm who entered the borders of the Iron Sky Kingdom.

The rabbit demon beast had no idea about why, but at least it understood that it had managed to protect its little spirit st- kingdom without any problems.

As for what would happen to the Soul Ascension Ream cultivator now questioning his own life choices in the dirt not too far away? That wasn’t anything for it to concern itself with, as the commotion caused by the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator being knocked into the ground had already alerted Yi Min to the situation and she was already on her way over to deal with the situation.

Whoosh~

Feeling everything, it could do was done, the rabbit demon beast didn’t waste any unnecessary time lingering around the borders of the Iron Sky Kingdom as it left the place before Yi Min had the time to show up.

Leaving the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator in the ground in an even more confused state. Not understanding why, the one who had knocked into to the ground just now just casually left like that without saying anything after knocking him down for no discernable reason.

In the end, he ended up lost in his own thoughts for the next few minutes just staring up at the sky somewhat regretting the spirit stones he had spent to get the Star Shattering Sect’s territory so fast only to get beaten up after taking his first step inside of the sect’s territory before another powerful presence appeared.

Though clearly weaker than the one that had landed him in hist current situation, it was still stronger than him.

Soon enough, he found himself being greeted by the person who introduced herself as the one in control of the Iron Sky Kingdom, a kingdom at the border of the Star Shattering Sect’s territory and an elder of the sect.

After a bit of back and forth while also stating his reason for showing up, he quickly learnt that the one who had beaten him up earlier was the pet of an ancestor from the sect that thought he might have been someone trying to sneak inside of the sect’s territory unannounced, as there had been a few people like that in the past.

That pet should at least be in the Dao Seed Realm from how I wasn’t even able to respond or fight back against it, but… A mere pet is in the Dao Seed Realm…? Looks like the reputation of a hidden ancient sect is well earned…

As the Soul Ascension Realm cultivator felt himself overcome with awe at the prospect that a demon beast in the Dao Seed Relam was nothing more than a pet, he soon found himself at the capital of the Iron Sky Kingdom where he found a teleportation formation that would take him directly to the Star Shattering Sect.

Asking about the teleportation formation, he was surprised to learn that the Star Shattering Sect had a teleportation network established throughout its entire territory centered around different important locations.

Given that the sect had only recently emerged from what he had learnt, he couldn’t help asking where these teleportation formations had come from. Only to learn that an ancestor of the sect had set up the teleportation network in a period of a few months after the sect had entered the spotlight.

By far, this was the most shocking thing he had learnt about the Star Shattering Sect so far.

After all, even though the Star Shattering Sect’s territory is far smaller than a major power like the Blue Sea Empire or Crimson Dragon Empire, the establishment of teleportation formations is something incredibly difficult and normally takes a long time to even set up a single connection.

The reason for this being that setting up a stable teleportation formation connecting two different locations requires not only deep understanding of the Dao of Formations, but also an understanding of the Dao of Space.

Normally this is done through the cooperation of several skilled formation masters coordinating with a skilled cultivator with an understanding of the Dao of Space, a process that normally takes dozens- if not hundreds of years to accomplish.

All this excluding the massive number of rare materials required in the creation of a single stable teleportation formation. Not to mention an entire network of teleportation formations linked together.

If the Dao Seed Realm pet was enough to convince him that the Star Shattering Sect was an ancient hidden sect, then the simple fact that it had the resources and ability to establish an entire teleportation network, though small in scale compared to that of other major powers, was more than enough for him to feel that all the spirit stones he had used rushing over was more than worth it.

However, this awe and profound respect he felt towards the Star Shattering Sect only increased further, as he officially stepped through the teleportation formation and found himself at the base of the Ninth Star Peak leading into the Shattered Star Peaks.

Although he had not yet stepped onto the Ninth Star Peak and entered the Shattered Star Peaks, he could still feel the vast spiritual qi leaking out from the area around the path into the Shattered Star Peaks.

If he had been worried about the cultivation environment he would find himself in after joining the Star Shattering Sect located far away from the central region of the continent in the past, he was now wishing that he would be able to enter the sect as fast as possible to cultivate and never return to the now rather poor cultivation conditions found in the Eastern Central Region that he had lived in before.

Now, the only problem standing before him was the second evaluation he would have to go through to officially become part of the Star Shattering Sect…
