Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Deciding that he was going to try and recruit the Qing and Zhang Clan instead of the Xue Clan, Xuan Hao left the large street in front of the entrance to the Xue Clan estate just in time to witness a Soul Ascension Realm Elder from the Xue Clan emerge to disperse the crowd of people that had gathered following the commotion caused by the clan’s young master.

Of course, this was not the only reason for this elder’s appearance, as he had also shown up to try and figure out if what had happened to their young master was the doing of someone from the Qing or Zhang Clan. After all, it was difficult to believe that someone in the Nascent Soul Realm would simply trip and fall to the ground several times in a row.

Unfortunately, no matter how hard he looked for any culprits, he was bound to end up with nothing, as there was no way someone in the Soul Ascension Realm could notice the subtle spatial fluctuations. Even someone in the Dao Seed Realm would find it close to impossible to notice unless they had comprehended the Dao of Space… And that would only be the case for the next few seconds, as any traces would soon disappear when the space stabilized again.

In the end, the elder from the Xue Clan could only let go of his suspicions as he returned to the Xue Clan Estate. Concluding that the young master had really ended up tripping by himself without any outside interference.

After all, that was something far more believable than someone having deliberately done so while also managing to avoid leaving any traces behind for him to detect.

Even if it had been someone in the Dao Seed Realm, he should have been able to detect possible traces. Meaning that it would have had to have been someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm taking action to trip their young master, but… That was something far less believable compared to the young master just tripping on his own a few times in a row.

After all, if their young master really offended someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm, it was far more likely that he would end up dead instead of just tripping and falling considering that someone in the Celestial Immortal Realm wouldn’t care much about the Xue Clan or the ancestor.

In turn, as the young master recovered from what happened, he ended up secluding himself inside his room without daring to take a single step outside until he reached the Domain Lord Realm where he would be able to use his domain to fly and avoid any possibility of tripping ever again…

Unaware of any of this and the trauma he ended up causing for the young master of the Xue Clan, Xuan Hao arrived in front of the entrance of the Zhang Clan. Having decided on first visiting this clan due to the fact that the younger generation of the Zhang Clan seemed far calmer and more refined compared to the other two clans.

Another reason was that although the Qing Clan was weaker, it wasn’t that much different from the Xue Clan upon further investigation. Making him feel that the Zhang Clan might end up being the only clan that would end up suitable for recruitment inside of the city.

Not that any of this really affected him so to speak, as even a single clan joining the Star Shattering Sect would be a tremendous boon to the Star Shattering Sect given that even the weakest of the three clans, the Zhang Clan, had at least seven people in the Soul Ascension Realm together with their Dao Seed Realm ancestor.

Walking up towards the entrance to the Zhang Clan’s estate, it didn’t take long before the two people guarding the entrance noticed him walking over.

”Stop! This is the Zhang Clan Territory!”

Unsurprisingly, one of the two called out to him before stepping forward to meet him before he got too close to the estate. Showing that the guards were well trained and understanding him getting too close to the entrance might present an opportunity for him to force his way inside if he had bad intentions.

At the same time, the guard calling out also alerted the Soul Ascension Realm Elder who was secretly guarding the entrance to the estate. Ensuring that even if Xuan Hao managed to rush past the two of them, there would still be someone present to stop him before he managed to enter the estate.

Of course, all of these precautions were useless against Xuan Hao considering his current strength that was comparable to the Late Stage of the Dao Seed Realm. Not to mention his comprehension of the Dao of Space that would enable him to easily bypass the formation guarding the Zhang Clan.

However, given that his intentions for showing up were not hostile and he was planning on recruiting the Zhang Clan to join the Star Shattering Sect, he calmly walked up and met the approaching guard with a slight smile on his face. Indicating that he did not come with hostile intentions.

”Sir, this is the Zhang Clan’s Estate, may I ask what reason you have for coming here?” Seeing that Xuan Hao didn’t seem to have any hostile intentions and calmly came forward to meet him, the guard calmed down a bit before asking this. Understanding that he might have some reason for coming to the estate.

”I have come with a proposal for the Zhang Clan and want to meet with your ancestor” Still smiling with a kind expression on his face, Xuan Hao directly stated his intentions for a conversation with the ancestor of the Zhang Clan-

”The one hidden over there should be more than happy to go and inform your ancestor about this little request of mine.”

However, before the guard could say anything, he directly pointed out the elder in the Soul Ascension Realm hidden not too far away. Showing that his cultivation was far greater than the Domain Lord Realm cultivation base he showed outwardly.

”This-!”

Realizing that the person in front of him was not someone that he could deal with, the guard nervously turned around to glance in the direction of his senior. Hoping for guidance.

However, what the guard didn’t know was that in the brief moment Xuan Hao had glanced over towards the hidden elder; he had deliberately leaked a bit of his strength, causing the elder of the Zhang Clan to shiver all over. Understanding that this person was not someone he could deal with.

”Wait here, I will inform the ancestor of the situation first and let him decide.”

For this reason, the guard could only watch in shock as the elder he had learnt to rely on disappeared. Leaving him alone with Xuan Hao, a terrifying being who was above him in strength.

The only thing that allowed him to stay somewhat calm in this kind of situation was the fact that Xuan Hao didn’t seem to have any hostile intentions towards the Zhang Clan and the fact that the ancestor was still around.

Even if Xuan Hao was someone powerful in the Soul Ascension Realm, he believed that the ancestor should be more than strong enough to handle him, as he was one of the few who had a chance to personally watch their ancestor fighting in the past.

In turn, seeing the fearful guard barely keeping himself together as he tried his best to present himself as someone calm without the slightest bit of worry, Xuan Hao could not help silently chuckling to himself as he looked off in the direction that the Soul Ascension Realm elder had disappeared in. Feeling curious about the ancestor of the Zhang Clan and how he would react to his little meeting request.

At first, he had planned to just directly use his Dao of Space to enter the Zhang Clan Estate and meet the ancestor of the Zhang Clan while also demonstrating his strength in the process, but upon second thought, he felt that it would be better to request a meeting.

The main reason being that going through the first path that would undoubtedly demonstrate his strength, he would also end up revealing his presence to the other two Dao Seed Realm cultivators in the city.

Given that he wanted to try and also recruit the Qing Clan if possible after the Zhang Clan, he decided on taking things slower and just requested a meeting.

Of course, to ensure that he didn’t end up being ignored, he revealed a bit of strength to the people guarding the entrance. Ensuring that the ancestor of the Zhang Clan would end up learning about his presence…

”Senior, please follow me, the ancestor will meet you.”

And only a few minutes later, the elder who had hurried off to inform the ancestor returned with a respectful expression on his face while signaling for him to follow.
