Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Moving a bit closer to the sealed sandworm and finding a sand dune that didn’t have any sandworm hidden inside of it, Chu Yang sat down on the side of the sand dune facing away from the sealed sand worm to avoid being accidentally discovered by the human cultivators while not paying attention before sitting down to start his break through to the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm.

Rustle~

Soon enough, the special sand floated in front of him as a strange aura began to emerge that Chu Yang quickly absorbed into his body before directing it towards his dantian.

This strange power emerging from the special sand was what would help him reach the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm, as he had already found out through testing it himself and overhearing others that this strange power had the effect of strengthening one’s domain.

Considering his comprehension of the Dao of the Spear had already reached the Elementary Realm, the only thing he needed to progress through the Domain Lord Realm was to strengthen his soul and domain, something that the strange power inside the special sand was perfect for. Allowing him to soon begin rapidly ascending from the Early Stage of the Eighth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm towards the middle stage… Late Stage and soon reach the Peak of the Eighth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm in no more than a few hours after starting to absorb the strange power from around 1000 grains of the special sand.

Normally, he would first spend some time stabilizing his cultivation realm before he tried to break through, but he didn’t have time for this, as his rapid improvement had already started to leak out some of his aura into the surroundings. Stirring some of the nearby sleeping sandworms.

Because of this, he directly used another 500 hundred grains of the special sand to rapidly consolidate his cultivation base at the Peak of the Eighth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm. Leaving him with around 8500 grains of special sand to attempt a breakthrough to the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm.

Rumble~!

Not hesitating for even a second after he felt his cultivation base had stabilized, Chu Yang directly began to breakthrough to the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm with the assistance of the special sand. Using his already strong comprehension of the Dao of the Spear to forcibly expand his domain in this situation. Pushing his realm past the bottleneck in the short span of a few seconds by burning through a little under 7500 of the 8500 special grains of sand he had left.

BOOOM-!

Only a second after pushing past the bottleneck, a terrifying presence belonging to someone at the Peak of the Domain Lord Realm rushed out from him with an unstoppable momentum that was impossible to prevent. Instantly alerting not just the sleeping sandworms to his presence, but also catching the attention of the group of human cultivators who had remained fully focused on attacking the third major chain sealing the massive sandworm.

Rumble~

Knowing that he had little time now that he had been discovered and the sandworms all around him started waking up, Chu Yang didn’t hesitate in directly consuming strange power inside the remaining thousand or so grains of special sand. Rapidly stabilizing his cultivation base at the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm.

Although far from perfect and definitely something he could improve on, it was more than enough for him at the moment as he clearly felt that his current cultivation base had been stabilized to some extent.

Rumble!

Just at that moment, as he was about to turn around and run away, the first sandworm sleeping inside one of the nearby sand dunes woke up. Slowly rolling over in a still drowsy state after being suddenly woken up.

Whoosh-!

Not intending to stay around any longer than necessary now that he had completed his goal, Chu Yang directly took off using his fastest movement technique to move in the direction he had determined to be leading outside the desert before he had begun his breakthrough to the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm.

RUUUUMBLE-!

Following him starting to run away, the sandworms sleeping beneath the sand dunes both behind and in front of him started to rapidly wake up before looking around themselves confused for a few seconds before the first among them realized what was happening and began to chase after the escaping Chu Yang followed by the rest soon realizing what was happening as they followed suit.

Soon enough resulting in more than a dozen of the Soul Ascension realm sandworms chasing after Chu Yang as he kept running with all of his strength. Not yet having used the talisman given to him by his master, as there was no need for him to do so before he was in a life and death situation.

And although the sandworms were at the Soul Ascension Realm, he had a good head start and was far stronger than a normal Peak Domain Lord Realm cultivator. Allowing him to keep the Soul Ascension Realm sandworms from reaching him immediately.

In his head, he was silently praying that he would at least be able to reach the safe zone before having to use the talisman from his master, as only then would he no longer have to worry about any sandworms in front of him blocking his path.

ROOOOOOAR-!

However, just as he spotted the familiar sandworm leisurely roaming at the edge of the established safe zone, a loud roar echoed throughout the entire desert- no, the entire secret realm, as every Domain Lord Realm cultivator currently inside the secret realm shivered under the terrifying power that accompanied the roar.

”This is… E-Earth Immortal Realm (Dao Seed Realm)! An Earth Immortal Realm (Dao Seed Realm) demon beast!”

”Leave… We have to leave immediately before that demon beast comes here and goes on a rampage!”

”ESCAPE!”

Not just Xuan Hao, but every single Domain Lord Realm cultivator currently inside the secret realm began panicking as they all rushed towards the gate leading out of the secret realm. Understanding that staying inside the secret realm with such a powerful demon beast clearly angered running rampant was nothing short of taking the fast lane to the netherworld.
