Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Knowing the difficulties that stood before him if he wanted to try and reach the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm before the secret realm closed, Chu Yang could not help closing his eyes for a brief moment as he thought about how to go about his current situation.

Even if he went out and tried to search the secret realm for opportunities to help him increase his cultivation realm to the Ninth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm, it was still uncertain whether or not he would be able to find such opportunities. Especially considering that most of the safe opportunities that might have been around when the secret realm had first opened should have already been seized while he had been busy stabilizing his cultivation realm at the Eighth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm after consuming the source crystal.

With that in mind, any of the opportunities that might still be available inside the secret realm at the moment would undoubtedly also have countless dangers involved. Likely not any less dangerous than the dangers he had faced when seizing the source crystal at the ancient ruins.

But… Considering that he now only had two talismans given by his master to protect himself while he was out adventuring, he really couldn’t afford to use any of them to try and seize another opportunity like he had done with the source crystal.

After all, he would at least need to use one after leaving the secret realm in the future, while it wouldn’t be a bad idea to keep a second one on him in case, he encountered any unexpected dangers on the rest of the journey back to the sect. Even more so considering that the mountain range he would have to pass through to get back into the territory of the now fallen Sky Empire was in no way safe for someone in the Domain Lord Realm like himself.

At most, he could hope that he would be able to somehow get his hands on the safe passage through the mountain range by asking around inside the Deep Pit City or other cities located at the edges of the mountain range.

”Haaa… Why do I feel like getting back to the sect is going to be far more troublesome than getting here in the first place…” Muttering this to himself as he thought about the future struggles he would have to endure when trying to get back to his sect, Chu Yang smiled wryly to himself as he slowly made his way back out in the open after months spend cultivating in seclusion.

Though not much had changed when it came to the surroundings outside the place, he had decided to seclude himself for the past few months, he still noticed signs of fighting not too far away.

Looking closer, it seemed to have been a clash between two Domain Lord Realm cultivators that had ended at least a week ago given the energy still lingering in the air. Likely a fight over a treasure of some kind- Not that it mattered to Chu Yang, as he was only interested in finding out about what had taken place inside the secret realm since he had secluded himself to reach the Eighth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm.

After all, the last thing he wanted to do was accidentally walk into a place with a Soul Ascension Realm demon beast lurking.

Instead of that, it would be far better for him to find someone else who had entered the secret realm and was on the weaker side so he could take advantage of them to gather some information about the different dangerous areas that should have been discovered inside the secret realm at this point in time-

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Luckily for him, he didn’t have to go out and search for long, as the sounds of fighting soon echoed out in the distance before growing closer and closer to where he was.

Even better, he could clearly sense the strength of the ones currently locked in battle with each other had only just reached the Second Stage of the Domain Lord Realm, with the strongest among the two being in the later stages of the realm and the weaker struggling party seemingly having broken through only recently.

With his current strength, they essentially posed no threat to him and were perfect when it came to his objective of gathering information about the current situation of the secret realm.

Whoosh~!

Not wasting any time after these thoughts passed through his head, Chu Yang stepped forward and flew in the direction of the two battling Domain Lord Realm cultivators. Intending to capture one of the two for information.

Soon enough arriving directly at the devasted part of a large lake where the two Domain Lord Realm cultivators were battling each other.

”Huh? This-!?”

”L-Late Stage Domain Lord!?”

Not long after he arrived, the two Domain Lord Realm cultivators fighting each other to the death instantly froze on the spot as they sensed the terrifying presence of Chu Yang’s Eighth Stage Domain Lord Realm cultivation base, both of them shivering at the prospect of having to face someone who could be considered among the strongest of the Domain Lord Realm who had entered the secret realm.

”S-Senior, is there anything we can help with…?”

Knowing the danger of the current situation and knowing that it would be best for them not to anger this senior figure who had suddenly shown up all of a sudden, the weaker among the two Domain Lords quickly took the incentive and stepped forward to ask in a somewhat fearful manner.

Clearly hoping that the person in front of him wasn’t here for the same reason as the one he had been fighting to the death seconds earlier.

”Yes, I want information on the current situation of the secret realm.” Not aware of these thoughts, Chu Yang just nodded his head emotionlessly while secretly feeling happy that he might be able to resolve the situation without having to forcibly extract the information he wanted.

Indeed… Having a powerful cultivation base was convenient when it came to these kind of things…
