Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Spending the next few days searching for spiritual stones among the decaying palaces, Mui and the demon beasts soon managed to gather the required spirit stones for activating the teleportation formation without running into any problems along the way.

Well… Not entirely without any problems, as there was one incident with an ancient golem walking straight through the place where the teleportation formation was located.

Luckily, the ancient golem didn’t end up causing any damage to the formation and passed through without causing any problems. Allowing Mui and the demon beasts who had been watching the situation unfold from the side to let out a sigh of relief.

After all, if the teleportation formation ended up destroyed, they would have to spend an unknown amount of time searching for a second intact teleportation formation.

Under normal circumstances, this might not have been that much of a problem, but… The terrifying battle between the ancient golems and the demon beasts that should have reached the Soul Ascension realm had already entered the palace complex and was moving in their direction.

If they ended up wasting too much time and the formation was destroyed as the battle reached it, they might end up being forced to not only have to avoid the ancient golems roaming the ancient palace complex, but also the terrifying battle that was sweeping through the palace complex and could be heading towards them at any moment.

For this reason alone, Mui wanted to activate the teleportation formation as fast as possible and leave the ancient city before any of those things had a chance to impact her or her newly tamed army of fluffy demon beasts.

Rumble~!

As a result, after placing the spiritual stone that had been gathered in the decaying palace ruins for the last few days inside the ancient teleportation formation, Mui watched nervously as the formation symbols slowly lit up.

Hoping that the large number of spiritual stones gathered would be enough to activate the formation and allow them to leave the ancient city ruins, she stepped back together with the demon beasts and waited for it to fully activate.

Of course, to ensure that the spirit stones were placed in a correct location for the formation to continue absorbing, she made sure to keep an eye on them and move them in case they were placed in place that the formation couldn’t absorb them.

Whoosh-!

In the end, a few hours in this manner, as Mui and the demon beasts watched the ancient teleportation formation come to life before a massive gate was constructed at the center of the formation. Establishing a stable spatial passage connected to somewhere outside the ancient city.

It really was a teleportation formation!

Seeing the spatial passage appear, Mui could not help breathing out a sigh of relief.

After all, though she was confident that the formation was a teleportation formation given its somewhat central position, she wasn’t a hundred percent certain about this.

Only after seeing the spatial passage herself, did she finally manage to confirm that it was indeed a teleportation formation.

So, with that in mind, Mui made sure that there were enough spiritual stones around for the teleportation formation to remain active for at least another few hours in its current state before she rushed towards it together with the demon beasts.

After all, she was not sure if the teleportation formation running out of spiritual qi before they passed through it would end up causing any problems.

As for the matter of attracting any ancient golems with the activation of the teleportation formation… Mui didn’t bother thinking about this, as there was no way around it.

All they could do was hope that whatever ancient golem ended up showing up didn’t just outright destroy the ancient teleportation formation.

Whoosh-!

And it was with these worrying thoughts about what might end up happening to the teleportation formation, that Mui entered the spatial passage together with the demon beasts.

Silently praying that the location they ended up in after passing through the teleportation formation wasn’t anywhere more dangerous than the ancient city.

ROOOOAR-!

In the end, the last thing she ended up hearing before being swallowed by the spatial powers of the teleportation formation was the excited roar of the terrifying demon beast that had been fighting with the ancient golems not too far away from her and the demon beasts.

It wants to use the teleportation formation to escape the ancient city!

Realizing what the terrifying demon beast wanted to do as she felt herself being shuttled through space at a terrifying speed, Mui knew that she would have to destroy the ancient teleportation formation after she got to the other side… And do so as fast as possible!

After all, if the terrifying demon beast managed to successfully reach the other side of the teleportation formation like them, they would not have any way to resist against the terrifying demon beast if it decided to try and kill them.

Even if Mui still had talismans left by her master that could deal with it, she had no plans of using any of them unless absolutely necessary. Especially in an unknown location, where using such a thing might end up drawing the attention of even more powerful demon beasts or ancient golems.

Whoosh~!

”Everyone! destroy the formation! Quick!”

So, after a few minutes of travel through the spatial passage, Mui didn’t hesitate to command the group of demon beasts to attack and destroy the teleportation formation before even looking around to take in her new surroundings.

Only really using her divine sense to ensure that there weren’t any powerful demon beasts or golems around them at the other side of the teleportation formation.

Rooar!

Roar!

Growl~!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Hearing Mui’s command, the demon beasts hesitated for a short moment before following her command to destroy the formation. Not holding back, as the already fragile ancient teleportation formation soon crumbled under their combined strength. Not able to hold on for more than a few seconds.

bit slow on release, another chapter will be released at some point later today.
