Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Different from the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm following the path of a single dao, the one he followed that required the comprehension of multiple Daos was far more difficult. Requiring him to comprehend three different Daos to the Realm of Perfection and six to the Large Success Realm.

With a dao in the Realm of Perfection creating six layers around his dao lotus and one in the Large Success Realm creating three layers, he would end up with a perfect 36 layers around his dao lotus by the end. Archiving the realm of Radiant Bloom.

However, he had already comprehended 10 Different Daos at this point in time and would essentially go beyond the 36 layers around the dao lotus if he tried to break through to the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm in this manner…

Fortunately, he was not left completely without hope, as the scroll did note down that something like that had happened in the past.

Unfortunately, the way to solve this problem was not what he liked, as it was essentially a pat on the shoulder from the creator of the scroll telling him to pray that his dao lotus could hold on and didn’t end up blowing up under the stress of the additional layers.

In this way, he also found out that the limit of 36 layers wasn’t really a limit of the maximum number of layers that could be constructed around the dao lotus, but was essentially the limit deemed to be within the relative safe zone, as going beyond it would force the cultivator to squeeze the dao lotus to prevent it from blooming, something that came with the wonderful risk of the dao lotus being squeezed by the layers and in turn rupturing under the stress, causing an explosion that carried with it the force to even kill a Profound Immortal standing a few thousand meters away.

”Pray to not blow up in the future…” Muttering this to himself as he looked down at the scroll in front of him, Xuan Hao realized that it would be quite dangerous for him to continue creating any more layers around his dao lotus with Daos that he didn’t intend to focus on raising to at least the Large Success Realm in the future.

At the very least, he found out about this before he ended up comprehending another five or so Daos and used them to create even more layers around his dao lotus thinking it would be a shortcut to reach the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm that he thought was waiting for him after he created 36 layers around his dao lotus.

”Haaa… Can’t undo what is already done…” Shaking his head as he decided to no longer think about it for now, Xuan Hao focused his attention back towards the bottom part of the scroll that was about the different benefits of going through the Dao Domain Lord Realm instead of going through the traditional route of the Soul Ascension Realm.

First of all, the Early or Initial Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm didn’t bring any benefits and one would end up being forced to go through the entire Immortal Soul Tribulation. Resulting in most people breaking through in the Early Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm perishing under the Immortal Soul Tribulation.

Next up, the Intermediate or Middle Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm did bring benefits in the form of being able to create 36 layers around the dao lotus in the Dao Seed Realm instead of the normal 30. Allowing them to create a stronger foundation and have a better chance of reaching the Profound Immortal Realm in the future.

Following this was the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, the realm that he was currently at and also starting to consider whether or not he might need to give up on trying to reach the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm if things got too dangerous.

At the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, one could be considered a genius according to the scroll and the benefits one would receive from breaking through in this realm were also far better compared to those of previous two realms.

Not only allowing the creation of 36 layers around the dao lotus, but also giving one an opportunity to undergo an enlightenment directly supported by the world itself.

Although Xuan Hao had no idea what this, enlightenment support by the world, was about, he still remembered the old man he had met from the Fallen Immortal Archipelago had told him that a genius from his clan had been able to directly break through to the Profound Immortal Realm due to this enlightenment. Making Xuan Hao certain that it wasn’t anything to scoff at.

Finally, there were the benefits from reaching the Peak Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, his now more distant than ever goal.

Reaching this realm, even in the ancient past, would make one a widely known genius on the level of the inheritors carefully raised by the different pinnacle forces.

The benefits of reaching did change much from the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, as it in a sense only had involved the same enlightenment as before.

However, different from the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm where one could use this enlightenment to break through to the Profound Immortal Realm, someone at the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm would naturally reach the Profound Immortal Realm upon reaching the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm. Allowing them to use this enlightenment in a different manner.

According to the person who wrote the scroll, the most common way for the cultivator to use the enlightenment being to directly breeze through the Breaking Dawn Realm of the Profound Immortal Realm and reach the Sea Formation Realm in a single step.

But the most important thing was that the enlightenment guided by the world allowed one to establish a perfect foundation after reaching the Profound Immortal Realm. Allowing smooth progress through the Profound Immortal Realm and essentially guaranteeing that the person would be able to reach the Peak of the Profound Immortal Realm if they didn’t die beforehand.

”This…”

Finished reading through the scroll, Xuan Hao had no idea how to react, as he could only stare at the scroll blankly for a moment. Wondering whether or not he should try to directly break through to the Profound Immortal Realm and give up trying to reach the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, but these thoughts were quickly banished after realizing that he wasn’t really in a hurry to reach the Profound Immortal Realm and could take his time trying to comprehend the required Daos, he was, after all, still rather young.

Even if he had no idea what the benefits of a perfect foundation were, he was certain that it would be something good considering that it was directly mentioned. Not just that but breaking through at the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm would also allow him to skip past the Breaking Dawn Realm and allow him to directly reach the Sea Formation Realm.

And, considering that one of the requirements for awakening his Stellar Dao Body was to reach the Land Creation Realm that was above the Sea Formation Realm in the Profound Immortal Realm, he would be more than happy if he could skip past a minor realm in the Profound Immortal Realm. Especially considering that he had no idea how long it would take for him to break through after he reached the Profound Immortal Realm in the future.

At the very least, considering his current speed and how much it had slowed down after he had reached the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, he had a feeling that he would most likely be spending a long time trying to break through the further he went.

Even reaching the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm at his current speed of comprehension without any outside assistance would at least take him a few hundred years. Making him realize that his future breakthrough time might end up being measured in the hundreds- if not thousands of years…

”Haaa… That’s something for the future. For now, I should focus on trying to find some combat technique to use my last 30 celestial coins on…” shaking his head as he muttered this to himself, Xuan Hao had only now come to the painful realization that this was indeed an immortal world and what he was practicing was indeed immortal cultivation.

The long time for breaking through that had managed to elude him so far finally seemed to have crept up on him as his cultivation realm rapidly improved. Soon enough, he would really end up as some ancient fossil that had lived for thousands of years, a fate that seemed inevitable for any cultivator who cultivated to a high enough realm…
