I am the Ultimate Villain, So What If I Kill a Protagonist

209: Chapter 209 Small-time hoodlum Sima LeiMolten iron, the tiger bench, chili water, lighting the sky lamp, flying a kite—Jiesha had taken the Ten Great Tortures of the Qing Dynasty and added some unique methods of his own to them.

Such tortures were simply beyond human imagination, and even further beyond human endurance.

Among the Four Great Guardians of the Nether Palace, Per had the least backbone.

This was hardly surprising; Per was originally a little princess from a Western aristocratic family, noble by birth.

Unlike Master Bai Mudan and Ye Yun, who had spent years walking on the edge of life and death, Per, although a merciless female demon who killed without blinking, was defined by her noble upbringing.

In Chu Yuan’s experience, it seemed that in his past life, the soldiers who surrendered the most and were the most afraid of death were also from the West.

When fulfilling their duties and missions, they would indeed do their utmost to complete them.

But if they were accidentally captured alive by the enemy, they were not the type to choose death over surrender.

If there was a hope of survival, they would undoubtedly raise their hands and surrender without hesitation.

Furthermore, with the horrific methods of Jiesha, let alone a cowardly Per, even if Ye Yun, the Protagonist and God of War, were to come, Jiesha would make him wish for death, skin him, and torture him until he begged for mercy on his knees.

Chu Yuan was pondering what strategy to use to play a little game with Master Bai Mudan.

Just as he was deep in thought, the phone beside him suddenly rang, interrupting his train of thought.

”Young Master, you had The Monk keep an eye on those sewer exits, and it really paid off. A woman has come out of a sewer exit.”

Upon receiving the call, Chu Yuan heard the voice of Jiesha.

When he had first found Master Bai Mudan’s hiding place, Chu Yuan had not hesitated in the slightest. He had immediately sent a message to Mo Chou, ordering him to lead the experts of the Dragon Group to surround the area and launch a full-scale assault on Master Bai Mudan.

Chu Yuan knew very well that for someone like Master Bai Mudan, even with Mo Chou well-prepared and supported by Dragon Group experts and heavy weaponry, killing her would not be an easy task.

Therefore, Chu Yuan’s true objective was not to use Mo Chou and the others to slaughter Master Bai Mudan, but merely to inflict heavy injuries upon her.

”Has Master Bai Mudan finally come out? I knew this woman wouldn’t be slaughtered by Mo Chou and his men so easily.”

Sighing, Chu Yuan regained his composure and asked calmly, ”What is Master Bai Mudan’s current condition? Has she been beaten badly by Mo Chou and his men?”

”Mo Chou and the Dragon Group used over a dozen rocket launchers and severely wounded Master Bai Mudan.”

”Shrapnel from the rockets has embedded itself in Master Bai Mudan’s flesh, leaving her critically injured.”

”After escaping from the sewer, Master Bai Mudan hid in a nearby bush to recover. She has no medical tools or medication, so she cannot suppress her injuries; in fact, they will only worsen.”

”She is likely waiting for the cover of night to find another place to tend to her wounds.”

At that moment, Jiesha was following right beside Master Bai Mudan, less than two or three hundred meters away.

His round eyes watched as Master Bai Mudan limped into the bushes.

The sight of her fleeing in such a panic was as pathetic as it could be.

After confirming Master Bai Mudan had fled, Jiesha did not hesitate and immediately reported all the details of her situation to his Young Master.

Master Bai Mudan’s strength was indeed not to be underestimated; she was far more powerful than Ye Yun.

It was just a pity that her strength was only relative to outsiders.

To ordinary people, Master Bai Mudan’s strength was terrifying, and her senses were far superior to others; she would notice even the slightest disturbance in her surroundings.

Anyone who came within a hundred meters of Master Bai Mudan would be detected by her.

Unfortunately, Master Bai Mudan was currently severely injured. Coupled with Jiesha’s current martial arts prowess, following her silently without being detected was a simple matter.

”Continue following that woman, Master Bai Mudan. If there are any unexpected developments, report to me immediately.”

Upon hearing that Master Bai Mudan had been severely wounded and had to limp while walking, Chu Yuan remained indifferent, showing not the slightest intention of pitying her.

After instructing Jiesha to continue tracking Master Bai Mudan, Chu Yuan turned around and ordered Zuo Shishi, who was beside him:

”Keep a close eye on that woman, Per. She is in charge of intelligence for the Nether Palace and possesses a bit of cunning; you must not be careless.”

”If she is willing to submit to us, destroying the Nether Palace will be effortless. If she remains stubborn and even considers escaping, there is no need to ask for instructions—kill her immediately.”

With Chu Yuan’s current strength and the resources of the Chu family, he did not take a mere Per to heart.

If she could be recruited, having such a person to help him better destroy the Nether Palace would naturally be for the best.

If this woman harbored any other ulterior motives, he would have no choice but to be ruthless and send her on her way.

After arranging everything, Chu Yuan found some simpler clothing and, following the intelligence provided earlier by Zuo Shishi, arrived at Sima Lei’s residence.

”What do you want, kid?”

A man with dyed yellow hair, wearing two large earrings and light green clothes—clearly dressed like a thug—looked guilty and nervous as soon as he saw Chu Yuan approach him.

Sima Lei was originally an uneducated thug; he only worked for the Nether Palace out of greed for their money.

However, because he was addicted to drinking, gambling, and womanizing, and spent money lavishly, he had long since squandered all the money the Nether Palace had given him and had accumulated an unknown amount of debt.

When Chu Yuan suddenly approached him at this moment, he assumed it was one of his creditors coming to collect, and naturally felt a sense of fear.

”You must be Sima Lei. I’ve heard that you’ve been doing work for some rather secretive people. I wonder if that’s true.”

”You... what nonsense are you spouting, kid? I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

When Chu Yuan said this, Sima Lei became even more nervous, stammering and continuing to forcefully deny it.

Clearly, he had no intention of revealing that he was working for certain mysterious forces.

Of course, Sima Lei also had no idea what kind of mysterious force was giving him money and directing him; he had absolutely no clue who he was working for.
