I am the Ultimate Villain, So What If I Kill a Protagonist

202: Chapter 202 Confirmed with the Virus, Utterly MadTo find out if Liu Ruyan had contracted aids, Ye Yun had to whisper softly, coaxing the woman first.

Looking at Liu Ruyan’s angry expression, she didn’t seem to know that she had contracted this disgusting aids.

Based on Ye Yun’s understanding of Liu Ruyan, she was just a village woman living in widowhood who kept to herself; she absolutely would not have gotten involved with such a dirty disease as aids.

He didn’t want to be infected with this strange disease without knowing why; even if he were to die, he had to get to the bottom of the truth and absolutely could not die a fool.

He now desperately wanted to know what his Sister Ruyan had experienced to have contracted such a thing.

Being pulled into Ye Yun’s embrace so suddenly, Liu Ruyan was shaken.

She forced herself to pull it together, suppressing the complex emotions in her heart, and feigned ignorance: ”What is this hiv thing? Looking at how nervous you are, is it some kind of terrifying virus?”

”hiv is extremely troublesome. Once you are infected, it is incurable. It is a dirty disease that everyone finds repulsive.”

”Of course, the outbreak of this virus varies from person to person, but no matter how lucky you are, once you are infected, it will eventually flare up. Once it reaches the late stage, it is incurable, and you can only live for a few years at most.”

”Only a few years left if it flares up?”

Liu Ruyan’s lips trembled slightly. After hearing Ye Yun’s words, she looked as if she had lost her soul.

It seemed that Ye Yun’s words about not having many years left to live had completely shocked her.

The hands that were tightly hugging Ye Yun were trembling uncontrollably.

”Sister Ruyan, I’m not joking with you. This aids virus is quite terrifying and has extremely strong infectivity.”

”If you really have contracted this virus, and I had relations with you last night, I’m afraid I’m also doomed.”

”So you must tell me what is going on with these heat rashes on your body so that I can judge whether you have contracted this disease.”

While comforting Liu Ruyan, Ye Yun finally asked about the thing he was most concerned about.

Because at this moment, he was eagerly wanting to know how his Sister Ruyan, who he remembered as being like a lotus rising from the mud without being stained, had become involved with something as dirty as aids.

”I can’t really say how it started,” she replied.

”I only know that this thing first appeared as a patch the size of a palm under my neck, and it didn’t feel itchy or painful at all.”

”Now, five or six years have passed. I have tried to treat it, asking the old village doctor to prescribe many medicines, but it has never been cured.”

Under Ye Yun’s careful comfort, Liu Ruyan finally overcame the fear in her heart.

Her crystal-clear eyes were still slowly dripping tears as she choked out the story of her experience to Ye Yun.

Upon hearing Liu Ruyan’s explanation, Ye Yun was speechless.

In other words, Liu Ruyan had had this disease for five or six years. Combined with her current physical condition, it was likely late-stage aids, and all of her immune systems had likely been completely conquered by the hiv virus.

He really was targeted by fate; in his weakest moment, he had muddled through and had relations that shouldn’t have happened with Liu Ruyan, who was in the late stages of aids.

”Oh, I remember something.”

Liu Ruyan patted her head, suddenly thinking of something.

Her rosy cheeks instantly turned pale, and she recounted tremblingly: ”That dead ghost of mine in our family had that full body of heat rashes before he died, and in the end, the rashes festered and he died without being cured.”

”People in the village spread rumors that that dead ghost of mine went to the city to sell things, took the money, and went to those flower streets and willow alleys to find those disreputable people.”

”Could it be that this disgusting disease was passed to me by that dead ghost?”

Clearly, under the skinning and bone-scraping scrutiny of the two great detectives, Ye Yun and Liu Ruyan, the truth had come to light.

And when Ye Yun heard that it was actually Liu Ruyan’s husband who had gone out to carouse and drink, contracted the disease, and then brought it to Liu Ruyan, he realized that he had been killed by Liu Ruyan’s husband, that stinking loser he had never met.

This perfectly fit the saying: wild flowers by the roadside are poisonous; never pick them casually, because they will cost you your life.

Ye Yun hated himself so much. He thought to himself, you were already seriously ill and muddled, yet you still managed to pounce on your savior—it was simply harming others and yourself.

”Ye Yun, you are from the city and know much more than we people in the countryside.”

”When that dead ghost went to the hospital for treatment, he left behind a medical record. Help me look at it and see if it is the hiv virus you mentioned.”

Looking at Ye Yun, who was trembling from head to toe just from his own few words, Liu Ruyan looked triumphant.

Taking advantage of Ye Yun being scared half to death by her, Liu Ruyan seized the opportunity to go to the bedside table, rummaged around, and finally found a document—it was exactly her dead husband’s critical illness notice.

”Shanghai Eighth Hospital, Terminal hiv Patient Zhang Erniu Critical Illness Notice.”

When Ye Yun saw the critical illness notice in his hand, especially the red seal from the Shanghai Eighth Hospital, it was particularly eye-catching.

Ye Yun’s eyes widened, his mouth agape as if it could fit a goose egg, and he almost ascended to heaven on the spot.

”Terminal aids patient, terminal aids patient... so it really was like this.”

Ye Yun muttered in despair.

Both Ye Yun and Liu Ruyan fell into deep thought.

The entire room was suddenly silent, with even the sounds of their breathing and heartbeats feeling distinct.

Quiet!

Deathly silence.

Ye Yun collapsed onto the floor instantly, still holding the critical illness notice, soul-lost and having lost all his former spirit.

Even though he had guessed it in his heart and had even prepared himself, when he saw this critical illness notice with his own eyes, with the description of aids written in black and white, Ye Yun realized he simply did not have the courage to face aids, to face this abominable virus that could torture him to death and yet leave him with no way to deal with it.

Ye Yun suddenly noticed an itch on his neck and subconsciously reached out to scratch it.

It was such a casual, mundane action, but it left a vivid, blood-red mark on Ye Yun’s body.

And accompanying the appearance of this mark was that skin-crawling pus and blood.

”Hahaha...”

The silent, soul-lost Ye Yun, upon discovering the changes in his body, let out a burst of maniacal laughter.
