Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 694: Chapter 693: A Blatant Threat

Nia Mitchell frowned, her eyes fixed on Principal Wu, afraid of what he might do.

The students who had been preparing to leave saw this and, their curiosity piqued, began to gather again, standing still. Without Maxwell Peary’s intimidating presence, Principal Wu was no longer as arrogant as before. The crowd began to inch forward, wanting to hear what they were discussing.

Julia Adams stood there, fuming. Nia Mitchell is my bane, a complete jinx!

”Nia Mitchell, don’t be so arrogant!”

Despite her angry shout, Julia Adams still felt a lingering fear. She had been thinking hard about what Young Master Peary had just said to her. After mulling it over, she felt one possibility was highly likely: Young Master Peary was hinting that he was incredibly capable, that he knew everything—including her little schemes and the true nature of her relationship with Nia Mitchell. The thought chilled her to the bone. This couldn’t be true! If it were, her chances of getting close to Young Master Peary would be even slimmer. After all, she had already made a poor impression on Maxwell Peary.

”Principal Wu, please leave. I need to close the car door. You know if Maxwell Peary finds out what you’re doing now, you’ll be finished.”

Despite her calm demeanor, Nia Mitchell’s heart was in chaos. Right now, she could only leverage Maxwell Peary’s reputation, hoping to intimidate Principal Wu. But she realized that a person already terrified to their core couldn’t possibly become more frightened.

Principal Wu paid no attention to Nia Mitchell’s words. His only thought was to obtain Maxwell Peary’s forgiveness. In his mind, nothing could be worse than his current situation.

From the look in Principal Wu’s eyes, Nia Mitchell already understood something.

”Call Young Master Peary! Now! Immediately!”

Nia Mitchell shivered. Principal Wu looked almost unhinged, his eyes filled with ferocity. Veins bulged on his hands as he stood there, resolutely blocking her way.

Afraid, Nia Mitchell took out her phone, hesitating as she looked at the man before her. Even if I call Maxwell Peary, there’s no guarantee Principal Wu will leave me alone. She hesitated, pondering for a long time. Still, I’ll stick to my plan.

In an instant, she swiftly opened the passenger door and jumped out of the car.

Principal Wu hadn’t expected this. Enraged, he immediately started chasing Nia Mitchell.

”So you insist on doing this the hard way! I’m telling you, make the call—now!”

The future looked too bleak; Principal Wu simply couldn’t accept it.

”Don’t come any closer!”

Nia Mitchell kept running, but she’d overlooked one thing: the area was packed with students. They were only interested in watching the spectacle and made no effort to get out of her way. She couldn’t get away; she could only dodge around the car with Principal Wu chasing her.

”Get away from me!”

Nia Mitchell was terrified. Although she found it hard to believe Principal Wu would actually harm her, she had never experienced anything like this before.

Just as she was about to break down, Fiona Sutton emerged from the dormitory building.

”What do you think you’re doing?”

Fiona Sutton hadn’t expected to see Principal Wu chasing Nia Mitchell. The moment she saw it, she rushed over and stood protectively in front of Nia.

”I’m warning you, behave yourself if you don’t want a beating from me! You don’t want to lose your life over this!” Fiona Sutton glared, shouting furiously at Principal Wu. ”Get lost!”
