Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 662: Chapter 661: Can We Not?

Maxwell Peary choked. Fine, it was his fault.

”I didn’t rush you.”

Maxwell Peary uneasily touched his nose. He was just a bit worried.

Looking at the closed door, he sat down on the bed again. Lowering his head, he saw the bloodstain on his thigh.

Should I go somewhere else and clean myself up first? For a moment, I found myself completely at a loss.

Forget it, I’ll go clean up in the guest room first.

With this thought, Maxwell Peary left the Main Bedroom.

By the time he finished cleaning himself up, Nia Mitchell still hadn’t come out.

”Nia Mitchell?”

He knocked on the door.

”Don’t rush me.”

Nia Mitchell’s face was filled with misery, but she eventually gathered her courage.

”Uncle, do you have... that... in the villa?”

Maxwell Peary blinked. That again? But what is ’that’?

”Huh?”

Nia Mitchell knew he didn’t understand what she was talking about. She hesitated for a long time before finally mustering her courage.

”Sanitary pads!” she blurted out.

Silence. Nia Mitchell pricked up her ears, listening for any sound from outside, but there was nothing.

Um...

”Uncle? Are you still there?”

Nia Mitchell blinked. Did I scare Maxwell Peary?

AHEM!

Maxwell Peary stood rooted at the door, as if his soul had left his body. It took him a while to come back to his senses before he coughed awkwardly.

”Well... I don’t think there are any.”

This is a villa halfway up the mountain. I’d occasionally stay here for short periods, so how could there be... Ah, no, that’s not right. I mean, even if I’d lived here for all my twenty-nine years, I still wouldn’t have that stuff.

Veins throbbed on his forehead, and his whole head ached.

”Is it necessary?” he asked.

And so, a certain CEO asked the dumbest question of his twenty-nine years.

Sitting on the toilet, Nia Mitchell was rendered speechless. Mr. CEO, what do *you* think?

Hearing no further sound from the bathroom, he scratched his freshly washed hair.

It seems it *is* necessary.

Then what should we do?

Maxwell Peary was momentarily at a loss. This was truly a problem of the century. He, who could solve anything, was utterly stumped by this.

Ugh... what on earth are we going to do?

”There’s only one way. If there aren’t any in the villa, then we have to go buy them.”

However, I’m already stuck on the toilet. If someone has to buy them... ahem...

Only Maxwell could go.

”You’re going to buy them?” Maxwell Peary immediately asked, carefully testing the waters.

Hearing this, Nia Mitchell’s cheeks puffed up in anger.

Mr. CEO, what are you implying? Humph!

”I can’t go right now! You go!” Nia Mitchell sat there petulantly. Her stomach ached a bit, and her back was sore. It felt awful.

Maxwell Peary stood outside, shifting uncomfortably. He reached up to touch his face and, to his surprise, felt its heat.

He drew a sharp breath. I’m not blushing, am I? What, is Nia Mitchell’s habit of blushing contagious?

”For me to go... that’s not really appropriate, is it?” he said awkwardly, wanting to refuse but unable to offer a better solution.

I can’t just let her stay in the bathroom indefinitely. Besides, if I go buy that stuff, I’ll have to drive down the mountain... It’s so far.

Wait, wait, wait! Damn it, those aren’t even the real problems! The most important thing is that I, a dignified grown man, have to go out at night to buy sanitary pads!

”What’s so inappropriate about it?” Nia Mitchell retorted, sitting there huffily, clearly displeased.

”Uncle, weren’t you quite happy when you bought condoms? You didn’t seem embarrassed buying them then...”
