Flash Marriage: Pampered by Mr.Bigshot

Chapter 665: Chapter 664: Gold Butler, No!

The next day, Nia Mitchell sat alone on the sofa, hugging a cushion, her right hand casually flicking through channels with the remote control.

”Young Mistress.”

Frederick Goldsmith approached, carrying a plate of strawberries, somewhat unsure why she hadn’t gone to work again that day. According to the CEO’s personality, wouldn’t he want her by his side 24/7?

Nia Mitchell lifted her head to look at Frederick Goldsmith, then glanced at the strawberries he held.

”These strawberries were just delivered. They’re extremely fresh. Go ahead and try some.”

Nia pouted, her expression filled with resentment as she looked at Frederick. This is absolutely deliberate! I feel like bursting into tears!

”I’m not eating.”

Sob, sob... I actually really, really want to eat them.

Hearing her refusal, Frederick was taken aback for a moment. What? Is my hearing going bad in my old age? Did I mishear something? The Young Mistress, who adores strawberries down to her very bones, actually said she wouldn’t eat strawberries?

Frederick seemed to freeze, standing rooted to the spot in a daze.

”Just take them away quickly!”

Nia feigned nonchalance, but after speaking, she hugged her cushion tighter and stared intently at the strawberries. I want them so badly! I’m about to lose control!

Gazing at the strawberries, she finally extended her little hand!

Just then, the phone rang.

GASP!

Nia was startled, and the strawberry she had just picked up slipped from her fingers and fell.

Nia glanced at Frederick, who gave an embarrassed smile and placed the strawberries on the coffee table.

”Sorry, it’s the Young Master’s call.”

After saying that, he answered the call right there.

”Young Master.”

Maxwell Peary was sitting in his Office Room, his computer screen displaying some information about precautions during menstruation.

”What is the Young Mistress doing?”

He had just tried calling Nia, but the call hadn’t gone through.

”The Young Mistress is eating strawberries.”

Er, actually, the Young Mistress is just staring at the strawberries. She’s acting very strangely today.

”She’s on her period. Put away all the cold food in the house. Don’t allow her to eat any.”

Huh?

Frederick paused, stunned, then immediately nodded and rushed to the coffee table.

”HEY! Butler Goldsmith, what are you doing?”

Nia was startled. Her hand had been reaching for a strawberry, only to find Frederick whisking the plate away.

”Hey! Butler Goldsmith, you can go, but leave the strawberries! Leave them!”

Nia immediately hopped off the sofa, slipped on her shoes, and chased after Frederick.

”Young Mistress, you’re not supposed to eat cold things when you’re feeling unwell, and you didn’t even say! Today—ah, no, I mean, for the next few days, you can’t eat anything cold.”

Frederick clutched the strawberries to his chest, determined not to let her catch up.

Nia followed, her face a mask of tearless despair. The CEO must have given the order; that’s why Frederick is acting like this. If I’d known earlier, I wouldn’t have hesitated. I would have just started eating, and I could have had a few by now!

”No, no! I’ll just eat a few! Just one!”

Nia lowered her demand, reaching out to snatch them.

But how could Frederick let her succeed?

He dodged directly. With a surprisingly agile turn, THUD, THUD, THUD! All the strawberries tumbled to the floor.

”Ah! My little strawberries!”

Nia immediately crouched down, her face etched with despair.

”Young Mistress, they’ve fallen on the floor! They’re dirty, don’t pick them up!”

Seeing Nia’s little hand reaching for the floor, Frederick lost his composure. Without a second thought, he brought his foot down—SQUISH!

Instantly, the adorable little strawberry Nia had wanted to pick up was crushed into pulp, its juice splattering across the floor.

Seeing this, Nia’s eyes instantly welled with tears. She looked up, her expression utterly pitiful.

”Butler Goldsmith!”
