Invincible Little School Doctor

Chapter 641: Chapter 640: Here’s 3 Billion for You!

When Zhang Zetao was about to pounce on his boss, two bodyguard-like giants following Yu Rongguang immediately stepped forward to block him.

Zhang Zetao, missing his strike, had to retreat.

”Yu Rongguang, if you’re bold enough, step out and duel with me fairly. Hiding behind your bodyguards, what kind of skill is that?” Zhang Zetao shouted angrily.

Yu Rongguang slowly smiled and said, ”President Zhang, why so furious? What era is it that you still want a duel? Do you think you are a knight from the Middle Ages?”

”You...” Zhang Zetao was furious and was about to break through the two bodyguards to tidy up Yu Rongguang.

However, at that moment, Ye Haochuan pulled him back.

”Doctor Ye...”

Ye Haochuan waved his hand to stop him from continuing and smiled, ”President Zhang, didn’t we come here to negotiate with President Yu? There’s no need to fall out with President Yu, right?”

”But...” Just as Zhang Zetao was about to speak, he suddenly felt an invisible force in the air pressing down on him, making it impossible for him to utter a word.

He was both startled and pleased at the same time.

Although he was not a member of the Martial Arts Path, he was a man of status and had met many extraordinary people, so when he felt something was wrong, he immediately realized that this Doctor Ye in front of him was no ordinary man.

Thinking of this, he gradually calmed his anger and slowly cooled down.

He believed, with Ye Haochuan, a man with extraordinary background present, things might go as he anticipated and he could get the evidence.

Seeing that Zhang Zetao gradually settled down, Ye Haochuan slightly relaxed and after giving him a reassuring look, slowly withdrew the Longevity Gang Qi he had exerted.

”President Yu, we have come from afar, and you, as the host, don’t invite us to sit down and talk properly, heh heh, this isn’t quite your way of hospitality, is it?” Ye Haochuan said nonchalantly with a smile.

Who the hell is this kid, being so arrogant?

Yu Rongguang muttered to himself, couldn’t help but size Ye Haochuan up and down, and saw that this young man had a calm and relaxed demeanor, with a mysterious smile always on his face.

”You are...” Yu Rongguang said cautiously.

Ye Haochuan chuckled and replied, ”President Yu, nice talking to you. My name is Ye Haochuan, nothing remarkable really, just a guy doing odd jobs for a provincial official, currently a doctor, nothing high-profile, nothing high-profile.”

This shot, vaguely solid yet vague, made Yu Rongguang’s heart pound. An odd-job man for a provincial official? And nothing high-profile?

After all, he was the president of a company, having seen all sorts of situations and could be considered well-versed in the ways of Worldly Society. Ye Haochuan’s words, seemingly elusive and evasive, made him suspicious, thinking that Ye Haochuan had a significant background.

It’s also true, those who straightforwardly say ”my dad is Li Gang” wouldn’t scare someone like Yu Rongguang, who was wary of those with a smiling face but deadly intentions.

”So you’re Doctor Ye, but I don’t know what brings Doctor Ye to my place today?” Yu Rongguang asked carefully.

He was well aware of his own affairs, engaged in real estate with a not so clean history. This young man, claiming to be a doctor, might well be a private doctor for some bigwig from the province. Offending him could potentially mean offending the powerful people behind him.

Without knowing the full facts, he, of course, couldn’t act rashly.

”What brings me, well, it’s hard to say, rather I’d like to discuss a deal with President Yu,” Ye Haochuan said with a smile that was not quite a smile.

”A deal?” Yu Rongguang was startled. ”What deal?”

”Of course, it’s about the photos,” Ye Haochuan smiled. ”We know that President Yu has already arranged for the photos to be uploaded to the internet. If President Yu can hand over the photos and delete everything from the online accounts, we wouldn’t mind compensating for some of your losses.”

”Compensate for some losses? How much can you compensate?” Yu Rongguang asked with a faint smile, ”Moreover, the photos have already been uploaded. They must have blown up the internet by now. Even if we delete them, it’s too late, right? Besides, President Zhang hates me to the bone. Would he agree to your suggestion?”

”Even if he doesn’t agree, it doesn’t matter because this is a deal between us. It doesn’t concern him. He may oppose, but he can’t interfere with our transaction,” Ye Haochuan replied with a smile.

”Oh.”

After pondering for a while, Yu Rongguang sized him up before pressing, ”Why would you even want to do this? What’s in it for you?”

”Just because I’m friends with President Zhang’s daughter, President Yu, isn’t that reason enough?” Ye Haochuan said.

”Friendship?” Yu Rongguang smirked maliciously, ”It couldn’t be a romantic relationship, could it? Hehe, Doctor Ye, you’re really gallant and loyal. Even after your girlfriend’s body has been seen by everyone, you remain so devoted. I admire that.”

”Yu Rongguang, watch your mouth! Do not insult my daughter,” Zhang Zetao roared in anger.

”President Zhang, stay calm,” Ye Haochuan consoled Zhang Zetao, then continued smiling, ”President Yu, are we doing this deal or not?”

”A deal served on a silver platter, only a fool would refuse,” Yu Rongguang laughed, ”However, I’m afraid, Doctor Ye, that you might not be able to afford the price.”

”What do you mean?” Ye Haochuan smiled.

”Because... hehe, I want the plot of land President Zhang has just acquired!” Yu Rongguang declared with a laugh.

”Impossible!” Zhang Zetao roared again in fury, ”I didn’t agree before, and now that you’ve tarnished my daughter’s reputation, don’t ever expect me to hand over that plot of land to you.”

”Well, if that’s the case, there’s no need for this deal then,” Yu Rongguang said nonchalantly.

”Hehe, President Yu, don’t speak too soon,” Ye Haochuan chuckled, ”May I ask, President Yu, what is your purpose in acquiring that plot of land?”

”Of course, it’s for real estate development.”

”And what’s the purpose of developing real estate?”

”Obviously, it’s to sell the properties and make money.”

Smack!

Ye Haochuan snapped his fingers and laughed, ”Exactly right, President Yu. Since you’re acquiring that plot of land to make money, how about I just give you the money directly? How does that sound?”

Yu Rongguang was stunned, staring at Ye Haochuan as if he were a fool, and after a while, he said, ”Doctor Ye, that’s no small sum. The commercial value of this plot is enormous. Once developed, it could yield at least three billion in net profit. Such a huge sum of money, do you really think you can afford it?”

”Three billion in net profit? Piece of cake!” Ye Haochuan snapped his fingers again, ”President Yu, this three billion, I’ll give it to you, and right away!”

”What?” Not only Yu Rongguang but Zhang Zetao also jumped up in sheer astonishment.

Three billion? This guy says he’ll give it right away? Where does he get that kind of money? Isn’t he just a simple doctor?

”Don’t believe it, huh?” Ye Haochuan smiled, took out a cheque, and after scribbling on it for a while, he handed it over.

Yu Rongguang examined the cheque carefully and was startled. It didn’t seem to be fake.

He called in his female secretary and instructed her to urgently verify the authenticity of the cheque. It wasn’t long before the secretary reported back that it was indeed genuine.

With his doubts eased, Yu Rongguang’s expression towards Ye Haochuan changed. He laughed heartily, ”Doctor Ye, you truly are generous and impressive! Thirty billion, to say you’ll give it and then just give it.”

”President Yu, what do you think? Are we still going through with this deal?” Ye Haochuan asked with a smile.
