Invincible Little School Doctor

Hearing Su Yingxue’s voice outside the room, both Ye Haochuan and Zhang Ziyi jumped in fright—the door wasn’t closed yet! If Yingxue suddenly pushed the door open, that would mean trouble.

”This is bad, Yingxue is coming to catch us in the act,” Ye Haochuan blurted out.

”What kind of language is that? Catch us in the act? Catch your own head, that sounds awful,” Zhang Ziyi scolded, irritatedly pinching his waist, her expression panicky, almost to the point of tears, and reproached Ye Haochuan, ”Look, this is all your fault...”

However, Ye Haochuan quickly calmed down and laughed, ”What’s there to be afraid of? Can she actually eat us? If she dares to nag and irritate me, I’ll just deal with her too.”

”I can’t be bothered to talk to you anymore,” Zhang Ziyi gave him a resentful glance, ”Hurry up and get dressed, hurry up; if Yingxue sees us like this, I won’t be able to clear my name even if I jump into the Yellow River.”

Ye Haochuan chuckled, saying, ”Don’t worry, let’s just get dressed quickly. Yingxue is very innocent; she won’t suspect anything random. At worst, I’ll tell her we were just chatting.”

”Chatting? I can’t believe that’s the excuse you came up with! Chatting, and you tore my clothes like this?” Zhang Ziyi said, speechless.

The more she thought about it, the angrier she became; the blood rushed to her head, and she fiercely pinched his arm.

At this moment, Su Yingxue’s voice came from outside the room again: ”Sister Ziyi, is Brother Ye still with you?”

Zhang Ziyi, with no other choice, shouted towards the door, ”Brother Ye has already left, he’s not here with me.”

”Then can I come in to talk to you, Sister Ziyi?” Su Yingxue asked.

”Wait a moment, I’ll come and open the door in a bit,” Zhang Ziyi said hastily, worried that Su Yingxue would enter.

”Oh,” Su Yingxue responded.

Only then did Zhang Ziyi breathe a slight sigh of relief and whispered to Ye Haochuan, ”What are you standing there for? Put on some clothes quickly. If Yingxue sees you, it will all be over. You may have no shame, but I do.”

”What’s the use of me putting on clothes? Where can I hide?” Ye Haochuan looked troubled.

The windows in Zhang Ziyi’s bedroom had security bars, so even if he could perform Sword Flight, he wouldn’t be able to fly out!

Zhang Ziyi looked around and said, ”Then hide under the bed.”

”What? A grown man like me hiding under a woman’s bed? That’ll sound terrible if it gets out!” Ye Haochuan was clearly reluctant, a sad expression on his face, ”Besides, as a strong and honorable man, hiding under a woman’s bed? How unlucky is that? How am I supposed to face people after this, let alone lead the ladies?”

”I’m about to be driven to death by you!” Zhang Ziyi, tears in the corner of her eyes, looked around helplessly once more, finally settling her gaze on the wardrobe beside her: ”Then hide in the wardrobe.”

Ye Haochuan took a glance at the wardrobe and was at a loss for words. Damn, that’s supposed to be a wardrobe? It was too small, wasn’t it? How could I, as so large a person, fit in there?

Zhang Ziyi seemed to realize that the wardrobe was too small and said helplessly, ”Then just hide under the covers for the time being. If I pull down the mosquito net, perhaps I can fool Yingxue.”

That was indeed a good idea.

Ye Haochuan nodded, and seeing that there was no other option, he quickly climbed into the covers to hide.

Zhang Ziyi had already put on her coat at this point, and then she crammed his clothes, trousers, shoes, and socks, all of it, under the bed, before going to open the door.

However, even as she tried to keep her composure, her face was flushing hot.

After a while, she finally calmed down, wiped away the tears from the corner of her eyes, and thinking there were no more giveaways, she then pulled the door open.

As soon as Su Yingxue saw her, she spoke timidly, ”Sister Ziyi, are you still mad at me?”

Zhang Ziyi was stunned for a moment, ”Why would I be mad at you?”

Su Yingxue was astonished, then her face turned red as she said, ”Sister Ziyi, even though I knew you were with Brother Ye, I still couldn’t help liking him, and I even wanted to be with him. Now that my dream has come true, I feel like I owe you an apology. You didn’t open the door for so long, I thought you were mad at me!”

Zhang Ziyi then came to her senses, a bitter smile in her heart. That jerk was such a flirt, who knew how many confidantes he had met; if I were to get mad, could I ever cope with it all?

However, she was currently worried about how to explain this situation, and what Yingxue had just said provided a good excuse.

”Just now, I was indeed a little mad at you, but after getting mad, I didn’t want to stay mad,” Zhang Ziyi went along with her saying.

Su Yingxue let out an, ”Oh,” and then added, ”Sister Ziyi, can we talk?”

”What about?” Zhang Ziyi asked.

”About Brother Ye’s matters. Is that okay?” Su Yingxue said.

”This...” Just as Zhang Ziyi was about to suggest they move to the living room to talk, Su Yingxue walked straight in and sat down beside the bed.

Zhang Ziyi was startled, but in her flustered and frantic state, she couldn’t find a suitable excuse and had to quickly sit down too, to keep her from rummaging around.

However, Su Yingxue still grew suspicious, ”Sister Ziyi, it’s already autumn, why are you still pulling down the mosquito net? Are there still mosquitoes around?”

Zhang Ziyi’s heart immediately started thumping wildly, and she stuttered, ”Yes... yes, I just got back, and it feels like there are still quite a few mosquitoes around, so I pulled down the mosquito net to avoid getting bitten at night.”

”Oh,” Su Yingxue was then reassured.

But at that moment, Su Yingxue suddenly noticed a sheet of drawing paper by the bed. The style seemed quite bold, and out of curiosity, she picked it up. Upon seeing the image on the paper clearly, her eyes widened in astonishment, and she glanced at Zhang Ziyi somewhat surprised, ”Sister Ziyi, did you draw this?”

Zhang Ziyi’s face turned beet red, her heart pounding, ”Um, it’s mine... I drew it in the studio.”

”Ah! In the studio, you dared to draw in this style? Aren’t you afraid of what people will say?” Su Yingxue exclaimed in surprise.

”This... Actually, I just doodled it when no one was around,” Zhang Ziyi’s explanations became more and more chaotic.

”Sister Ziyi, you’re too avant-garde. You’re capable of drawing such a shameful scene. Impressive, impressive,” Su Yingxue chuckled with her hand over her mouth.

Zhang Ziyi felt frustrated inside. It was all that Little Hun’s fault. If it hadn’t been for him, how would she have left such a handle for Yingxue to tease her with?

”Sigh, what’s impressive about it? It was just a whim when I had some idle time... By the way, didn’t you say you came to talk to me about Brother Ye? What is it about him that you want to discuss with me?” Zhang Ziyi quickly changed the subject.

”Actually, I wanted to tell you, Brother Ye has quite a few lady friends. As far as I know, Bingqian also has a somewhat ambiguous relationship with him. She’s been so upset with him lately that she hasn’t returned to school,” Yingxue revealed.

”Oh, really?” Zhang Ziyi felt indignant inside. That Little Hun had even flirted with Bingqian, and he never mentioned it to me; it’s infuriating. Hmph, he can forget about ever touching me again.”

No sooner had the words left her mouth than Zhang Ziyi’s face flushed red. What am I blabbering about? Didn’t I just give away my intimate relationship with that jerk?
