System Awakened: I Became the Mafia Kings' Obsession

Chapter 72: 72:I’m doing it for safety purposes

The car entered the new compound and rolled to a smooth stop. Nova stepped out of the car with Alan’s help, taking a moment to look around. The air was light and cooling, and more importantly, the surroundings were entirely to her liking. The mansion was a stunning display of modern architecture—a striking blend of sleek, dark glass and polished stone, surrounded by perfectly manicured gardens that exuded a quiet, dominating power.

A gentle smile spread on Nova’s lips as she glanced at a nearby flowerbed, her sharp eyes instantly noticing the hidden camera nestled among the petals. ”You sure like to have cameras everywhere, don’t you?” she said.

Just as Alan looked at her in confusion, Nova’s phone started ringing. She didn’t even check the caller ID, already knowing whose call it was. She picked up the call, and Cassian’s excited voice echoed over the phone. ”My darling!” His voice was filled with a suppressed chuckle.

”Trust me, it’s just that one to know you have arrived home safe and sound,” he added, his voice sounding with genuine concern.

Nova chuckled. ”I can’t trust you on that,” she said, spotting another camera hiding perfectly within the casing of a night bulb.

Cassian lightly hummed. ”Just those two,” he defended. ”It’s for your safety, trust me,” he added.

Nova smirked. ”You didn’t install cameras in my room, did you?” she said.

”Ummm.....” Cassian was silent for a while. ”Darling, your room door was broken, so I asked someone to fix it. For security purposes, I installed one then, but I forgot to remove it after the person left,” he replied.

Before Nova could speak, Alan snatched the phone and spoke angrily, the air between them suddenly crackling with his fierce jealousy. ”Can you be less possessive? How can Snow feel safe with you doing this?” he commented.

Nova lightly rubbed her nose, a fleeting expression of guilt flashing across her face for a few seconds.

”I bet the person that should be feeling unsafe here is Cassian. Poor him isn’t even aware of how many secret camera bugs you installed in all his computers, monitoring his every step without him even knowing,” Anah commented, holding back her laughter.

”I’m doing it for safety purposes,” Nova replied inwardly.

Cassian, on the other end, gritted his teeth together. ”Shut up, is she your wife?” he commented.

Alan snorted, completely unbothered by the Mafia Don’s wrath. ”The answer is obviously yes,” he replied with a mocking tone.

”You! Return the phone to my darling.”

”Manage your business well over there. I need to take care of my Snow,” Alan replied. Before Cassian could speak, he disconnected the call and effortlessly swept Nova up into his arms.

He carried her inside. The interior was massive, designed to overwhelm the senses with its luxury. The sitting room was a breathtaking expanse of space, neatly arranged with velvet sofas, minimalist glass tables, and soft, ambient lighting that reflected off the marble floors. Floor-to-ceiling windows offered a sweeping view of the estate, blending absolute power with quiet elegance.

Nova stared around, finding the entire house to her complete liking. ”He sure knows how to pique my interest,” she thought.

”It’s really good here,” Alan commented, looking at Nova who was now standing beside him. ”Snow, are you fine with it?” he asked.

Nova nodded and stared at him, a deeply seductive smile spreading on her lips. The playful atmosphere suddenly shifted, thickening into a heavy, intoxicating heat. ”Want to buy me another one if I don’t like it?” she asked, taking a step closer to him.

Alan breathed heavily and nodded. ”I... I can buy you one that’s even bigger than this,” he replied.

Nova chuckled. ”Instead of buying me a house, just give me the money and let me spend it,” she said.

”Oh... yes,” Alan replied. He immediately dropped his bag, zipped it open, and brought out his wallet, passing it to Nova without a second of hesitation. ”Here, all that is mine is yours,” he added.

Nova took the wallet and chuckled, the weight of his absolute devotion wrapping around her. ”This is like entrusting your life to me. What if I dump you?” she asked, her smile widening.

”I know I’m not yet as rich as Cassian and Raymond now. If you dump me, I will drop out of school and focus on gaining power and wealth. Once I’ve gotten it, I will come back to you and offer you everything,” Alan replied, his voice vibrating with genuine, unshakable determination.

Nova laughed, the sound soft and breathless against the charged air. ”You are too serious. How can I face my mother-in-law if you drop out of school for me, huh?” she commented.

”I—” He couldn’t complete his statement because Nova pressed her lips against his, cutting off his words. After a while, she pulled away, staring up into his darkened eyes. ”Don’t worry, I won’t dump you,” she added.

Alan’s face flushed. He could feel his lower body getting hard, his whole body turning scorching hot. The air in the living room grew heavy, suffocating with raw, unfiltered desire. ”Snow,” he called softly, hugging her tightly against his chest. ”I love you,” he said. ”I love you very much,” he repeated, his voice thick with need.

Nova chuckled and patted his back. ”You are getting hot, baby,” she whispered.

Alan pulled away gently and sealed her lips in a deep, long kiss, his hands holding her waist tightly against his chest. Nova wrapped her arms around his neck, not backing out. The kiss deepened into something passionate and desperate, and they continued until both of them were breathless.

Alan lifted Nova in his arms once again and immediately rushed upstairs. It didn’t take long before he found his room, and he kicked the door shut, locking it behind them.

”Let’s bathe first, Snow,” he offered, his voice trembling slightly with anticipation.

Nova nodded. Alan entered the massive, luxurious bathroom, set Nova on her feet, and was about to fill the elegant soaking tub with water, but Nova stopped him. She turned on the overhead shower instead, standing directly under the cascading water with her clothes still on. Her entire body was soaked instantly, the wet fabric clinging tightly to her skin and revealing her perfect bodily curves.

Alan gulped, his eyes burning with an endless, consuming desire. Staring at Nova under the downpour, he could feel himself becoming too hard to control. The bathroom filled with steam, but it was nothing compared to the blistering heat radiating between them.

Nova removed her glasses and tossed them somewhere randomly on the floor. Without her glasses, she looked even more fiercely tempting under the shower, dripping wet like a siren who had just emerged from the sea.

Alan moved closer to her, stepping under the spray and getting soaked as well. He held her by her waist, gently tucking her wet hair behind her ear, his touch reverent but hungry.

”You are so perfect, Snow.”

Nova chuckled, her hand slipping into his pants, claiming him through the soaked fabric. ”Of course. How can I charm you if I’m not perfect?” she whispered, wrapping her fingers firmly around his aching arousal.

”Ah!” Alan’s hands tightened bruisingly around Nova’s waist as he groaned in raw pleasure.

A satisfactory, wicked smile spread on Nova’s lips as she seductively dropped to her knees. She pulled Alan’s pants and underwear down, freeing his little brother completely.

Without making a single sound, Nova took him into her mouth and looked up at him through her wet lashes.

”Ah... so warm,” Alan whispered, his voice shattering in the steamy room. He could feel himself getting incredibly hard inside Nova’s mouth. ”It’s so good.”

Nova smiled against him and began moving her head.
