Ling Tian Sword God

Chapter 1104: Chapter 1103: Clarity

The mere aftermath of the battle was unexpectedly fierce, something many Lingyue Island disciples watching from the square did not anticipate.

Many disciples retreated one after another, their eyes showing signs of caution.

Gu Wuqing’s gaze was very solemn as it fell on the area of conflict, where the dust cleared and two figures emerged.

Both of them bore traces of battle, but neither Ling Chen nor Leng Qianshang were injured. They stood in their original positions, exuding extremely strong auras and confronting each other on equal terms.

An even match!

The crowd was surprised, as the result of this clash was unexpectedly a draw!

”How is that possible!”

Zhou Qingqing’s beautiful eyes widened in disbelief. This Ling Chen could actually remain undefeated against Leng Qianshang, fighting him to a draw!

”Unexpectedly, everyone underestimated you, Ling Chen.”

Leng Qianshang’s pupils slightly contracted, his eyes showing a hint of disbelief. He originally thought he could easily handle Ling Chen, but even after deploying his full strength, he couldn’t take him down.

”So, does Your Excellency submit?”

Ling Chen swept his Red Sky Sword, the blade pointing to the ground, and spoke casually.

”Submit? Among the Lingyue Island disciples, only one person can make me, Leng Qianshang, submit, and that is not you, Ling Chen.”

Suddenly, Leng Qianshang’s eyes shot out sharp cold light, and as soon as he finished speaking, his killing intent suddenly surged. ”If you can withstand this attack, I will acknowledge you as the leader!”

After speaking, the surface of his body twisted, his blood flowed backward, and blood light surged, even dyeing Leng Qianshang’s hair blood-red.

In that moment, Ling Chen suddenly threw a punch, his boundless blood-colored True Qi forming a meteor-like fist strength, bursting towards Ling Chen’s face as soon as Leng Qianshang punched!

The fist strength gushed out, causing the entire square to tremble violently.

Facing this fist strength, Ling Chen stood still. At the moment when the blood-colored meteor fell, he suddenly stepped back and slashed out with his Red Sky Sword.

”Return to Ruins!”

The moment the Red Sky Sword was drawn, the sword qi immediately covered a circular area, forming a pattern, as the blood-colored meteor blasted upon it and exploded.

”Break!”

Leng Qianshang shouted, and the blood-colored meteor emitted an astonishing brilliance, like a burning blood-red sun, trying to smash through the circular sword qi area.

”Annihilation!”

However, Ling Chen’s pupils merely contracted, and the expanding circular area suddenly compressed, annihilating the blood-red sun in an instant, crushing it into nothingness!

Thump thump thump!

Leng Qianshang retreated continuously, his face pale. That move just now had condensed about three points of his True Qi, and he hadn’t expected it to be forcibly annihilated by Ling Chen, causing his True Qi to be severely depleted and his Vitality Energy to suffer.

”Elder Brother Leng!”

Several grouped disciples quickly rushed forward to support Leng Qianshang.

”Leng Qianshang actually suffered a loss.”

Gu Wuqing’s expression changed. His strength was on par with Leng Qianshang, and since Leng Qianshang suffered at Ling Chen’s hands, he feared it would be the same if he faced Ling Chen.

”What a bizarre sword technique!”

Leng Qianshang steadied his posture and frowned. He was keenly aware of the power of his deadly move. To annihilate his technique, Ling Chen’s sword would have required immense strength.

”Did Elder Brother Leng really lose?”

A Lingyue Island disciple exclaimed.

”No, Elder Brother Leng was just caught off guard. In a real fight, he might not lose.”

”That’s what you’re saying, but Elder Brother Leng already said that if this move doesn’t work against Ling Chen, he’ll acknowledge Ling Chen as the leader. He might find it hard to go back on his word.”

The members of that group began to discuss among themselves.

Hearing these words, Leng Qianshang frowned. Indeed, he had dug this hole for himself. Now, he either had to break his word on the spot or acknowledge Ling Chen’s leadership.

After a struggle in his gaze, Leng Qianshang finally gritted his teeth and cupped his hands towards Ling Chen, ”Ling Chen, I, Leng Qianshang, am willing to acknowledge my loss. From now on, I recognize you as the leader of the first group.”

His words caused an uproar among the disciples, as Leng Qianshang acknowledged Ling Chen’s leadership, meaning he was now willing to accept Ling Chen’s command and management.

One of the two Heavenly Prides had acquiesced.

The many members of the first group looked at Ling Chen with astonished eyes.

On the very first day, he had made a young genius at the Heavenly Pride Level submit to him. Who exactly was this Ling Chen?

”No wonder the Second Elder took him as a direct disciple.”

Lin Wan’s beautiful eyes showed a hint of realization, now somewhat understanding why Shen Bingxin held Ling Chen in such high regard.

”Now, is there anyone who does not accept me as the leader?”

After Leng Qianshang declared his acceptance of Ling Chen as leader, Ling Chen put away the Red Sky Sword and scanned the other members of the first group, calling out loudly.

This time, all fifty-nine members of the first group remained silent, with no one voicing any objections.

Even Gu Wuqing, after some inner turmoil, chose not to step forward and instead opted for compromise.

Ling Chen’s strength had gained his acknowledgment.

In the crowd, Zhou Qingqing’s heart was completely cold. She originally hoped Leng Qianshang could stand up for her, suppress Ling Chen and force him to step down as leader.

This way, Ling Chen would have no right to command her or do anything to her.

However, Ling Chen remained the leader.

”Zhou Qingqing, now do you have anything to say?”

Ling Chen’s gaze fell on Zhou Qingqing, and a sly smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

”I have nothing to say, and I will accept any punishment.”

Zhou Qingqing bit her lip, her mind in inner turmoil. Was she really going to be subjected to Ling Chen’s whims and be defiled by him?

”Very well, then I will now announce your punishment.”

A gleam appeared in Ling Chen’s eyes, and his words caused Zhou Qingqing’s heart to tremble slightly as she bit her lip even harder. He surely wouldn’t make an excessive demand of her in front of everyone, would he?

”I now announce, I appoint you as the vice leader of the first group.”

The corner of Ling Chen’s mouth rose slightly, ”From now on, you will be my direct contact within the first group. If I’m not present, you will take on the responsibilities of the group leader.”

”What, vice leader?”

Zhou Qingqing was stunned, her previous tension vanishing completely. This guy wasn’t planning to take advantage of her, but instead appointed her as the vice leader with such significant power?

What was the meaning of this, what exactly was this guy’s scheme?
