Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Although this situation was something that had been anticipated for a long time, when it finally arrived, both Jia Yan and that group of subordinates felt a bit uncomfortable.

”It’s almost time. The place they agreed to meet with me is a civilization resembling an elven kingdom, about ten light years away from Earth. They’ve calculated well; all ten parties are able to arrive at the same time.”

Jia Yan looked at the calculated meeting location, smiled, and continued to fly towards it.

In subspace, speeds were no longer too slow for Jia Yan.

Although this subspace wasn’t deep enough for Jia Yan to reach the maximum speed achievable by a stellar class battleship, it wasn’t too slow either, at least allowing for short-distance travels.

When Jia Yan flew to that civilization, which resembled humans but with pointed ears, a civilization similar to Earth people, most of the subordinates from the nine directions had also arrived.

However, because speed calculations were not that simple, with some fast and some slow, a few met up first.

”This civilization is quite nice; they actually knew to come in advance to welcome us.”

Jia Yan looked at the large fleet of warships and merchant ships that the elven-like civilization had prepared in advance to greet him.

After all, it’s an interstellar meeting, and Jia Yan no longer needed to be too low-key; appropriate appearances were very necessary. So when Jia Yan and his team came to meet in this civilization, they notified the high-ranking officials of this civilization.

The entire civilization was abuzz over the arrival of Jia Yan and his team.

As a civilization similar and close to Earth, this civilization had always remained by the side of the Earth Alliance. In fact, a large number of their people had moved to Earth, either to work or to contribute their talents. For example, the woman who once protected Jia Qi in the Jia family was a powerful strong one from this civilization.

Yet despite this, this civilization over the years has only been considered a relatively solid ally of the Earth Alliance, without gaining much fame throughout the Orion Arm. Even with a population five or six times that of Earth, no other civilization took note of them. At most, when seeing this civilization, whose individual members weren’t very strong and wouldn’t grow much, others would mistakenly recognize them as ’Earth people’ and react with astonishment and respect.

In fact, even Jia Yan didn’t know the name of this civilization.

”The subspace over there is reacting; it’s Lord Jia Yan. Lord Jia Yan is coming; hurry and get ready.”

As Jia Yan slowly emerged from subspace, among the arranged fleet, some instruments began to react.

The entire fleet and upper echelons were instantly filled with tension, erupting into a massive display of welcoming fireworks.

These fireworks weren’t an Earth custom but slowly became a standard way in the universe to welcome important figures, akin to the salutes used on Earth in earlier years to welcome leaders of other countries.

The welcome display from this elven kingdom was extremely high in standard, much higher than that for an average head of state visit.

This was, of course, due to Jia Yan’s strength and his significant contributions to the Orion Arm.

Jia Yan’s contributions to Earth are immense, but his appearance was also a pivotal rescue in the Orion Arm several times, garnering him similar affection as from Earth people.

”Hello, and thank you for these arrangements.”

Jia Yan finally emerged from subspace, revealing his true form to countless members and leaders of the elven kingdom.

”Wow, it’s really the Lord Giant Mosquito.”

”Ancestor, this is the first time coming to our elven kingdom.”

Each being from the elven kingdom worshipped Jia Yan’s arrival, almost perceiving him as a divine spirit in their midst.

Indeed, it wasn’t wrong to see it that way. To them, someone of stellar class stature would be a divine spirit, and reaching the rumored star river level existence, the pinnacle of the entire Milky Way, would unquestionably feel like a divine presence.

Jia Yan had little to say to these unfamiliar species creatures, simply requesting they lead him to the arranged location to await his subordinates’ arrival.

Before long, the first subordinate arrived.

”Ah, our Lord arrived before us. It seems we misjudged the time and place. Apologies for the wait.”

The one who spoke appeared remorseful towards Jia Yan upon arriving.

Jia Yan turned around to see a massive creature emerging from within a gigantic stellar class battleship.

This creature left a deep impression on Jia Yan. It was his sheep-headed godling subordinate. Of course, she was no longer just a godling but an official Yin-Yang Dao subordinate now.

”Oh, you arrived quickly too. Come over; the others should be arriving soon as well.”

Jia Yan smiled, inviting the diligent subordinate to his side.

In the universe, the two Jia Yan Squad members slowly gathered at one spot.

”Oh, your strength has improved significantly; you’ve already reached the peak mid-tier of stellar class.”

Jia Yan was slightly astonished to see this godling powerhouse.

When Jia Yan recruited these subordinates back then, he knew their talents weren’t the best among stellar class strong ones, yet after cultivating his Yin-Yang Dao, each had unexpectedly made notable progress. Now this godling subordinate also reached the mid-tier peak, albeit still appearing unstable, but a breakthrough to the late stellar class seemed imminent.

”All this is due to Lord Jia Yan’s nurturing. My strength had long stagnated years ago. But since I began cultivating your Yin-Yang Dao, my strength resumed progressing. Moreover, my understanding of the Yin-Yang Dao seems to render the universe more transparent, resulting in rapid improvements.”

The sheep-headed former godling female powerhouse spoke with great reverence to Jia Yan.

”Hehe, it’s your own diligence too. By the way, since your strength has improved so quickly, what about the others? I’ve been so busy with my own strength lately that I haven’t been able to pay much attention to your progress, so I’m not sure how strong they are now.”

Jia Yan was genuinely interested in his subordinates’ progress in strength.

After all, besides himself, they were the strongest within the Yin-Yang Dao, possessing the deepest understanding of it. In fact, much of Jia Yan’s inspiration regarding the Yin-Yang Dao was derived from observing them.

”The others, heh, my Lord, just wait and see. You know we’re former godlings, so our strength conversion was slower than theirs. That’s why some of them have progressed faster than us. But of course, we hope to catch up with them in the future.”

This sheep-headed godling creature surprisingly spoke so highly of the other subordinates’ strength.

”So they’ve become even stronger.”

Upon hearing this, Jia Yan couldn’t help but anticipate the strength of his other subordinates.

At that moment, he began to imagine that even if he encountered setbacks in the future, as long as his system is passed down and with so many masters holding positions within the system, the Yin-Yang Dao will surely never be lost. Perhaps in a distant future, beyond Jia Yan’s imagination, it will become a significant cultivation system within the Milky Way.

Of course, this was beyond Jia Yan’s current imagination. In fact, he felt that within his lifetime, this dream might be unattainable. Because challenging the universe powerhouse system still requires the Yin-Yang Dao to reach a godlike level, with a sufficient number of strong ones, only then is it possible to succeed in the challenge.
