Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

”Ah, what a delight! Even if this gigantic meteor doesn’t contain any unique substances, the sheer vast energy entering my mouthparts provides enough power for me to recover.”

As Jia Yan consumed the meteorite, his energy was rapidly replenishing. After three months, his strength had reached its peak.

”Excellent, now let’s return to the Country of Taia and take a look.”

Having fully regained his strength, Jia Yan flew into the depths of subspace.

For Jia Yan, subspace had become an integral part of his life. He even knew that his future might involve further enhancing his subspace talent, potentially turning it into his greatest strength.

Of course, this would require Jia Yan to continue researching subspace power. At least with his current level of subspace talent and strength, he seemed unable to derive any further cultivation direction from the surrounding crowd or legendary sources, as he had already reached the level of the most powerful subspace talent creature in history.

The path ahead required him to walk alone. What lay behind the Eighth Degree Subspace, or how challenging those unknowns would be, were unimaginable to him.

Thus, during Jia Yan’s journey, he began delving deeply into the inner workings of subspace.

Meanwhile, two uninvited guests arrived not far from the Country of Taia, where Jia Yan had last appeared.

”Oh, so this is where that guy, Jia Yan, was last seen?”

”Ha! In such an underdeveloped starfield in such an underdeveloped nation, how could there be a Galactic Grade existence who cares? I truly don’t understand how Jia Yan thinks.”

”Don’t mock him. He’s just newly promoted to Star River Level, and yet his strength might even be stronger than our combined power. Underestimating him would be underestimating ourselves.”

”What, you’re saying his power is stronger than ours? Isn’t that inflating outsiders’ influence and lowering our own goals? I don’t like hearing that. If he’s near the Country of Taia, I could test his skills and see if he’s really as formidable as the legends say.”

The two creatures pointed and gestured at the Country of Taia from nearby.

Still, they didn’t dare get too close. Even though the legendary ’Jia Yan’ had left long ago, they remained cautious of the one who could single-handedly defeat four Star River Level warriors.

”Forget it, we came to scope out the situation here. Since Jia Yan isn’t around, let’s just gather some intelligence.”

”True, haha! They mentioned before we came that if Jia Yan had coincidentally returned, we could have fought him to see his real strength. Alas, that wish can’t be fulfilled.”

The two Star River Level warriors expressed regret over Jia Yan not being in the Country of Taia, but their expressions showed they were actually relieved not to face the legendary Evolutionary Creature.

A reputation precedes itself. If it were before, no one would have feared Jia Yan. But over the past years, since his promotion from the stellar level after defeating an assassin, to his first day as a Star River Level where he defeated four Galactic Level powerhouses together, no one dared truly contend with Jia Yan.

At the Star River Level, the circle is small, like the assassin or the three who accompanied the assassin. These powerhouses were known or at least familiar to others on that level.

Even those stronger than the four would be at a middle stellar level, or only slightly more powerful.

Hence, facing Jia Yan, who could drive away all four and even counter-kill one, no one dared to underestimate him.

”Alright, let’s observe for another day or two, then we’ll head back.”

”Hmm, there’s nothing remarkable about the Country of Taia, and since Jia Yan isn’t here, we don’t need to linger.”

The two Star River Level powerhouses were not sent by others but were instead contemplating joining an organization formed to hunt down Jia Yan. Their presence here was to assess Jia Yan’s reported capabilities, collecting tales and information about Jia Yan to analyze his strength.

Promotion to Star River Level is an intense and unpredictable process, even for these two, whose stories are filled with twists and turns.

Yet the stories of Jia Yan in the Country of Taia, even just the ones recounted by the people there, stirred feelings of unease within these two Galactic Level existences.

”He hasn’t been through many battles; his promotion was swift. But each of his battles was incredibly daunting. For example, while at the stellar level, he defeated a veteran Star-Level existence and overcame numerous strong ones. Jia Yan seems to live his life constantly in battle.”

”The terror of Evolutionary Creatures probably explains why they’re targeting them.”

”Haha, don’t tell me you don’t know. Our reason for targeting Jia Yan goes beyond just that.”

”Yes, let’s keep it among ourselves without stating it aloud.”

After witnessing much about Jia Yan, the two Star River Level existences began to respect him slightly.

Jia Yan’s entire journey of promotion lacked any clear right or wrong. With such dense, intense battles, one couldn’t easily define good or bad. Though mostly reactive, Jia Yan initiated battles as well, and his rapid evolution demonstrated his extraordinary growth speed.

”Looking at it like this, Jia Yan seems even more formidable. Hopefully, we don’t encounter him.”

”One more day of observing, then we’ll leave.”

The more they analyzed Jia Yan’s past, the more they realized his unusual nature.

But just as they considered leaving.

A massive presence blitzed through subspace like a flash of lightning.

”Finally repaired. Now my power is at its peak. I’d love to test my skills against some Star River Level existences, maybe then I’ll truly understand my strength.”

As Jia Yan flew, he pondered his progress.

He wasn’t quite sure of his current strength.

He was undoubtedly strong, but because his change was on a cellular level, his defense and Yin-Yang Dao’s explosive force couldn’t be easily calculated. His brainwave power wasn’t as surprising, only surpassing a typical Star River Level initial stage slightly.

Thus, normally disinclined to battle, Jia Yan was tempted to find a Galactic Level existence, or several, for a fight to gauge his current strength.

”I’m almost at the Country of Taia. I’ll wrap up a few things here then return to Earth. I haven’t been back for a long time. I wonder if Jia Qi has had a grandchild or two for me, haha... hmm?”

As Jia Yan neared the Country of Taia, lost in thought, suddenly, his expression subtly changed.
