Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 2297: Chapter 3: Job Assignment

The entire planet is filled with factories, giving Jia Yan a somewhat familiar feeling.

”It feels a bit like the Country of Taia in the Northern Star Domain, but it seems to lack a certain something compared to Taia. There are just more factories...”

This planetary region, with its countless factories and empty spaces, is a place that would be considered spectacular and unbelievable to many visitors from outer starfields, but to Jia Yan, it wasn’t that impressive.

After all, he had seen the Country of Taia and interacted with some of the major scientific forces in the Genius Battlefield. Not to mention, in the Divine Spirit Major Domain, certain star zones specialized in technology, with dozens to hundreds of planets dedicated to research; compared to that, this was only a triviality.

Of course, the scene before him was impressive—at least in the Orion Arm, such a scene wouldn’t likely be seen for many years; without technology and talent, it takes years of accumulation to have such an opportunity.

”Alright, your future workplace is over there. Now, get off the battleship.”

Accompanied by a loud shout, the battleship flew toward a star the size similar to Earth.

In this star’s endless regions, there were factories and workshops everywhere; some places produced small components, while others were engaged in producing items like electronic chips.

”I see, I know where the difference lies.”

The gigantic mosquito body flew over this extremely advanced industrial planet, and then he realized why this planet felt somewhat lackluster to him.

The planet was filled with relatively outdated equipment and factories, with factory after factory engaging in mere foundational work.

This was nothing more than a planet-sized factory.

Jia Yan finally understood what kind of place this was.

Actually, it made sense. What Earth needed wasn’t research and development capabilities; initially, they needed to learn the most basic labor skills. Without skills or technology, talking about research and development was nothing but a joke.

”Besides us Earth people, many other creatures from the Orion Arm came this time. However, some were injured by other passengers on the way, so we must be even more cautious when we arrive on this planet. They say that exchange apprentices like us from outer areas hold the least status.”

An Earth student said this to a few fellow students around him.

They were all Earth students, and they had relatively good grades. However, being young, they understood that they tended to be impulsive, so at this moment, the most capable and top-achieving student among them gave these instructions to his peers.

As for Jia Yan, he had no intention of competing with them for power and benefits. This journey was merely a sudden whim, and even after his true body finished observing this place, he might leave and possibly take his avatar with him.

What he intended was to adjust his mindset through trials in the outer world. As a creature who had reached Stellar Class High Level, upgrading further wasn’t just about energy. Even at the Galaxy Level, energy was no longer the primary limitation to strong development.

At that stage, even an Evolutionary Creature requires a certain mindset or cosmic understanding. After reaching the peak of Stellar, a strong one already has some possibility to influence their developmental breakthroughs. However, this influence is an indescribable concept, like how humans use their limbs—it’s functional, but who can explain how one uses their limbs?

Jia Yan was now seeking that ineffable sense of breakthrough, striving for better harmony with the universe to catch an inspiration that could help him break through.

That’s why he would travel across the universe and, especially during this trip, upon hearing about Jia Ruo’s classmates planning an external exchange journey to the outer star area, he decided on a whim to participate in this journey with an avatar arranged by a few of his subordinates.

Not to see how advanced other civilizations were, as he was already well aware of the gap between the Orion Arm and external star areas. He already held no expectation for the Orion Arm to catch up with other civilizations rapidly.

”You guys study hard. I’ll go down and have a look.”

Jia Yan turned to say to the traveling students. Amidst their startled cries, he opened the hatch of the warship spaceship and leaped out.

From the spaceship behind, a thunderous voice called out.

They were supposed to take these Earth students to their future factories for learning. Simply put, it was to find some unpaid labor. Now there’s labor that hadn’t even reached the factory but was uncooperative with the work?

This was unacceptable.

So, an overwhelming presence rose within the spaceship, disregarding whether Jia Yan was an Earth person or not. Typically, even Earth kids who come as apprentices have some family background, but it couldn’t be significant enough to deter action. Therefore, the strong one’s brainwave power immediately locked onto Jia Yan’s back.

Bang!

In the sky, an earth-shattering explosion sounded.
