Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 749: Chapter 26 Fleet Takes Off! 【Seeking Subscription】_1

”The First Fleet will be Earth’s first line of defence against the enemy, and in the future, there will be a second one, a third one! Until we’ve completely driven all the invading enemies out of our Solar System homeland!”

Jia Yan’s words were filled with fervor, but he subtly switched the concept here, indicating not only that Earth people should consider Earth as their home, but the entire Solar System.

Subtly, he even placed himself as a ’member of Earth’.

But at this point, no one would question it. Even if they wanted to, they’d dare not.

”Roar! Drive them out of the Solar System! The Solar System belongs to us, the people of Earth!”

Suddenly, echoes of agreement rang throughout the entire square.

The First Earth Fleet was thus born!

Jia Yan accomplished a lot during this grand meeting. The outside world even described it as a ’military parade.’ Even though the Alliance didn’t confirm it, they didn’t deny it either, because it wasn’t wrong for people to think that way.

After all, the square was filled with what could be described as the strongest weapons of the Mosquito Earth Alliance, the strongest soldiers and future species. Various signs were strikingly similar to the military parades of old Earth nations.

During this military parade, Jia Yan defined Earth’s defensive positioning and, more importantly, the Solar System’s sense of belonging. Before this, who among Earth people would say: the Solar System is ours?

But since the Big Mosquito has said so, Earth people naturally couldn’t deny it. Especially when it significantly expanded the territory of Earth people, they certainly wouldn’t refuse.

Moreover, it seems that in this speech, Big Mosquito made a statement for himself and his subordinates. They identified themselves as a local force belonging to the ’Mosquito Earth Alliance.’ Although it wasn’t different from before, openly stating it seemed to strengthen the close relationship between Earth people and the Mosquito tribe.

The Earth Alliance began its unrestrained drive again!

Compared to the destitution of the past, this time was very different. Laborious tasks became rare, most were about operating various machinery, and a lot of mental work increased too.

Earth people who could repair machines increased. Although some high-tech items from Outer Star were extremely advanced, after simplification and training, Earth people could understand them. Thus, when there were more repair and construction workers, similar tasks freed up the Outer Star scientists in Earth City.

They could carry out more rigorous scientific experiments and further improve some products.

All matters were progressing swiftly and intensely.

”In three days, the first batch of Earth Battleships will rise with me to strike at the enemy!”

Finally, on this day, Big Mosquito delivered a television speech, mobilizing before the war.

The speech did not differ much. Jia Yan did not know if he was used to similar work. He only felt that a lot of formalities were tiring. As a creature born for battle, he always felt that the job at hand was not suitable for him. He even felt that as the Strongest One, his duties should not be these.

But he couldn’t refrain from doing them. Once he reached this status, he was destined to face them.

At dawn, a gentle drizzle began to fall.

Jia Yan floated lightly in the air. The black smog that appeared again in the sky made the air not quite pleasant. Although it was not unbearable for Big Mosquito, his mood was like this haze; somewhat gloomy and downcast.

He arrived at that familiar little mountain village, oh, it should no longer be called a ’little mountain village’ but ’Return City’.

Looking at the cluster of houses built around the hilltop near the city center, it seemed like they were guarding the hill. The lights in them were brilliant, but all the houses distanced themselves from the hilltop, seemingly enhancing the status of the hill.

Jia Yan heard laughter and cheerfulness within.

At this moment, he suddenly didn’t feel like getting close to his family because he was somewhat confused.

Back on Grey-Yellow Star, he always wanted to return to Earth and, when he was still the Little Mosquito, he always wanted to see his family. But now that he has everything, he felt that there was a gap between his reality and expectations. He even felt that the emptiness in his heart was subtly increasing.

Jia Yan just stood there in mid-air, shrouded in haze, letting the fog hide his figure.

”Huh!? Mom, Uncle is here!”

Suddenly, Jia Yan heard the child-like voice of a little girl from one of the houses on the hilltop. She was calling out in a long scream.

He was stunned. He was all too familiar with that voice. It was his little niece, Qiqi’s voice, whom he hadn’t seen in half a year.

She found him?

Jia Yan was stunned before he laughed in self-deprecation because he realized his disguise had merely evaded the eyes of half the Earth people. Although he was absent-minded, it was not strange for Qiqi, with her Brainwave Power, to find him.

Since she found him, he might as well go and see her. After all, he didn’t know when he could see her again after three days.

Big Mosquito moved his wings and swooped down towards the layer below the clouds!

”Uncle! Uncle, you came to see Qiqi!”

Unexpectedly, little Qiqi hadn’t forgotten her ’Giant Mosquito Uncle,’ whom she hadn’t seen for half a year. As soon as Jia Yan flew overhead, her petite body dashed out of the house like the wind.
